劈柴Since all other room types were unavailable, we stayed in a 6-person room. It was incredibly spacious, and pretty much every room offered an unobstructed view of Mount Fuji (weather permitting). The bathroom was huge and even had a private onsen and a sauna. Each room type came with dinner (BBQ) and breakfast for two. The portions were decent, though don't expect too much from the breakfast. The location is great, very close to Lake Yamanaka's attractions, only about a 10-minute drive away. There's also a fairly large supermarket right next door, just a minute's drive, which was super convenient for restocking. However, due to the glamping site's location, you can't see the sunrise with Mount Fuji in the same frame. I had planned to wake up early to catch the sunrise, but it turns out the sun rises on the opposite side. Overall, aside from being a bit pricey, everything else was perfect. The staff were very nice, and their English communication was excellent.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Fuji Yamanakako. The view is truly 10/10 — we could see Mount Fuji directly from the villa, and waking up to such a breathtaking scenery every morning was an unforgettable experience. The location is perfect, with Lake Yamanakako just a 1-minute walking distance, making it very convenient for morning walks and enjoying the peaceful lakeside atmosphere.
The villa itself was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. One of the highlights was the fully furnished kitchen — there were plenty of utensils, plates, pots, and cooking tools available, which allowed us to prepare and enjoy our own breakfast easily. It really felt like a home away from home.
The environment was quiet, relaxing, and ideal for anyone looking to escape the busy city and enjoy nature, especially with the stunning view of Mount Fuji right in front of you. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
We highly recommend Villa Fuji Yamanakako to anyone visiting the Fuji area. It is a perfect place for families, couples, or friends who want a comfortable stay with an incredible view. We would definitely love to come back again in the future!

A very satisfying stop on my trip, Lake Yamanaka! Perfect scenery, excellent accommodations, and excellent meals. I highly recommend booking breakfast and dinner here. Swan Lake and the Hippo Bus Station are right outside, and I even encountered a deer. The teahouse owner was incredibly nice, driving us to a stunning viewpoint of Mount Fuji and giving us delicious peaches before we left. It's also very convenient to Tokyo, with the express bus station a two-minute walk away.

We booked a mountain view room. When we opened the window, we could see a forest. We could barely see Mount Fuji through the gaps in the forest, so we didn't really need to worry about the mountain view or anything else. The quilt looked old, but it was still clean.
There is a free hot spring, the pool is not big, and it is on the second floor.

Definitely one of the best stays during my Japan trip so far. The host Leslie was super friendly and welcoming, he walked us through everything we needed to know and even gave us a little tour of the place.
The highlight for me was definitely the three different types of onsen (something I was really looking forward to!), and the rooms were clean, spacious, and really comfortable.
He even drove us to the nearest convenience store when he found out we hadn’t had dinner yet, which was such a kind gesture. Breakfast the next morning (Western-style) was amazing too.
Would 200% come back again!

The room did not match the photo I booked. I like the one with two windows, I chose this hotel because of the picture.
It turns out that there are two different room models at the same price. Although we asked to change to the same room model as the one in the picture I booked, and we were the only guests in the entire hotel, the hotel refused to cooperate. It is indeed a bit unhuman.
The bathhouse does not provide yukata. The bathhouse is private by reservation, but it can only be used on the first day. It is not open on the second day. It's a pity that I can't take a bath in the morning in early spring.
The hotel is very new and everything else is very good. The location is quiet and the staff are quite friendly.
It's just a rule, a bit rigid

Guest UserIt is cooler than Tokyo and Kyoto. It is 39 degrees over there. The highest here is only 28 degrees. It is very cool. The cold water is bitterly cold. It is like snow water. This hotel does not have air conditioning. When the local temperature exceeds 28 degrees, choose carefully. It is estimated that the probability is not large. There is a staff member throughout the whole process. He is in the morning and evening. The people are very good. Our breakfast is also included. He also made it. The toast is very crisp and it is more warm and delicious than other hotel breakfasts. The environment is very good, personally like it, there is a kitchen, refrigerator, suitable for a few more days on vacation. Go out and walk for 10 minutes to walk to the lake to shoot Mount Fuji. I also encountered a small 🦌 on the road. It was very cute and there should be many animals nearby. It's dark at night, don't go around.

This is a very old Japanese-style hotel with outdated facilities. Check-in was at 3 PM, and we arrived at noon to drop off our luggage, but there was no one at the front desk, which startled us. We were only able to drop off our luggage after seeing the hotel manager. The hotel is located by Lake Yamanaka, and although it's close to Asahigaoka Station, it's inconvenient to walk along a small path from the station with luggage. Also, you can't see Mount Fuji. The hotel offers self-service bicycles for rent. The onsen (hot spring) was too hot to soak in. The only good thing was the dinner, which was Wagyu beef and very delicious. When we left, the owner even drove us to Asahigaoka Station. It's more suitable for those with a car. If you're looking for a new hotel, don't consider this old-fashioned one. However, if you want to experience traditional Japanese style, you can give it a try.

From the room, you can see Mount Fuji. It is very fast to go to the shore of Hirano. If you want to see the morning sunshine in Jinshan, you can open the curtains to see the clarity of Mount Fuji today and then decide whether to go downstairs. There is a private bathroom in the room. The room is large and the hotel is not new overall. You have to carry your luggage upstairs without elevator. It takes7-8 minutes to drag your luggage from Hirano bus station to the hotel.
