Best Surfers Paradise Hotels

"We didn't expect our stay to be in such a wonderful setting. With tennis court, fantastic pools area with gym etc. we were on the 2nd floor with Riverview WOW. THE resort is totally central to all. Also the cost factor unbelievable not your normal Surfer Paradise $$$$$. Totally recommend"

"First off, the room's cleanliness was better than I expected, apart from a dried, white, unidentifiable substance I spotted on the curtains – everything else was fine. However, I arrived at 5 PM and was given the lowest floor. Over the next two days, I noticed many guests from higher floors in the elevator. All the Caucasians I encountered were staying on floors 20 and above, while other people of color weren't above the 13th floor (the hotel's lowest floor is the 6th). I can't help but wonder if this is a case of racial discrimination. Finally, I have to complain about the Chinese restaurant on the hotel's first floor. The wine was good, but the food was overpriced. Two of us spent 500 RMB per person and still weren't full. Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, right by the beach. It's also convenient to get to from the airport via public transport. Watching the sunrise is easy, and the rooms are very spacious. There's a shopping street and supermarket within a 10-minute walk."

"The reception Rio is very kind, he tells about the Gold Coast Festival and location . Also, he is very helpful for early in for IHG member therefore we can take a rest in the room b4 go to late lunch. One small thing is the box for the compliment tea and coffee is old and quite dirty inside and outside. Also, if provide an additional box tissue in the room is perfect."

"We were absolutely delighted with the complimentary room upgrade — such a wonderful surprise that made our stay even more special. This isn’t our first time staying at Crowne Plaza, and once again it reminded us why we keep coming back. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk to the tram station, which was especially convenient for me after my recent TKR. Getting around to must-see attractions was effortless, and visiting the SkyPoint Observatory Deck was a highlight. Overall, we were very happy with our stay — so much so that we felt we should have extended an extra night. Highly recommended for comfort, convenience and great service."

"Our stay at Hilton Hotel was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was luxurious and impeccably clean, with stunning views of the city and ocean. The amenities, including the pool and spa, were top-notch. "The room is tired. No glasses, or paper cups, and definitely no tea or coffee or kettle, or little fridge. Rooms are cheap compared with other nearby accommodation, so popular with backpackers. Bedding had the subtle smell of stale smoke. Also security deposit cam only be visa or Mastercard, no cash or amex, and if using a debit card, cash taken out. $200 for a night's stay of $150. A bit worrying since the rooms are not in the newest condition to start so you wonder if you'll get your money back. At check out told it will take 7 days!!!"

"Great location, very convenient. It's only a ten-minute walk to Surfers Paradise, and there are plenty of restaurants around, including a 7-Eleven and McDonald's. My roommates were okay; one snored, but that's just luck of the draw, I guess."

"Steer clear of the Deluxe Two Double Beds room. This room type is situated on lower floors, right next to the building's ventilation units (see last photo), which makes it quite noisy. Even with doors and windows closed, the soundproofing, while decent, doesn't entirely block out the noise. City view and sea view rooms are on higher floors and are often just a couple of RMB more expensive, making them a much better option. The room was clean, but the amenities are a bit dated; for instance, the safe makes a very loud noise when operated, and the bathtub drains very slowly. Nevertheless, the value for money is excellent. Breakfast was good, and the staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic. Overall, it's a decent choice."

"The location is excellent, and I stayed on the 9th floor. I had tried to contact the hotel via the Trip platform regarding my flight delay, but received no response. My flight was delayed, so I didn't arrive at the hotel until almost 10 PM. There was no staff present, and the main entrance was closed. I had to wait for other guests to enter before I could follow them inside. After ringing a bell for a short while, I received a quick response. A 200 AUD security deposit was required. The room felt a bit dated but had been newly renovated, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Overall, I liked it, especially because of its fantastic beachfront location."

"The location is very good, there is a tram station just down stairs. Everything was hygienic and the Bathtub with a massage function can let us enjoy the bath and relax. It was surprising with a clothes dryer so we washed clothes and dried them out. The housekeeper did housekeeping every day without being asked. We enjoyed the stay so much Definitely recommend this apartment to everyone."
