Woke up to an awful sewer smell in the bathroom that made me almost vomit. Everything else was ok

The hotel’s location is ideal, with key attractions just a few kilometers away. The gym is well-equipped, which was a big plus for me. However, my stay didn’t quite meet 5-star expectations. Check-in took longer than it should have, and I was initially given a smoking room despite requesting a non-smoking one. The smell was unbearable, but the staff did resolve the issue by assigning me a different room after I asked. The room itself was fine, clean and functional, which is the most important thing. While the service had some hiccups, the price is reasonable for what you get. I’d still recommend this place for budget-conscious travelers, just don’t expect a luxury experience.

The hotel looks a bit old and the rooms are not as nice as the lobby is, but the included gym and swimming facilities are top notch. Also the service was great. I had to leave a day earlier due to a conference and I could easily check out a day earlier. All in all really nice.

Hotel had excellent city view. About 15 minutes walking distance from metro station.

The location is great. Not far from the subway stop. It’s near several small restaurants and a tapas restaurant… I stayed here before for just one night (same as this time) and it wasn’t a bad experience. The check in attendant was nice. However, this time, the check-in attendant seemed to be a little girl with an unprofessional demeanor… giggling and not trying to communicate anything to me about the check-in process. As for the room, I know it’s an old hotel but goodness, this room needed renovation and definitely better cleaning. I pulled the curtains and found a used box of viagra pills on the floor… If the room was cleaned properly, the cleaning lady wouldn’t have missed that.

Nanjing has been one of the go to places for me. The hotel is located at the center surrounded with shopping malls.

Not really what I expected from a 5 Star Hotel..The room is old and very noisy..Not well maintain and the staff has no clue on 5 Star standards..Not sure how this hotel get it..I think Trip.com should look at this as it will mislead consumer into booking something else..The lobby looks okay..

Horrible experience. This is not a 5 star hotel whatsover. Dirty, non helping and unpolite staff, noisy, police coming up and down, weird people everywhere. They also lie about their services, more than half of what's showing is unavailable or simply do not exist. Swimming pool, discothèque, etc, etc... On top of it, there's no bacon for breakfast ! Run away from this place !!
