"I recently stayed at Copthorne Cameron Highlands for a short getaway. The location is great—right at Kea Farm, so it’s easy to visit nearby markets and attractions. The cool highland air is a nice bonus.
The rooms were spacious but felt a bit dated and could use some refurbishment. My bed was comfortable enough, but the carpets and furniture looked worn. The bathroom was functional, though not particularly modern. Parking was convenient, though it can get crowded and super jam on weekends.
Overall, it’s an average stay—good for the location and price if you don’t mind older facilities. A decent choice if you’re not too fussy, but there’s room for improvement in maintenance and service."

"Stayed in the duplex room for a family vacation (20–21 June) and it was spacious and comfortable, with a king bed, sofa bed, two bathrooms, and two wardrobes across both levels. Check-in was smooth, and the smart TV in the living room was a nice touch.
The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the facilities. While the breakfast could use more variety, the overall value is great. Note that there’s only an iron room, not individual irons in each room.
The room’s decor gives a nostalgic vibe, and the location is great—just across from a public park and close to a popular steamboat restaurant. This was my second stay here, and I’d consider coming back again."

"2nd time staying in this hotel apartment. I booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Hotel reception is friendly. The apartment is nice, spacious, good water pressure. After we checked in, there are only 2 shower towel for 3 of us. No other towels in the apartment. Called the reception, a few more towels were delivered after 2 calls. There are some eating places below and also across the road. But we took a grab to Brinchamg 3km away to have our steamboat.
Apartment cleanliness I would give a 7/10. The floor is not very clean, luckily they provide slippers. The bedsheet is a little rough and my wife say felt a little itchy. My friend in the other bedroom say the same thing.
Breakfast spread was ok. Food is delicious."

"Beautiful hotel & top notch service and location. However, some cons:
1)Need to climb up 3 flights of stairs (fm outdoor parking) - pretty impossible for handicapped guests
2) I think breakfast need to be upscaled as this is after all a luxury hotel. The food although delicious, is too ordinary & cheap. The buffet spread of just bread/pastries/cereal could be expanded. The fruits at the buffet table were also terrible - only apples & oranges and were of poor quality & grade."

"Was there for two nights.staff was friendly. The room was clean and the location was good .every tourist spot was easily accessible.The Market was near and you will find a lot of varieties of Food there including local food ,Thai food and subcontinent food ."

RrjjyThis is not a hotel. It's more camping. You can experience the aboriginal life in a bamboo house. The bed is very comfortable, and there are many insects but mosquito nets. It depends on whether you like being close to nature. The 6㎡ double room is not a single house, and the 10㎡ quadruple room is a single house, but the toilet is also shared outside. In addition, there are 3 types of 15/18/25㎡ room types with separate bathrooms. The largest has 3 queen-size beds (can accommodate 6 people), and there is also a separate rooftop dining area next to it. You can contact Tanah Rata/Ringlet. Both Chinese and English are available.

But when i opt fr apartment, i was hoping at least basic amenities of washing machine and an oven maybe.
Amenities we got was decent 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with heater but wifi signal bad. However staff service was warm and convenient. Location was good as its quitr centralised.

But if you compare the budget for buying/renting the caravan, renting camping site and all amenities it consider to be fair.
But in overall it worth a try for people who never experience real camping at least to have a little bit of the hassle of real camping.

SSureshLocation: Perfect as middle of Cameron. Easy to access Mall and variety of foods.
Service: Firstly, the owner or management gave wrong location. Secondly, the key was located on P1 post box but lift at P2. Thirdly, at Lift B got 1 lift only, need to wait for very long to go to Homestay.
Cleanliness: No complaint on it.
Facilities: All good as the management prepared food amenities with fridge, cooker and electric stove. Other than that bed and room amenities perfect but the Entertainment system sucks, the TV useless for Indians as only got 1 channel to access other than that the TV and Room Fan remotes malfunctions. The balcony table is not there as on example.
Anyway, i loved the location with surrounding entertaining areas and view from the balcony and window.

I had high hopes for this hotel based on its unique room concept, but after experiencing it, I can confidently say I won't be booking again. The idea of a mini house sounded charming, but the reality was less than ideal.
The biggest issue was the noise and vibration. Every time someone passed by my room during the night, I could hear and feel it. It's not something you'd expect when you're trying to sleep, and it definitely disrupted my rest. The mattress didn’t help much either, as I felt every movement like it was amplified.
Then, come sunrise, the room became like a sauna. I understand that the weather in Cameron Highlands can be warm, but the mini house design trapped heat so effectively that it was uncomfortable in the morning. There was no escape from the warmth, and it made it tough to enjoy the start of the day.
The only redeeming factor for this hotel was its location. It's within walking distance to the famous Pasar Pagi and the bustling market, which was convenient for grabbing fresh produce and local treats. But unfortunately, the experience wasn’t enough to make me want to return.
In short, the concept seemed promising, but the execution fell short in terms of comfort and practicality. Wouldn’t recommend it for a restful stay.
