I checked in and immediately checked out because the room was in unacceptable condition — dirty bathroom, damaged furniture, and a severely indented mattress. The actual state of the property was completely different from the photos and description. What is equally concerning is the misrepresentation through Trip.com. The listing, reviews, and images created an expectation that did not match reality at all. After comparing with Google reviews, the discrepancies were obvious. Check any bookings done in @trip.com and the reviews they put against google reviews and other platforms. THEY DIFFER TREMENDOUSLY! Paying $230 for a room that was uninhabitable and unusable is unacceptable. This was not a minor issue — it was a basic standards failure and a lack of transparency in how the property is advertised on booking platforms."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station and surrounded by malls. Takashimaya and Aeon's large supermarket are nearby, with department stores on the upper floors of the supermarket. The 6th and 7th floors are full of restaurants, well worth exploring for a meal. The station itself also has a huge food hall, and on the B level, there are several large drugstores, making shopping very convenient. There's also a Lawson convenience store near the hotel, which is super handy. The hotel environment is quite good, generally quiet and tidy. There's even a large public bath on the top floor; after a tiring day of shopping, a soak there can really relieve fatigue, and there are self-service massage chairs next to it. The front desk staff were very friendly, warm, and polite. They even kindly helped us call a taxi to the airport, which we really appreciated. We'd definitely stay here again if we have the chance."

"This hotel in Okayama was by far the most comforting and reassuring place I stayed on my trip – I absolutely loved it! It's everything I imagine a Japanese hotel to be: minimalist yet stylish, and impeccably clean. The location right in front of the JR station is super convenient, making it an easy walk without any hassle. Even if it's windy or raining, getting out is no problem at all. I highly recommend this hotel; I'd definitely return to Okayama just to stay here again."

"I booked the cheapest "random room type" and arrived a little past 2 PM, just before check-in. They kindly gave me a super spacious king room with a balcony ahead of time! It's very close to the station, about a 5-minute walk. Across the street from the hotel, on the second floor, there's an izakaya with delicious fried chicken wings! However, if you're uncomfortable with a mirror facing the bed, I wouldn't recommend it, as older hotels with traditional decor often have this setup. You can walk to Korakuen Garden, which takes about 20 minutes if you're fast."
