"I stayed for two nights. My expectations for hostels aren't high, but I hope the hostel can address two issues. 1. Turpan is supposedly mosquito-free, but this hostel somehow had mosquitoes. On the first day, I killed one and went to sleep (because I was very tired that day), but woke up in the morning with several bites. The next day, I killed another and was about to go to sleep. I ended up killing at least 10 mosquitoes in a row, and it took me until 3 a.m. to finally fall asleep. I hope the mosquito problem can be addressed, as it can be disruptive to sleep. 2. This hostel has two or three rooms on one floor, sharing one bathroom. So, the bathroom can be quite crowded in the morning and evening, and you have to leave your room to use it, which is sometimes inconvenient for women who come in from outside. The host's service and the surrounding restaurants and supermarkets are quite good."

"What a wonderful place to stay! Even though we arrived very late in the evening, they still cooked dinner for us. The room was spotlessly clean, with lovely decor and had everything we needed. For a peaceful getaway, this is the place. The manager and his family were delightful - so kind, friendly and helpful. After a day out sight-seeing, we loved relaxing on the hotel balcony and looking up at the amazing rock formations only a stone's throw away. We stayed three nights and hope to come back some day. "The showerhead's water output was as shown in the video, but it didn't flush. There was no bottled water in the room, but there was a tap for boiling water. The bedside socket wasn't plugged in tightly, and even placing a hair dryer on it didn't work, and it wouldn't charge. I had to ask the waiter to turn on the TV manually, and then the remote control wouldn't change channels or turn off the TV. The room wasn't soundproof, and someone checking in after midnight was so loud that I woke up."

"Traveled with friends and chose this hotel because it was quite close to the scenic area, and taxis were easily accessible. There's also a small night market street right next to the hotel. Since Turpan gets very hot, the extended checkout until 3 PM was a huge plus; it allowed us to come back, freshen up, and then head out again.
