Amazing
AAnonymous UserGreat staff and a very friendly atmosphere. Love the communal sitting area and the free teas. Also had laundry service which was great. Private and quiet location so it’s a bit more of a walk out but not by much. Only thing is the shower gets the whole bathroom wet and the water isn’t very hot. There was also only one type of soup - separate shampoo and body wash would have been nice.
GGuest UserThis was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience!
We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness.
The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.
AAnonymous UserI had a very pleasant stay at Hotel De’ La Ferns in Cameron Highlands. The hotel has a charming English-style design and a peaceful atmosphere, which is perfect for a relaxing getaway from the busy city.
The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The cool weather in Cameron Highlands made the stay even more enjoyable. The bed was cozy and the facilities in the room were well maintained.
The hotel staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to assist whenever needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and the town area. It is a great place for families, couples, or anyone looking for a quiet holiday in Cameron Highlands.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Hotel De’ La Ferns to anyone visiting Cameron Highlands. I would be happy to stay here again in the future. 🌿🏨
陈陈心妍This hotel in Tanah Rata is great! The environment is lovely and quiet, and the service is decent. The rooms are spacious too. It's only about a 10-minute walk to Starbucks and a Family Mart, which is really convenient. I loved it so much after staying for three days at the end of March that I came back for another night in April!
AAmbiga PanichelvamWe stayed for 2 nights and were glad the hotel was located at Tanah Rata—otherwise, with the heavy traffic that day, we might not have been able to check in around 3 PM. The owner and staff were very friendly, always checking in on us and making sure we were comfortable. The room gave us a nostalgic feeling, as it was well maintained in its classic style, and the whole hotel itself carried that charming old-fashioned look. The atmosphere was cozy, peaceful, and felt like a step back in time. Overall, our stay was excellent, and we truly appreciated the warmth and hospitality.
HHau ChiatI’ve been to Cameron Highlands many times, and every time my family would complain about the room cleanliness.
But this was honestly the best homestay we’ve stayed in so far! Even though it was just for one night, we felt super comfortable. The rooms were really clean and tidy, which made a big difference. We really enjoyed our stay!
We could even see the sunrise in the morning, and it was absolutely beautiful. It made the whole experience even more special.
GGuest UserPros:
1. Strategic location - Walking distance for food and shopping.
2. The staffs are friendly.
3. The room is clean in overall.
Cons:
1. It maybe a concern to light sleepers as it's near to the Cameron Centrum and shop lots, there'll be noises during the night.
2. The slope of parking zone is quite narrow but the good point is 1 complimentary parking space is entitled (Charges be made for additional cars).
In overall, we're satisfied with the stay. 😊
TTini88Not recommend for holiday unless you just want a short stay.
Near roadside and mosque, noisy, can’t sleep well at night
Old hotel, old carpet, shower may a problem, water not hot enough in cold weather.
Difficult to get parking place
The only good thing is strategy location, convenience to get what you want in the Brinchang town.
JjanemoikonStrategic location and the apartment is spacious but a bit old.near pasar malam and shop ..overall ok lah..
But ..
The cleanliness need to improve
Floor is very dirty and sticky, the toilet is slippery as well, there isnt any anti slippery carpet .the curtain is mouldy
There's yellow stains and black stains on blanket bed and carpet. The bed sets are dirty.
The hot water for shower is not functioning well.
TTimentoDiverWe recently spent 3 days and 2 nights at the 3-room apartment in Nova Highlands Hotel, located in the heart of Cameron Highlands. The apartment is spacious and well-suited for families or small groups, offering three separate bedrooms, a living area, and basic kitchen amenities. Its location is convenient, directly above a shopping arcade with eateries, a convenience store, and tourist attractions like the butterfly garden nearby.
Overall, our stay was comfortable, though there are areas for improvement. Cleanliness was average, and some furnishings showed signs of wear. The unit could benefit from better maintenance, particularly in the bathrooms. Noise from the surrounding area can also be heard in the evenings. However, the view from the balcony and the cool mountain air made up for it. It’s a decent, no-frills option for travelers looking for space and accessibility without expecting luxury.
