Awesome location, amazing view and great staff. Has a restaurant and pokie room inside hotel almost never needed to leave. Will definitely be back !!!

It was clean spacious rooms with 1 king bed and queen bed apartment very nice ocean and city view with 2 toilets and small living area good stay and staff very friendly we enjoyed the pool

Most mornings I walk past the Langham Broadbeach gold coast, with my dogs and often comment, that I should stay there and see what it is like. So I bit the bullet and booked a room. And a reservation at Tang Court for lunch. From the moment we stepped out of the car, it was a superb atmosphere, and dripping with friendly service. Check-in was a breeze and we were given a full run down of the hotel. That was the only moment of regret, I didn't pack my swimsuit so couldn't get in the magnesium pool.....but I will go back for sure. Up to our to the room and it had the biggest bath, so bugger the magnesium pool. stopped by the lobby bar for a pre-lunch drink and service was quick and accurate. Then on to level 3, where we are greeted as though we are long lost friends and taken to our table. The food at Tang Court was next level and I even got a doggy bag.......so much food. Not cheap, but worth every cent and the experience. After our very long lunch it was back to the room to drop off the doggy bag and to explore the rest of the hotel. I took my glass of bubbles with me quite expecting to be told to leave it behind, but no, everyone just smiled warmly and I am sure had there been an open bottle somewhere they would have topped me up. As we are locals, I invited family down to check out the lodgings and was met with the appropriate ”ooo and aahhh!!!”. Back to the lobby bar and timed it perfectly to view the fireworks on the beach at Surfers. The bed was super comfy, great pillows and the curtains closed, made a princess sleeping paradise. Next morning it was a toss up to go to the café or the buffet breakfast. Glad we chose the buffet, $59 each and all you can eat. I definitely ate my $$$ worth. Checkout came too soon at 11am, but it was nice to have the extra hour and not the traditional 10am check-out. On checkout we of course were asked, did we have far to go home? not far I said.......about 900 metres. very pleased with our STAYCATION...........thankyou Langham,ill blow you a warm kiss as I walk past this week.

We stayed at the JW Marriott in June 2022 for a family vacation. Cons: The first night I woke every hour from the bed as it was extremely uncomfortable and hurt my back. I could feel the springs and woke up in pain. The next day they put a mattress topper on it which made it bearable but still the worst bed i have slept in in a hotel. I stripped the bed one night as my son had an accident and was disgusted to find the mattress looked old, dirty and sunken in. It really let down the whole room (which was otherwise gorgeous). I had ordered loose balloons for my Mother in laws birthday for her room upon arrival. These were just dumped in the room in a bunch and not actually untied losing the effect and making it a waste of money. Pros: The pool area is amazing, the cocktails are great and the whirl pool is warm enough to swim in even in winter! The pool with the fish was slightly cooler but I am told still heated. There are waiters that will bring your drinks to you and take your order. The sandy area is great for toddlers. Food & Drink at Chapter & Verse is amazing and the service was great. Misono is well worth a visit and was our highlight! Buffett breakfast has everything you could want however I have stayed at another Marriott hotel that allowed you to order your eggs to order. This would be a welcome addition here. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Robert, Georgia and Johnathan. We had connecting rooms which was awesome but the door does open outwards and take up a lot of room in the small hallway. If you are not a member of Bonvoy it is well worth joining up at the beginning of your trip. Overall it is a beautiful hotel and we would return, however the bedding situation really let it down and needs to be upgraded.

The view was good from even level 10. The only issues are 1. The maintenance of the room facilities seems to be less proactive. When we checked in, the door lock plate on the side of the door was already half falling. There was a crack on the second bath room shower head. The wifi never worked with the pin provided. The living room aircon got the guiding plate dangling. The battery door of the main bedroom TV remote control was falling off. The sink was blocked in the main bathroom. 2. The resort got a “no room service on Sunday unless you book it the day before” policy. We checked in on Saturday but no one asked us if we wanted room service on Sunday upon checking in.

Location was great - a few minutes walk to the main part of Surfers Paradise Beach, the Cavill Avenue shopping centre is across the road, and all the restaurants, bars and clubs you ever want. Surprised me that room housekeeping wanted to clean my room at 9:15 am on a Sunday morning - a bit early, and well before the checkout time (I was already staying another night to Monday). Also found it odd that I couldn't reach the switches for the bedside lighting from the bed (physically had to get out of bed to turn them off) - but that's a room design choice not easily fixed by staff. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff Great, friendly welcoming and helpful. Hotel beautiful, Great Position, Great Restaurant we ate there all meals with good choices, Great Apartment, clean, large balcony with beautiful view, tranquil, restful and wonderful. The pool is fabulous we used it every day. Park the car and ride the tram, from the front of the building. Walk to central Surfers Paradise, abundance of things to do and see. Short walk to the iconic Gold Coast Beaches. We will be Back, already planning our next holiday. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hotel very dated, and in need of refurbishment. All parts of hotel dirty and smelly. Id say little to no maintenance done on outside. Gardens dead, urgent need of all areas water blasted. Pool area very aged, with broken tiles. Not tidied up each day with chair cushions left scattered eveywhere. Inside rooms very smelly, like 40 years of scale cigarette smoke. 40 year old spa bath that you had to climb in to shower. TV that didnt work in bedroom. Not smart tv in lounge room, so no access to netflix etc only free tv. Booked in for 3 people. Only 1 bed made up. When we rung reception to have other beds made up, we were told it would cost extra. When we were in elevator, it stopped on another floor and a worker got in with a cleaning trolley. Clearly there was no room for him, but he just kept pushing his trolley into us, until we were jammed between the wall and his trolley so he could close the door. He was very arrogant and and clearly didnt care about us as guests. If you want a quiet nights sleep, this is not the place. As the building is 40 year old, original single glazed windows where you hear everything. Fire station, police etc just around the corner, so sirens constantly all day and night. Traffic noise also very loud. Overall id rate our stay as a 1, only because of the location. Very handly to surfers shops, beach and restaurants.

The check-in staff were lovely and the shared facilities of the pool, spa and BBQ area are very well kept. Great location only a few minutes walk to the beach and the centre of Surfers Paradise. The apartment (374) is quite outdated with dirty carpet, very outdated bathrooms and furniture. There was also a dirty face washer in the shower when we arrived. Would not stay again in this particular apartment. The online photos were much nicer than the apartment we were allocated.

The Breakers is an older building with individually owned, self-contained apartments. This means that each unit is different and there is no room service etc. It was perfect for our family and the type of holiday we were looking for. 1) Location: it is in the middle of two of the most popular districts on the Gold Coast. Only a 15 minute walk to Cavill Avenue at Surfers Paradise and 15 minutes to The Oasis at Broadbeach. In 5 minutes walk, you get to the tram station that can take you to the Casino and the other major shopping districts. The apartments are right in the beach! You don’t have to cross a busy road. This is such a wonderful safety consideration when you have small children. 2) Views: I recommend that you request and pay a little extra to have a room with the ocean view. It is so beautiful and part of the feeling of being on a relaxing holidays. 3) Friendly and helpful staff: Although it is self-contained, there is still a reception and they always greet us when we are entering and leaving the building. They also gave us good ideas on activities to do with the children. 4) Cleanliness: The cleaners of these apartments have excellent attention to detail. These apartments were the cleanest I have stayed in within the self-contained range. 5) Self-contained: The fact that these are self-contained is an ultra bonus when travelling with a family. We were able to shop and have a fridge full of food and snacks for the kids and us. When we didn’t want to go out for dinner, we were also able to cook. There is also a BBQ area and it was a lovely night being able to have a BBQ in the beach. It is the only accommodation option on the whole area that has this option! Perfect for families and those who love to be so close to the beach. Suggestion: If the building has space, I would recommend adding a games room for the rainy days. The apartments are large but would be great to have some table tennis, pool and good old fashioned pinball. It would suit the era of the building and create a wonderful sense of nostalgia for the guests. I would advertise it like “old-school games room” I’d give each room their own balls for the table tennis. That way people don’t keep destroying them or having people looking for them.
