Mountain View Hotels in Jiangkou

This is really the best hotel closest to the East Gate of Fanjing Mountain, with a great value for money! It only takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the entrance of the East Gate Scenic Area, and you can walk there after breakfast in the morning. On the way from the East Gate, I met the housekeeper No. 007 Xiaoman who brought guests to buy tickets. He helped us carry our luggage to the room and told us the precautions for going to Fanjing Mountain. He was super meticulous and the service was great. Thank you so much! There is a stream and a forest outside the hotel window, and the air is fresh. You can also take a walk inside the hotel. The breakfast is quite rich and there are many choices. In short, I highly recommend everyone to experience it!

The boss is very enthusiastic and the environment is very clean. We will arrange a parking space for you in advance. The parking space is right at the door of the B&B, which is very convenient. Trekking poles will be provided for free and you will be reminded at what time in the morning to line up to go up the mountain.

This is a gem of a bed and breakfast establishment. We were upgraded to a family style room upon arrival. The room was very large for the two of us. The room was located on the third floor and there is no elevator, but the host graciously carried our luggage to our room. The proximity of the accommodation to the Fangjian Mountain enables us to reach the park area before most other tourists coming from the nearby cities. We were already on our way down the mountain when we see the huge lines of people waiting for the buses and cable cars to come into the park. The accommodation itself is quite impressive. The host and hostess did a good job of renovating to include all the modern amenities of a 5 stars hotel. I would definitely recommend this place!

Although a good location and a nice room, the hotel is not equipped to host foreign guests. There is a lack of willingness to help. When you ask for help in booking a taxi, they give you a number and tell you to do it yourself. This is not the service I expect from a hotel at that price. I have never encountered a hotel so unwilling to help in any way. They did not help us to buy tickets for the mountain (which considering they are next to, is the one service they should provide! Every other hotel we have visited on our tour has helped us with attraction tickets). Foreigners cannot buy tickets without a Chinese ID. However, the hotel insisted we buy advance tickets, so we got a friend to help us instead. This was the wrong information: we were able to buy tickets on the day and could not use a friend’s ID! It is unacceptable to have such little information about the one tourist site next door; the only reason guests are staying in this remote location. Our check-in also took longer than usual, and breakfast is apparently a ‘tour group’ style breakfast voucher. All in all, a disappointing stay. However as the hotel has a great location and nice rooms, this is easily fixable.

It's probably the best hotel near Fanjingshan, but awkwardly located in Jiangkou which is again not so convenient to town for food as the hotel has very limited choice. The resort obviously suffered from being mothballed during the covid lockdown and someway to recovery.

The room is large, better decorated than Hampton by Hilton, clean and well stocked with supplies. At 9:30 in the evening, there are also late-night snacks such as porridge, tea, egg cakes, etc., which makes our stomachs comfortable for those of us who are not used to Guizhou cuisine. The front desk staff has a very good attitude and is responsive to all requests. The breakfast is rich and full of variety. There is also a laundry room where you can wash clothes by yourself. The only drawback is that the sewer pipe in the pool in the room is leaking, and the bath water in the room on the fifth floor is a bit small.

The location is very easy to find according to the navigation. There is a parking space at the door for about five cars. The surrounding environment is very good, built against the mountains. The boss and his father are very nice and very honest locals. Because we had a stomachache on the first night, they upgraded our room for free on the second and third days. They also thoughtfully introduced cheap and easy-to-use stomach medicine. It is very close to the east gate of the scenic spot, and the street outside the entrance is full of eating places, which is very convenient.

The mountain was closed when I went there, so I was not able to enter the scenic spot. The merchant also informed me in advance, which was a bit regretful. It's probably because there weren't many people around. The entire surrounding hotels were empty and there wasn't much to eat. The air conditioner in the room is not powerful. After blowing it all night, there is no heat at all. It is really not suitable to go there in winter. After the snow fell around the scenic area, it was really beautiful, very beautiful.

The hotel is very close to the entrance of Fanjishan park ,just 10 minutes walking .The room was very comfortable, with the characteristics of a five star hotel, the breakfast was very good, particularly the noudols soup with mushrooms and peanuts and the bao buns both sweet and savory. All the staff were exceptional showing kindness and caring took care of us: the cook who cooked the soup at the moment, the maid who washed our clothes for free and above all the hotel manager Ao Bo who overcame every language barrier and took care of anything we needed in the room and in general in the village during our stay, and finally arranged a taxi for us to Tongren station. The room is clean and tidy, and you can see the owner's care. The room facing the street is also quiet and I slept very well. The homestay is very close to the entrance of Fanjingshan Scenic Area, making it convenient to enter the park. The boss is very nice and the service is attentive. He also gave me hiking gloves before I left, which is very thoughtful.
