"This ”Hengmei Hotel” is actually a ”Meilun Hotel” under Huazhu. The staff said Huazhu is still reviewing it and they don't know when it will be approved. 😂...
Facilities: The female version of the delivery robot was a bit malfunctioning; it didn't ring when it arrived at my door. The bathroom glass door's waterproofing strip was missing, allowing water to flow into the hallway. The floor was also non-slip, and I almost slipped twice. The bathroom layout was awkward, with no changing area. There was no refrigerator in the room. The overhead showerhead in the bathroom kept dripping even after use. The bed wasn't the 1.3-meter size stated on the booking page, and a child under 1.3 meters tall wouldn't be able to lie sideways without their feet showing. The plastic film covering the metal panel of the bedside reading light hadn't been removed properly.
Cleanliness: On my first day, the sheets and pillows were stained and had hair on them. The housekeeping lady came to change the sheets, but after she finished, she discovered the new sheets were also stained. The hotel's chosen cleaning company is a bummer. The housekeeping lady was very welcoming and helpful. 👍👍 Great! Later, I found melon seed shells under the washbasin where the towels were placed... The shelf above the tea table was covered in dust... The toilet seat had poop stains.
Front Desk: The front desk ladies on my first day were incredibly friendly and even gave my child a bag of Xinjiang specialties.
Breakfast: The breakfast was terrible. There's no real milk in Xinjiang! It's strange that there's cereal but no real milk! There was a can of Xinjiang salty milk tea, but it was terrible quality. It was clearly made with powdered milk and bland. It tasted like too much water. And they used coffee pods instead of coffee pods. Disappointing!"
