Wanting a nice and comfortable hotel for our trip to Lijiang, I checked out many options before finally choosing this one. Great value for money, you can see the golden sunrise on the snow mountain, and they also serve afternoon tea. The breakfast was also very rich.

This guesthouse truly exceeded my expectations! It's run by a local Naxi family, and it boasts a unique design style with surprises around every corner. From the comfortable beds to the carefully selected decorations, every detail reflects the owners' dedication. We even had a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains from our room, which was an amazing experience. We also got to try the owner's exceptional Pu'er tea, whose fragrant aroma made us feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed. Furthermore, every staff member at the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming. The guesthouse auntie even took us to experience digging for sweet potatoes, making us feel right at home. The host's professional advice enriched our trip significantly. Next time I'm in Lijiang, I will definitely choose Ma'an Linlu again!

This hotel is quite secluded with extensive grounds and diverse design styles, creating an overall natural and relaxed atmosphere. The weeping willow trees are incredibly beautiful, exuding vitality and hope. The service was excellent. Our butler, Lucy, was professional and attentive, even preparing flowers and a cake beforehand, which added a wonderful sense of occasion. Dinner ingredients were mostly sourced locally, and the dishes were hearty and delicious. You could tell the menu was thoughtfully designed and executed. The only downside was the room type. It's so popular that my initial bookings for 2 nights in the Ancient Town Snow Mountain Room and 2 nights in the Snow Mountain Courtyard Room both sold out during the confirmation process. I ended up in a Mountain View Room. The actual view, as pictured, was vastly different from what was advertised on Ctrip. I even suspected I had been downgraded. The view was worse than the garden-view rooms downstairs, directly facing a neighboring bedroom, and another room's bedroom to the left. It felt a bit disappointing. The balcony could only fit two people and had a large spiderweb! I'm not sure if this was meant to emphasize the hotel's natural feel, so it wasn't cleaned. We had to retreat indoors, but the bedroom lacked privacy, so we couldn't open the curtains. The hotel doesn't have a spa or a TV, so it can get a bit boring after a while. Make sure to confirm the actual room situation before booking.

The butler service was incredibly attentive too. Even the wind seems to slow down here. The hotel environment is particularly quiet, there is no commercialization, the noise gives me a big surprise, the room is large, the floor-to-ceiling balcony door is very light, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain bubble pool outside the window is also great, the academy courtyard is very good, there is a tea tree in the lobby for more than 200 years, waiting for a large projection on the roof at night, Ahua has a gentle and caring attitude, and will help in time when encountering problems. The hotel is very suitable for a quiet holiday, away from the flow of people and relax.
