"This guesthouse has an excellent location, very close to the east gate of Fanjing Mountain. The room was spacious and clean, and the large bed was super comfortable for sleeping. The soundproofing in the room is great; even when people in the opposite room were talking loudly and I could hear their voices clearly in the hallway, I couldn't hear a thing once inside my room. The owners are very hardworking; not only do they run the guesthouse, but you can also eat meals there. Their handsome son is incredibly diligent; whenever there are guests dining, he helps serve food and clear tables. I felt terrible when I accidentally cracked a toothbrush cup badly, but the owners both immediately said it was fine and even offered me a new one, refusing to let me pay for it. "Beautiful mountains, beautiful water, and a kind family. The owner even cooked during the Spring Festival – so touching! 🥹 The rooms were clean and tidy, and because it's next to the mountains, the air was incredibly fresh and comfortable. 😌 The food smelled amazing; we didn't even have time to take pictures before our group started eating! Tourists looking for food in the area flocked here. I recommend the spicy fish with fermented bean curd; the noodles for breakfast were also ”fragrant but not spicy” – the owner's secret recipe. After eating, we had plenty of energy to climb Mount Fanjing. The owner, despite being busy, also took time to pick us up and take us to the scenic area – so hospitable! We'll definitely come back to Tongren again."

"The room was nice, and the owner was also quite nice. Before checking in, I was considering another B&B closer to the East Gate. Then I saw this one, and the scenery caught my eye. I figured eating in the Dong Village would be convenient, and the room was good and affordable for my time of year. However, I wasn't sure if there was a shuttle service to scenic spots, so I called to confirm and decided to stay here. When I checked in, my room was on the third floor, and the owner helped me move my luggage. Later, I saw some cute creatures in the room, and since I had the entire B&B to myself, I asked if I could move. He happily helped me move my luggage down. The view from the new room was also amazing, with the bed facing a vast expanse of lush green fields. After I finished cleaning up the room and went downstairs, the owner told me the bonfire party was about to begin, so I went to watch and participate in it with my camera. I've been to Yunnan and Guizhou twice, and this second trip to Guizhou was my first solo trip, so I finally got to see and participate in the bonfire party. I didn't participate in any activities during my previous visit to the Zhaoxing Dong Village, so it was a truly special experience. The next day, I woke up early and took some photos in my room and on the rooftop of the B&B. They were quite nice. If I had more time, staying at this B&B for another day and exploring Zhaisha Dong Village would have been even more perfect. Unfortunately, the special forces soldier's schedule was quite tight. The owner also got up early to drive me to the scenic area. We chatted on the way there, saying that the weather at Fanjing Mountain depends a lot on luck, and that since I was so lucky, I'd definitely have good weather. At the scenic area, he told me to leave my luggage so I could catch the bus (otherwise, I would have left it at the B&B). The weather was indeed beautiful once we got up there, not too hot. I also heard people say it was such a rare good day. Due to time constraints, I ultimately gave up on the Old Golden Summit, but I made it to the Red Cloud Golden Summit without any problems! I even had vegetarian porridge, and the descent to the high-speed train wasn't rushed. This B&B was a major factor in making my first solo trip smooth and enjoyable. However, I don't think my room had a TV."
