Modern hotel with friendly staff with good English. Plenty of choice at breakfast.

The rooms are good, meeting 4-star standards. The windows are soundproof, so you can't hear anything from the street. You can sleep well at night. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The location is right next to the main train station, not in the city center. A very good choice for people who travel a lot by train. The hotel charges an additional fee for early check-in, which is a bit confusing to me, since Olomouc isn't London/Milan/Prague. One evening and the following morning, there was no hot water due to technical problems. What also confuses me a bit: I booked in EUR, but the hotel charged me in CZK using its exchange rate (unfavorable for me). When I paid by credit card, the amount I received was larger (my bank doesn't charge a fee). After negotiation, I was refunded the excess. Normally, the booking agent takes the amount in EUR directly when booking; or the website shows the CZK price, and you then pay this CZK at the hotel.

Not bad, good service attitude

The transportation is convenient and the environmental facilities are pretty good compared to the surrounding areas.

I had not been in Olomouc for a while and was back a week ago. Everything in the hotel was superb and it is clearly well managed. The rooms are super and the food excellent. I know this sounds like a paid ad but it really is an excellent hotel and one of my favourites. What also attracts me is that it is right opposite the railway station entrance so no waiting for taxis or buses or trams. On cold winter days this is a huge advantage. Ask for a room overlooking the railway station.

I have to admit I am biased when it comes to this hotel as it is one of my favorites and I have stayed there every year since it opened almost twenty years ago which is tribute in itself. I visit the best local attraction the steam narrow gauge railway from Tremesna to Osoblaha and this hotels is ideal for getting there for the trip which is outstanding it being the last Czech Railways narrow gauge steam railway and wíth steam at that! The hotel is superbly managed with an extremely friendly staff! the breakfast is superb as is the food. The rooms have everything you could ask for. I highly recommend it.

This is one of my favorite hotels. Its location opposite the railway station makes it very easy to get to. The staff are friendly and competent and will do anything to make ones stay better. The food is top class and you can have anything anytime of the day. Clearly a well managed hotel. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is without doubt the best value and the best hotel in Olomouc. The food is excellent, the rooms superb and the staff friendly and helpful. Being opposite the Railway station it is in an ideal location. I highly recommend it,. I also suggest you take a day on the Osoblaha steam railway from Tremesna v Slezsku.

It has been over two years since I had been in Olomouc due Covid but the Clarion Hotel has not changed, The food is superb, the staff friendly and the rooms everything you could want and particularly a huge deep bath which I love. Their rates are extremely reasonable. Olomouc is a delightful city and not far from the famous Tremesna Osoblaha narrow gauge Steam Railway which is fantastic and also worth a visit. The Ceske Drahy steam depot in Olomouc is also worth a visit.

This is a neat hotel opposite the station. Spacious rooms and good bathroom. The breakfast buffet is extensive. There is a parking garage under the hotel. Fortunately there was still space, it is wise to reserve a space in advance. It is about a fifteen minute walk to the city, you can also take the tram. There is a fairly large supermarket next to the hotel.

We slept here for one night and we had a great time, the room was clean, cozy and very spacious, especially in my opinion quiet; the breakfast is nothing exceptional but more than enough. The location is excellent, the tram passes in front of you and with only 18 crowns and 4 stops (7 minutes) you are in the center that is worth seeing. If you happen to have to stop in Oloumuc for a break this hotel is perfect.
