Best Kampot Hotels

"I can confidently say this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at so far in Cambodia. It’s located in a very central area, within walking distance to the main attractions. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The air conditioning works perfectly and cools the room very well. There is a smart TV with internet access, and it runs smoothly without any issues. The reception staff are professional and helpful. They clearly know what they’re doing and are always ready to assist. The hotel also provides motorcycle parking. At night, security takes the motorcycles inside and places them back outside in the morning, which I really appreciated from a safety perspective. There is an elevator in the building, which is convenient. This is my second stay at this hotel, and they even recognized me upon check-in. Although check-in is officially at 2 PM, they kindly gave me my room at 12 PM. Hot water is available with no problems. My room also had a balcony, which is great if you want to step outside and get some fresh air. Both the room itself and the bathroom are quite spacious. The price is also very reasonable. Honestly, under these conditions, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in the Kampot area. If you’re looking for a clean, reliable, centrally located hotel without unpleasant surprises, I highly recommend staying here."

"I got there quite late, and the chef was very nice to help me prepare a chicken rice dinner. The lobby felt cozy and warm, and breakfast was immaculate, the chef was nice enough to let me try both the egg Benedict and the avocado toast. I forgot to take pictures of the room but it was identical to the pictures listed on trip.com. The hotel has quite a French colonial aesthetic, their court yard and swimming pool are also very inviting."

"This is a very well priced accommodation but wish we’d known a few things first. There is only a fan in the room which means the room is very warm outside of directly in front of the fan. This did mean we ended up lying side ways on the bed to both reach the fan. The bathroom had mesh across the back so has an outside feel and some outside critters. We had to evacuate a few huge flying beetles across the two nights. It’s a peaceful location further away from Kampot centre than others but there’s always tuk tuks available right out front so isn’t too much of an issue. We probably would stay closer to the centre next time as we prefer to be closer to restaurants, despite the nice views of the river. Showers are okay temp and low pressure but overall fine."

"I had a wonderful experience at KKP Hotel. The cleanliness throughout the property was impeccable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My room offered a fantastic view of the football stadium, which was a great bonus. The bathroom facilities were excellent, with a particularly good shower that made each morning refreshing. The room itself and the bed were among the best I've encountered - truly comfortable and well-appointed. If you're looking for quality accommodations with all the essentials done right, I highly recommend KKP Hotel. It's perfect for travellers who prioritise a great room and excellent service. The hotel does not provide any other services like a pool, bar or restaurant."

"Extremely clean and always having a great smell, the rooms are not getting too hot during the day , so that’s another plus. Cleaning ladies are so friendly and always smiling, really nice atmosphere. Location is good too"

"Montagne Boutique is a quiet and relaxing hotel with a wonderful environment. The hotel is very clean, and the mountain view is absolutely amazing. The pool is perfect for relaxing, and the peaceful surroundings give a calming and refreshing vibe. The architecture and structure of the hotel are beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating a truly serene atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. This was my second time staying here, and it was just as perfect as it looked on Booking. It is still my top choice, and I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended."
