To my surprise, the room had an emergency comfort kit, and the butler even brought a warm ginger tea to my room. I was instantly moved to tears 🥹. The thoughtful details showed such gentle care. The Naxi hot pot for dinner had a rich, warming broth – so delicious! Loved it! 😋 The room was surprisingly clean! Here, you can immerse yourself in Naxi culture and be wonderfully looked after. It's truly a hidden gem in Lijiang! I'll definitely bring my family next time 🥰

Baisha | This Guesthouse at the Foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Took Such Good Care of Me I highly recommend everyone who isn't interested in commercialized ancient towns (yes, I'm looking at you, Lijiang Old Town) to head straight to Sun-Kissed Mountain just outside Baisha Ancient Town in Lijiang. The rooms are truly exceptional. All room types start from 70 square meters and perfectly embody what a 'scenic view room' should be – a whole wall of floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, allowing you to gaze at fields and snow-capped mountains right from your bed. Even while sitting on the tatami to eat or drink tea, there’s a small window offering a beautiful view outside. There's also a long narrow window by the bed, so you can just turn your head slightly to see a vast expanse of blue sky and white clouds. The moment I saw this view upon entering, I immediately messaged all my friends to recommend it. A group of young people runs the place, with both cats and dogs, creating a warm community-like atmosphere. They created a service group chat with 11 people, and apart from me, everyone else was staff. From breakfast to afternoon tea to late-night sweet soup, all my food and drink needs were anticipated and delivered directly to my room. The drinks, in particular, were picture-perfect and really boosted my mood. Breakfast is served until 11 am, so after eating, you don't even need to think about lunch; just wait for afternoon tea. For the private hot spring, they help set up disposable bathtub liners and provide various bubble bath salts. They also give advance notice about the probability and timing of the 'golden mountain' sunrise (when the sun illuminates the snowy peaks) for the next day. There’s a six-seater commercial van shuttle service to Baisha Ancient Town, making things very convenient. The facilities are also top-notch: washing machine, garment steamer (yes, you read that right), oxygen machine, projector, humidifier, Bose sound system, and Kohler bathroom fixtures – absolutely everything you could ask for.

This hotel is truly unique, and both the rooms and common areas are impeccably clean! The staff are all incredibly genuine and sincere, providing excellent service. As long as their car was available, they'd offer us rides whenever we left the hotel. They even proactively gave us oxygen tanks and Snickers bars when they knew we were going to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area! My kids also loved the hotel activities like fruit picking, handicrafts, and horse riding! We had unlimited drinks every day, and the coffee was delicious. The hotpot included in the package was also very generous – we couldn't even finish it all! The only drawback is the external environment. The hotel is located in the very natural Yuhu Village, quite close to a pasture, so there are a lot of flies. Eating in the restaurant while constantly swatting flies was the only unpleasant part of our experience. The 'Stone House' still has room for improvement, and I hope you continue to get even better!

I originally came for the terrace and the snow-capped mountain view, but I was deeply touched by the warm atmosphere and all the thoughtful details! Before check-in, they proactively contacted me and sent all relevant information like the address, directions, and activities. They always offered to help with luggage, greeted me warmly whenever I came and went, and thoughtfully asked if I needed transportation or meals. It wasn't just commercial politeness; you could feel that they were genuinely good and sincere people! 🌄 The rooms with a second-floor terrace have an absolutely stunning view. You can see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise and sunset right from your room, with the snow-capped mountains practically at your fingertips when you're lying in bed. All the pictures were taken in the room with my phone! Absolutely amazing! I also stayed in a triangular vaulted room and loved the ceiling design! I slept incredibly well! The room photos are exactly what you get; absolutely no misleading pictures! 🍈 The day I arrived, as soon as I settled in, afternoon tea was delivered to my room. It wasn't some perfunctory pre-made stuff; there was delicious ice cream cake and fragrant rose tea! On my last day, I had to leave for the snow mountain before dawn and would miss breakfast, so the night before, the lady prepared a take-out breakfast and delivered it to my room – super thoughtful! After a day of playing, I didn't have an appetite for afternoon tea, so they brought me a full plate of fresh fruit. I was so touched! Every detail shows their sincerity! 🏘️ The hotel is not in the city center, so it's very quiet! During the day, the hotel can arrange transport to the city center, and it's also easy to get a taxi if you go out yourself. Baisha is a small town, different from the hustle and bustle of Lijiang, but it's quiet and convenient. A short walk takes you to the ancient town, and barbershops and convenience stores are all nearby. Because of this hotel, I love this small town even more!!!

This time, I was traveling with my parents and children, and I deliberately avoided the noisy Old Town of Dayan. I took my friend's recommendation and chose this guesthouse in Yuhu Village, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The guesthouse is right next to the village parking lot, making self-driving and parking incredibly convenient. My parents and the kids didn't have to walk far when getting in and out of the car. The entire guesthouse only has six rooms, so it's quiet with few people, offering maximum privacy. It was exceptionally comfortable to stay here. The owner was very enthusiastic and provided us with detailed travel tips. The courtyard is elegantly and cozily decorated. Even on a rainy day, sitting in the courtyard, sipping tea and chatting, gazing at the surrounding mountain scenery, felt incredibly relaxing. The guesthouse also has a coffee area and a restaurant. The local dishes recommended by the owner were authentic and made with fresh ingredients; both the elderly and children thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The rooms were clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and complete facilities. Our family rested very peacefully. The owner and staff were warm and kind, always ready to help promptly with any needs, providing truly attentive service. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, enjoying a slow-paced time at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, this place is especially suitable for a relaxing family vacation. Taohua坞 Ranch 🎯 Absolutely stole my heart! ❤️ Who understands the feeling of heading to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain with high hopes, only to be met with a downpour? The entire mountain was completely hidden by thick fog, not even a peek of the snowy peaks. I was genuinely disappointed, but thankfully I booked the Melting Snow Mountain Taohua坞 B&B, which completely made up for the bad weather's letdown 🌧️ I thought the rain would just trap me in my room, but to my surprise, the B&B has its own huge ranch with so many activities, I couldn't sit still! The vast, flat meadows paired with distant mountains and mist created an incredible misty, atmospheric vibe. Photos taken here naturally have a soft-focus filter. There are tons of outdoor options: you can go boating 🚣, horseback riding, archery 🏹, or even fruit picking~ The wet meadows on a rainy day are surprisingly therapeutic. Slowly soaking in the relaxed mountain wilderness, every casual shot turns into an atmospheric travel masterpiece. When you're tired from playing outdoors, duck into the handicraft workshop. You can experience making fridge magnets, tie-dye, and traditional local ethnic crafts like Jiamas~ Quietly making unique handicrafts, with the misty mountains outside the window and peace and comfort inside, you can slowly settle your travel emotions. The slow-paced, rainy-day vibe is perfectly captured here. No need to rush between different attractions; an entire ranch belongs to you. No crowded tourists, just grasslands, forests, and gentle mountain breezes. Even if I didn't get to see the snow mountain as planned, I found a unique kind of Lijiang mountain romance here. From the room, opening the window reveals the entire ranch. The wooden cabin is warm and healing, and the air after the rain is full of the fresh scent of grass and trees. Instead of fixating on checking off popular snow mountain spots, come here to immerse yourself in slow travel. For sisters worried about not seeing scenery during the rainy season in Lijiang, this place is a must-book!

Honestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan. From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking. The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations. The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away. What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. First off, the guesthouse's ambiance is truly wonderful, completely living up to my imagination of Lijiang Old Town! The courtyard is beautifully maintained, with flowers and plants artfully arranged. Sitting there, sipping tea and soaking up the sun, was incredibly relaxing. The room decor also features strong local characteristics, with wooden structures and ethnic soft furnishings. It was very quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. The only slight drawback was that the facilities felt a little outdated. For instance, the heating in the room was quite slow to react, and the water temperature and pressure for showering at night were a bit inconsistent. I hope the owner can gradually upgrade these. Also, there was no proactive cleaning service during my stay, which can be a bit inconvenient for guests staying multiple days. It would be perfect if there could be a simple tidying up each day. However, these minor issues don't overshadow the positives. Tingxueju's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere, and the owner is very warm and welcoming, offering many great travel tips. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Lijiang, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a peaceful environment!

When my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
