Kampot Hotels with balcony

The stay at the Old Cinema Hotel in Kampot was absolutely unique. This place has an amazing climate combination of the history of the old cinema with modern comfort creates an atmosphere I have never met in any other hotel. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and refurbished in every detail. The service deserves a huge distinction smiley, helpful and always ready to advise what to see in the area. Breakfasts are fresh and really tasty, and the whole facility is perfectly clean and careful. Location is also great: calmly, but only a few minutes walk from the center of Kampot, restaurant and nightlife. It's a hotel with a soul in which you feel like home right away.

We booked the 2-bedroom family suite with a living room. The accommodation was very good: clean and well-equipped. The food at the hotel is excellent: for breakfast, you get a choice of one dish with a juice and a coffee. I really liked the morning kuy tiev, but the portion was a bit small; the other dishes were very good. For dinner, I tried the pepper steak with fries, which was super tasty. The staff is very friendly, smiling, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Château Kampot.

If i have the chance to go to kompot again i would highly recommend this hotel because its so clean and the service was excellent ,besides all of that ,the location of the hotel is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel

I had a wonderful time staying here. The staff were really kind and helpful. I had a problem with the bed light and they sorted it out quickly. The bed was comfortable. The facilities were spacious, clean, and worked. The restaurant food was good and service fast. I would recommend anyone stay here. 10/10.

Great location, everything's a five minute walk away. Front desk and hotel staff are over the top, excellent, amazing beyond all expectations, they were happy to help with every aspect of our trip. Five stars all day long, beautiful little pool, amazing breakfast, massive bathroom, great for couples, a lovely stay, no complaints. Thank you to all.

We have been staying here for 5 days and everything has been amazing. The food and desserts are absolutely delicious, the nature around is beautiful, and the place is very clean. The staff are warm, friendly, and always helpful. There are fun activities like billiards and table tennis, which make the stay even more enjoyable. The people here are very kind and welcoming, you really feel at home. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. What else could you ask for? It’s small beautiful resort in the heart of Kompot. I’ve stayed in various hotels/bungalows/resorts in Kompot, but this one took my heart away. The most special thing is Trip discount is real. Walking price was much more expensive for my booking.

I stayed four nights at Sokchea Kampot Hotel in Kampot. This wasn’t my first time — last year I stayed 10 nights and had a good experience. Unfortunately, this visit felt different. On my first day, after checking in around 3pm and going out for dinner, I returned to find a cockroach walking on my bed — bigger than I would ever want to see. Staff removed it, but it was hard to relax that night. The next day I asked for the sheets to be changed. They only made the bed, and the same stain was still there. After asking a second time and explaining why, they finally replaced them. That same day, there was no proper housekeeping. The bathroom trash was not emptied, and I had to ask for toilet paper as it wasn’t replaced. For a hotel of this type, I don’t think that’s acceptable. There is also construction next to the hotel, with loud noise from 8am to 5pm, making it less relaxing — especially when trying to enjoy the pool, which is probably the hotel’s main positive point

Peaceful Retreat with Excellent Service Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city. The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out. That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.
