Mountain view Hotels in Kampot

A very secluded place, the guesthouse is located in a beautiful garden with many mango trees. The location is quiet, as it's away from the city. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We rented a scooter to explore the area. The room is large and spacious, and the bed is comfortable.

The hotel is relatively new and is spotlessly clean. It is beautifully positioned on the bank of the river overlooking the town itself. The location could be seen by some to be a slight negative as you are across from the town- not in the town itself. This however only means a quick 10 minute walk or cheap grab ride. Perhaps the only negative for us was the shower drain was partially blocked and so the recess would fill when showering. A quick use of a plunger would fix this.

I costed me $38 and I stayed here for a night. I came here as a solo traveler and booked a double room with balcony. There was a big pool on the first floor. The location of the hotel was decent, although the road to the hotel was pretty rocky and deserted, kind of in the middle of nowhere and I’m unsure of how safe it is during the night seeing as there’s not many lamp posts. The room is great and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and the room was nicely decorated. You can watch YouTube on the TV but like most hotels the smart TV doesn’t really work properly so Netflix didn’t work. The amenities they offered were enough, they provided a refrigerator, hair dryer and all the other necessities that a standard hotel would provided. Although the bathroom would flood due to how far the drain was from the shower head, you can just move the shower head closer to the drain so it would not flood the whole bathroom. Everything was clean. But there was a minor mosquito problem when I woke up in the morning. Bathroom door lock doesn’t really work properly, butyou just have to pull it a bit harder. The service was great, the staff were helpful and communicative. I got an avocado toast and milk coffee for brunch at the restaurant, it was good. I would come back here when I return to Kampot!

Really a great little hotel: 1. Reply in time to help arrange pick-up and drop-off 2. I cut two fresh iced coconuts when I checked in. The coconut water instantly made people feel happy. The local characteristics of breakfast are really delicious 4. The location is also great, the door is full of night market snacks at night

A fantastic, relaxing spot right by the river. Our room was wonderfully large and spacious, featuring an inviting bathtub. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough hot water to fully enjoy a soak, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that minor hiccup, it was overall a memorable and pleasant stay.

Peaceful Retreat with Excellent Service Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city. The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out. That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.

I was really happy with this place. Great value for such a big clean and quiet room only minutes walk fron the milddle of town, and with more pleasant views than other places I’ve stayed in Kampot. No fridge, no safe, and the internet upstairs wasn’t working BUT no complaints either with the friendly staff, kind manager, and the quietness. I passed my originally scheduled hotel on this trip too and was glad I didn’t stay there because the noise fron the street was astonishing as some loud event (wedding with live band and DJs) made it hard to even hear a tuk tuk engine.

The receptionist was very busy because it was a public holiday in Cambodia. Yet they managed to organised their thoughts and be very hospitable despite so many requests. The room is big enough for our stay and with the door closed, no noise heard from outside.

Very idyllic, not hot at night, no air conditioning in the house, there is a fan, it is very comfortable to sleep with a fan, next to the hotel is the Gomboo River, you can row your own boat, very comfortable, many European and American passengers live here. It is worth a holiday! I hope my evaluation can help you!
