AAnonymous UserThis is a family-run inn run by an elderly couple. The rooms are very clean and tidy. We booked a Japanese-style room with a warm and soft quilt on the tatami. We don't have to worry about not getting used to it. We can see Swan Lake and Mount Fuji from our room (if the weather is good). Grandpa and grandma run this inn very attentively. When we went there that day, it happened to be the Yamanakako Fireworks Festival. Grandpa and grandma introduced this event to us and gave us free tickets. It was a bit rainy that day, so grandpa lent us an umbrella and drove us to the event venue. The drone show and fireworks were beautiful! He also said that if we wanted to watch the red leaf festival at night and the sunrise in the morning, he could drive us there. The hot spring in the public bath was very comfortable. After washing my body, I soaked in it and all the fatigue of the day disappeared~
The location is only four minutes away from Hirano Beach, which is very convenient if you want to watch the sunrise at Yamanakako.
In terms of transportation, we took the express bus from Shinjuku, Tokyo, all the way to the terminal: Yamanakako Hirano. After getting off the bus, it takes five minutes to walk to the B&B. There is a 711 next to Hirano Station and there are also some restaurants nearby. You can check the business hours on Google Maps and choose one.
YYaang LiuVery comfortable and spacious place. Recommend.
The landlord is friendly. He showed the flexibility and delivered my breakfast in advance in the night, which enabled me to depart to the Fuji mountain for a long distance and time consuming trail early in the next morning.
GGuest UserOverall very satisfied. The location is next to Lake Yamanaka, very quiet. There are Chinese staff in the hotel, communication is barrier-free. When I went there, I almost couldn't buy a ticket. The staff helped me to find tickets for nearby stations and arrived smoothly. They also provided pick-up and drop-off services, which is very important because it is not convenient to take a taxi here... The hotel has electric power-assisted bicycles, which are 1,000 yen cheaper than those on the street. This car helped a lot. You can see Mount Fuji a few steps from the hotel entrance, and you can see the red Fuji in the morning. The hotel is a bit old, but the facilities are clean and simple, and it is quite comfortable overall.
GGuest UserThe hotel has a pleasant scenery, and you can directly see Mount Fuji. It is a few steps away from the most beautiful camera position of Lake Yamanaka. Many people take wedding photos here, which is very beautiful. The facilities are complete and new, very suitable for family travel. Three bad points: First, public transportation is not convenient, and it is not easy to call a taxi to go or leave. Second, the hotel check-in is very troublesome. You have to fill in your personal details on the iPad one by one, and the Japanese customer service staff must confirm it remotely. It is a bit difficult to communicate. Their English level is really hard to describe. Third, it is recommended to stay in rooms 101 and 102. Rooms 103-104 are pet-friendly. The sofa on the first floor is very dirty, with obvious pet traces, and the second floor is relatively clean
GGuest UserThe location is near the mountain lake, the facilities are complete, there are parking spaces, the room has a separate toilet and bathroom, the wet and dry separation is very good, there is an induction cooker for cooking, and you can barbecue the stars, opposite to Mount Fuji.
Ttolyazek@mail.ruWe stayed here for 4 nights in April 2024. The location is very convenient, the bus station is nearby. The embankment is also very close. We had a great time in Yamanakako. You can rent a bicycle nearby and ride around the lake. The places around are very beautiful and calm. The owners try very hard. They keep it clean and prepare delicious breakfasts. There is also a small onsen for residents. There is a shared toilet on the floor. You can wash yourself in it and take a steam bath. In terms of price-quality ratio 5 out of 5.
TTayen ZGood value for money, the room is simple, clean and tidy, the surrounding environment is very beautiful, the location is equivalent to a villa complex in the suburbs of China, there are few people and it is quiet, it is very suitable for people who like to travel on two legs and families who drive here. The hostess is great, she answered all my questions and taught me how to sort garbage. I stayed there for one night and then climbed Mount Fuji. I climbed to the top on my birthday and came back to stay. I came down the mountain to catch the bus very late and didn’t have time to eat. My feet couldn’t walk anymore. The hostess saw that I was alone and helped me cook a bowl of birthday longevity noodles in the middle of the night. It was so warm. By the way, I like the layout of the public area!
