GGuest UserThe B&B I carefully selected is great: the small building is located at the foot of the mountain. The architectural style combines modern simplicity without losing the local folk customs. It is backed by green mountains and surrounded by swaying bamboos. There is a swimming pool in front of the door, and there is a small bridge and flowing water when you go out. There is a treasure ”jelly-colored” water area a hundred meters away, which is convenient for children to play in the water after climbing the mountain. Adults can sit on the rocks in the shade and dip their feet in the water. In the stream, all worries and fatigue disappear. When you return to the B&B, the owner will cut watermelon, make tea, and prepare special handmade summer sparkling drinks. The creek is rising, the breeze is blowing on my face, the moon is setting and the sky is filled with stars, that's probably it.

GGuest UserThe riverside right by the entrance is simply enchanting. Waking up and pulling back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by a soft mist cloaking the distant views and the river, truly like a wonderland. A stroll down to the riverbank was incredibly invigorating. I'll definitely return for another stay if time permits. It happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival, and the owner thoughtfully prepared Zongzi (rice dumplings) and the local specialty, Miancai Ba, early that morning. It gave me such a heartwarming, home-away-from-home feeling.

RRaghunath C G NairAmazing! Fascinating! Fanjingshan was the final stop of our memorable 10-day tour of Guizhou Province, and we truly could not have chosen a better place to conclude our journey. We felt genuinely blessed to stay at this lovely guesthouse for three nights. From the very beginning, the owner Mr. Zhang Haotian and his family made us feel completely at home; they were warm, engaging, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are tastefully designed and thoughtfully laid out, perfectly sized for comfort. Our room offered a soothing view of the river, along with a private balcony; an ideal spot to relax with your favourite tea or coffee. The modern touches were impressive too, especially the high-tech sensor toilet, which added a pleasant surprise. The three-storey guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, a thoughtful convenience for guests with heavy luggage or those who may find climbing stairs challenging. Dinner, lovingly cooked by the family, was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that reflected both their hospitality and culinary skill. Every meal felt homely and satisfying. We only wish we had taken more and better photographs of the guesthouse. Without a doubt, this is one place we will return to. As for the enchanting Fanjing Mountain itself, the owner drove us to the scenic area entrance. He even offered to pick us up later, but we chose to walk back instead, enjoying the cool climate. Fanjing Mountain is magical in its own right. The steep cable car ride to the summit, which takes over 20 minutes, was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges stretching endlessly around us. At the top stands the age-old Buddhist temple, serene and awe-inspiring, perfectly harmonising with its natural surroundings. We loved the guesthouse, we are very grateful to Mr. Zhang and his family for their kindness, and deeply thankful for the unforgettable experience at Fanjing Mountain. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable journey.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located at the entrance to the road leading to the fanjingshan scenic area. It will take you around a 15mins walk or so to reach the tourist centre where you can purchase your tickets to enter the park. The hotel is mostly aurrounded by fellow hotels and restaurants and a tiny weeny convenience stall just beside the hotel. The plump lady receptionist might sound crude but she is extremely friendly and helpful. The reception area is sparse but the room is defintely okay.not many guests when i was staying there. It is worth a stay though there is nothing much to do around the area and if your aim is just to visit fanjingshan

Before choosing a place, I hesitated about whether to stay closer to the scenic area entrance, but based on my experience, I would recommend staying directly in the village. It's more physically demanding for hiking, and meals are more convenient. The owner can pick you up and drop you off at the scenic area entrance. We also found out after arriving that you can arrange pick-up and drop-off services in Tongren city in advance, and the price is slightly cheaper than taking a taxi. The owners are very easy to talk to, so there's no need to worry about any disputes. Although the facilities aren't particularly high-end, it's worth the price.

GGuest UserIf you want to be up at Fanjingshan before the crowds arrive, staying at Longting Courtyard is the right decision. When you artived at Fanjingshan Tourist centre, Longting boss will pick you up and bring you to buy the entrance ticket for tomorrow hike. And then bring you to Longting Courtyard to check in. Next morning, the lady boss will cook up a bowl of delicious noodles soup for you to fuel up. Then the boss will bring you to check in at the Entrance. After that you will board the sight seeing shuttle bus up to the cable car station. Fanjingshan is all yours to explore before the crowds arrive. If you need transport from Tongren Railway Station to Fanjingshan Tourist centre, Longting lady boss will provide you with the driver contact number. One way is 35 yuan. The room is comfortable and spacious enough for us and they are clean. We are happy with our choice of staying at Longting.

Cleanliness: The rooms were large and very clean. Environment: The courtyard was beautiful, with dogs and turtles. Facilities: The facilities were new, and the TV was huge – perfect for watching from bed. Location: Very convenient, just a few steps from the village entrance. Thumbs up to the owners! They were incredibly welcoming ❤️ They provided us with all sorts of travel tips and even helped wash our dirty clothes 🥹 We'll definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserA hidden gem! This resort type of hotel is so rare in the area. We opted for this hotel for the gorgeous courtyard type of layout. The hotel deserves the attention and my lengthy review as the architect/ designer has such an exquisite taste which shows off in the smallest details. The select of burl wood trims with marble patterns, stylish lighting fixtures… Rooms are spacious and full of technology. Bathroom with heat floor and even ironized glass which offers instant privacy with a click of a button. This hotel alone is worth couple nights of stay where one could plan a getaway from the city life and fully immerse themselves in the hotel’s garden trails. This hotel is great for tourists who prioritize monetary value as It’s essentially a five star luxury resort for a fraction of the price. However, for those who enjoy a slower pace and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy tourisy area it offers more. This hotel had become an integral part of my spiritual retreat escaping city and exploring the FANJING mountain area. GGuest UserVery friendly receptionist. Rooms are surficially clean but rather run down. A deep-clean and slight renovation wouldn't hurt. Especially a new bathroom bin and soap in the bathroom are strongly recommended. For warm water let the water run for 3-5 mins. A bit noisy and bright at night but not too bad. Sheets, towels etc were clean. Walking distance to East Gate of Fanjingshan.

GGuest Userto be honest, This hotel is definitely good value for money. Compared to hotels near shops, I prefer accommodations that are some distance away from Fanjing Mountain. One of the reasons is that if you want to walk around shops or go shopping at night, you will be disturbed and forcefully sold to by many people. The hotel provides many services including transportation to the entrance of Fanjing Mountain and breakfast. This is a very thoughtful service and I am very satisfied with it. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and many locals dine there. Choosing 3D2N is definitely the first choice. Going up and down the mountain consumes a lot of energy. After we came down the mountain, we went straight to the hotel and slept for 14 hours. The only downside to being near Fanjing Mountain is that it is very far to other attractions. Make sure you can catch a car or bus back to the hotel before nightfall.
