The room facilities were all new, and the provided tissues were of good quality, but the soundproofing in the rooms wasn't great. A few men were playing cards and smoking in the lobby downstairs, which wasn't ideal and disturbed others. The guesthouse does have private rooms for playing cards and mahjong; I'd actually recommend that smokers use those rooms.

We arrived in the afternoon on the first day and walked around the town to see the countryside; on the second day, we climbed and watched the surrounding scenic spots; Shanghai Xuhui can be reached in 2 hours and 40 minutes.
