Buffet breakfast days are more delicious than the set menu days as they have fresh egg hoppers available. Wifi in rooms which is the only hotel in Sri Lanka which had this working. Please note that the drivers arent particularly familiar with this hotel and can accidentally go to hotel sigiriya instead."

"Very impressive hotel. Check-in was really easy. The buffet had a wide variety of food they specially made for us food, but the options were limited but still tasted great. The rooms are also nice and had an old feel to it. The bed sheets had urine stains, but then I was surprised by how quickly service came and changed the bed sheets. Wi-fi was really bad. But then staff trying fix the the Wi-Fi every time it didn't work. No matter how many times we called them, they still came fast. The bathrooms were great except in the shower,a frog jumped out of the drain but then disappeared before staff could come. It was in a great location. They have 3 hammocks, and you can just relax where there are trees above you and you're in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice place to stay with a great location."
