"The price-performance ratio and facilities are indeed better than those of the hotels in the surrounding Yamanaka Lake, but there is a very important point that we found bed bugs in our room. We checked in wearing long socks and went out during the day. After taking a shower at night, I sat by the bed and found two new bites on my ankles with mouthparts marks in the middle. The two small bags arranged linearly were initially thought to be bites from a small snake, but later I checked online and found that they were suspected to be bed fleas (especially popular in Japan). Thinking of the bugs that my partner saw on the bed at night and threw away with a tissue, we checked the pictures of bed fleas online. It was basically 100% certain. I quickly packed my luggage at 11 o'clock in the evening and went downstairs to talk to their clerk. The clerk directly took the insecticide to the room and sprayed it, and said that there were no extra rooms and we could stay there, which meant that we should continue to stay in the room with bed fleas and sprayed with insecticide. I said at the time that I would pay the full check-out fee and I would check in at a cleaner hotel nearby. Unfortunately, during the communication with the boss, it was already past 12 o'clock in the evening, and the local hotels in Mount Fuji could not be booked online. The boss could drive us to find two hotels for that night, but we could not check in. Finally, he arranged for us to spend the night in his friend's hotel. The next morning, he drove us to visit the famous scenic spots in Mount Fuji. But this is far from the end of the story. After we returned to where we lived in Japan, we started to use boiling water to scald clothes and spray disinfectants on luggage (for three consecutive days). However, the number of red and swollen small bags on my body increased by more than ten every day. My body was itchy, and scratching would leave black scars, which affected my appearance. But I could only use the anti-itching ointment like Wubi Di. Now my request is very simple, that is, I want to eliminate these insects from the root. I initially plan to find an insecticide company after returning to Shanghai to conduct a comprehensive cleaning of my clothes and luggage. The boss didn't seem to realize the seriousness of the bed fleas. Two days later (we checked in on the night of May 19, 2025), there were still people staying here. It seemed like how come only you had problems, but no one else did? My room was fine, and the follow-up treatment for me was to quickly ask me to go to the doctor for diagnosis and buy me some medicine. But the problem is that we can basically confirm that it was this kind of bug that bit me. I also found the larvae of this kind of bug on my clothes several times. I can also buy medicine, and it doesn't cost much, but the store has no attitude on how to completely eliminate the bed fleas I was infected with. They think this is the root problem. After all, I don't want to bring this kind of bug back to my country and pass it on to my family and my own home. My clothes are also very expensive, and to be honest, I don't want to destroy these clothes again. The boss's attitude on that day was indeed very good, but things like bed fleas will bring endless follow-up problems. I hope he can take this responsibility. We chose to post this review, not to blame the hotel, but to prevent the subsequent guests from suffering the same experience as us, which was very painful both physically and mentally, and to make the hotel pay attention to the problem of killing insects. We don’t know how much physical and economic losses the bed flea crisis we are suffering now will bring us. For us, the travel has suffered an unexpected disaster, and I believe that for the hotel, the business has also suffered an unexpected disaster, but there is no way, we must solve the root cause of the bugs, whether it is for the guests who are still in the hotel or have already left the hotel, it is a manifestation of responsibility."

Please spend a special time filled with relaxation in a ryokan that incorporates abundant blessings of nature.

"Very cool Onsen! Super beds and room facilities. The hotel's feature is that it is located next to Fuji. The place is great for a quiet and secluded holiday. The price for breakfast and dinner is not adequate. This is definitely not a 5-star hotel. Luxury 3 stars in terms of facilities. Excellent staff at work. Clean and cozy. The cost does not meet expectations at all. If the price was at least 30 percent less (90 thousand rubles for 2 nights) it would definitely be a solid 5 out of 5."

"First luxury camping experience, highly recommended! Complete facilities, including open-air bath and sauna. The ingredients for breakfast and dinner are sufficient, but the quality of the meat is average. We purchased additional ingredients at a nearby supermarket. Camping in the Martian sky at night is a good experience for children! In addition, the campground is very close to the famous scenic spot of Lake Yamanaka, and it only takes about ten minutes to drive~ Pay to check in early and enjoy the sunset~ Will come again if I have the chance!"

"I took the bus from Kawaguchiko and it was not far to get here after getting off the bus. I felt very stable when I came here, and that night was also the best night of rest in this trip. This is a feeling and experience that commercial hotels can't give you. Of course, this also depends on what you are pursuing. The boss is an old man. Check-in is at 5 pm. If you arrive early, you can put your luggage first and go to see the scenery. The water view and Mount Fuji are right at the door. To quote an online article, ”There are people living deep in the middle of the mountain, and the prosperity is far away from the mountains and water.” It's worth it."

BbazingaaheySo lucky to have booked this house! The house is right next to Lake Yamanaka, and you can see the lake through the window. The owner is super super super nice. She drove to the platform to pick us up and finally sent us to the station. The next morning, she got up early and drove us to the lake to watch the sunrise of Mount Fuji. She also found a good angle on the mountain to stop and let us take pictures. The aunt told us about the check-in spots around and lent us her bicycle to go around the lake, which made our experience full. Next time I go to Mount Fuji, I will book the aunt's hotel~ I will also recommend it to my friends who are going to Mount Fuji!

もちやI stayed in a room with a view of Mt. Fuji. Around 6am, I was able to see a beautiful view of Lake Yamanaka after walking for about 5 minutes from the pension. This pension is run by a husband and wife team and offers a relaxing atmosphere with a homely atmosphere. The room itself is a sleeping environment with only minimal amenities. There are hand towels, but I didn't see any bath towels, so please bring your own if you need one. If you want to eat a convenience store bento or other meal, you can rent a table in the dining room on the first floor, so you don't have to worry about it. Microwave, water, boiling water, refrigerator, toilet, and washroom are shared. You can take a bath until 11 o'clock. It was cheap so the cost performance is good. I would like to use it again if I have a chance to go nearby.

GGuest UserThe best location to see Mount Fuji. Rooms 102 and 101 are facing Mount Fuji. The living room and dining room are downstairs, and there are two rooms upstairs. Although there are five beds that can accommodate 10 people, one bed is in the attic, which is very inconvenient. There is only one bathroom on the second floor, so it is best for 4 people. However, the view from the room is so good that the 5 of us were very happy to stay there. The hygiene is good and the facilities are very complete. The surrounding area is relatively deserted, and there are convenience stores and small restaurants about a 10-minute walk away.

Kky917The location of the hotel is relatively remote, but it is no problem if you travel by car. The design and decoration of the hotel are very fashionable, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is quiet, and you can see deer, kittens, etc. The hotel has two private hot springs for bathing. You can use it by making an appointment with the staff. The basic ladies' toiletries are all available, and the hair dryer is from Dyson✨ The hotel staff were very helpful and patient. I had a problem with my car when I was traveling by car. I needed to call the local police and get a report for insurance compensation. Thanks to the staff who always helped me communicate in Japanese, it made things a lot easier and saved me a lot of worry. 👍All the staff are very helpful. Although I only stayed for one night, I felt very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. Although Lake Kawaguchi is more popular, Lake Yamanaka is also good. It is close to Shiratorihama and you can have close contact with many swans😆

TTayen ZGood value for money, the room is simple, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is very beautiful, the location is equivalent to a villa complex in the suburbs of China, there are few people and it is quiet, it is very suitable for people who like to travel on two legs and families who drive here. The hostess is great, she answered all my questions and taught me how to sort garbage. I stayed there for one night and then climbed Mount Fuji. I climbed to the top on my birthday and came back to stay. I came down the mountain to catch the bus very late and didn’t have time to eat. My feet couldn’t walk anymore. The hostess saw that I was alone and helped me cook a bowl of birthday longevity noodles in the middle of the night. It was so warm. By the way, I like the layout of the public area!
