The Paradise Dambulla ★★★★★
"Idea base, helpful & attentive staff. On arrival the hotel is light & bright . Room was large and inviting . The pool is idyllic after a full day sight seeing . Food was amazing with multiple choices. Only stayed a couple of nights would return for longer"
Heritance Kandalama ★★★★★
"On the top of the forest!"
Kassapa Lion's Rock ★★★★
"Eco lodge vibes, beautiful surrounds, staff were exceptionally helpful. Lalantha was a sweetheart I’m ready to bring into action at all times. Love our stay❤️"
Hotel Sigiriyaaya - Jetwing Select ★★★
"A wonderful hotel in a quiet location among rice fields. Peacocks and the sounds of the jungle. If you love nature and solitude, this is perfect! Just remember that there's no "civilization" right next door. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. The reception is very warm. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! Thanks to all the hotel staff. Most importantly for those traveling by car, the road Google defaults to on the lake side is bad, full of potholes; we barely made it. The road on the other side, while rough, is much better. I've attached a map in the photo."
EKHO Sigiriya - 700 meters to Sigiriya Rock ★★★★
"Hotel was great, very friendly staff! Akash, Kaveen and Chathurika took good care and provided with great service. Delicious food, and convenient location."
Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection ★★★★★
"We enjoyed delicious dinner . The room was clean ."
Eden Grand ★★★
"Although the check-in time had passed and it was already the middle of the night, I am very grateful that they were willing to let me stay despite our repeated email exchanges. It was a great help today."
Sigiriya Forest Edge By Marino Leisure ★★★★★
"This hotel was terrible. The rooms were damp and a bit old. Not only that, but every night the shower water would turn cold halfway through. I contacted the hotel twice to have it fixed, and they said it was fixed, but the problem persisted. I strongly advise against staying there. It was awful."
Arika Villa ★★★★★
"Great hotel - very attentive service, lovely food, kids enjoyed the pool. Very spacious adjoining rooms."

Jetwing Vil Uyana, A Luxury Reserve
"This is one of the best stays that we had after a while . Also it was the first time we were staying at jetwing hotel and that definitely hits differently . We will come back here again for a longer stay as we came for a one night this time . Once we are back in SL next time we are planning a longer stay . Special thanks goes to Yasiru who was our personal butler and Sanduni form the restaurant. They did a dream job and made us feel like home. Thank you so much all we will see you soon again"
SigiriyaJungles Resort & Spa
"The spa here is wonderful. Very calming place. Erandi did a full body massage, Soddartha (1st time for me) plus a face nave. She was very good at her skills. Smooth strokes and good pressure."
Water Garden Sigiriya - 30 Chic Designed Private Villas Overlooking Sigiriya
"Great base for Sirigiya and Anuradhapura. Incredible grounds, and our villa was huge and beautiful. The Spa was disappointing, but the rest of the facilities and services was impeccable"
Liyya Water Villas
"First, this hotel is in a very remote location, with nothing nearby, making it difficult to get around. Secondly, the hotel's design clearly shows a lot of effort, but it's not well maintained. We were moved four rooms in one day. Within 10 minutes of checking in, they told us there was a plumbing problem. After a long wait, they moved us to a different room type. After checking in, we still had no water. In the third room, large bugs kept dropping onto the bed and onto our bodies throughout the night, which was terrifying. We finally got our final room cleaned and changed after 10 PM. We finally got some sleep, but the next morning, the stationary hair dryer was broken again! We had our laundry done, and they told us we didn't need to iron it, only wash it. But when we checked out, they still charged us for the ironing! Luckily, my husband had texted them about our request via What's Up, and they were able to get rid of the extra charge. This completely delayed our plans for the better part of a day!"
Pelwehera Village Resort
"Very good experience in the hotel, especially with regards to the attentitveness and quality of service in the Restaurant by Garmini and his team Eardly, Sena and Dool."
Oak Ray Elephant Lake
"We stayed for one night. The hotel is nice, the room is big and clean. The pool was nice but in our case it was very windy and it's surrounded by trees so the water had a lot of leaves. But we still decided to go in. The lobby had a free table tennis plate and everyone was very friendly. For our feeling the food (dinner/breakfast) was expensive as there are not much options around but just a few hundred meters away is a fantastic Sri Lankan restaurant called Mr. Monkey."
Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka
"Loved this hotel, fabulous large room and ensuite, with separate walk in shower and bath. Good AC and working fridge, comfy bed. Fab scenery from balcony, looking out on paddy fields, snd amazing sounds from wildlife at night. Safe should be secured to some surface though, so it can't be lifted. Food was good standard, very similar to other hotels we visited. Pool area was super, nice amount of beds and tables and chairs, plenty of towels available. Bar was nice, good singer one night who took our requests and got us all up dancing. Bar staff were excellent, much quicker than in other places, and more than willing to learn how to make a Baby Guinness!"
Arangala Forest Lodge
"One of the best days of my life was spent at here"
Sigiri Hibiscus Villa
"We stayed here for 3 nights and what a lovely place to stay! The staff are very accommodating and will make sure you have everything you need to have the experience in Sigiriya! They offer trips and tours from the hotel which we didn’t know so booked separately but they came to the rescue when our second day tour was cancelled! The owner quickly got a service running to show us the ancient city of Polunuwara! The breakfast is lovely! We got a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast on our second day which was lovely and eggs, toast fruit etc the other days which was perfect for us! We did loose electricity one but this was due to the scared day and needing power elsewhere for celebrations! This was no problem as the owners made sure to have everything up and running for us by the time we returned from our first day trip! It is only a short walk to restaurants and the lake so is in the best spot! Would 100% recommend here to stay in sigiri!"
Seerock the King's Domain
"All good, as we expected 👌🏽"
Sinhagiri Villa
"I think we had our best time in Sri Lanka in Sinhagiri villa. This hotel is as eco-friendly as you can get. It uses completely renewable energy (also for the air conditioning) and the food in their restaurant is 100% organic. The vegetables and fruit you have for breakfast and dinner come from their garden and are grown without using any chemicals or pesticides. It is also the best food we have had in Sri Lanka. The vegetable curry dish comes with about 5 different vegetable dishes - each one bursting with flavour and mouth-wateringly delicious. Breakfast is a treat as well with lots of fruit from the garden and local breakfast dishes such as Sri Lankan pancakes and coconut roti with sambal. In addition, you are in the middle of nature so a peacock comes for a visit in the garden each day! Sriyani and her husband are also the most warm-hearted people you can meet. We had wonderful talks with them about everything and they went out of their way for us. We actually consider them friends now and hope to see them soon again! They are passionate about the environment and run their hotel and restaurant in a way that is good for the local surroundings, the people and the planet. We highly recommend!"
Sundaras Family Suites
"This hotel has good facilities, like good pool bar, restaurant with a tropical resort feeling. We have room with 2 king beds and it is good enough width for 2 adults and 2 kids. and also keeping sanitary. Staff gave the good hospitality and providing good services in restaurant. Just one concerning is VISA card cannot work well in Dambulla area."
Hotel Sigiriya
"Good hotel with excellent service! We stayed for a couple of days. The view from the pool is amazing! 🔥"
Yashi's Place Sigiriya
"Noce homestay and lovely people"
Green Senz - Tourist Board Approved Hotel & Hostel - Sigiriya
"GreenSenz was our home for our 3 days during our stay in Dambulla. Our Team of friends from Dubai wanted to experience the beauty, nature and the village life in Sri Lanka for during our holiday. We absolutely have no regrets of choosing GreenSenz. The staff were hospitable and the facilities and the ambience were homely. We highly recommend GreenSenz and definitely GreenSenz will be in our next itinerary as well."
Serenity Sigiri Resort
"Great base if you're exploring the Lion's Rock as the hotel's location is very near and walkable. What truly made this a great place was the host; he was very sincere, and made us feel at home throughout through home cooked meals and rides to the Lion's Rock in the morning. Would recommend this place to friends!"
