Amazing indoor and outdoor living experience in this hotel. Love the private balcony facing Melaka River. I can spend my entire afternoon there with good coffee and snacks (coffee machine and snacks provided free in room). Tried their Kaya thost during breakfast. I gave 10/10! At night soak yourself in the bathtub with essential oil provided. Awesome experience! Every single detailing the room can wow you with such a specious and comfortable space. The best part is the hotel car park is just within minutes reach from your hotel room. So, it is so convinient after check out. All tourist attractions and restourant surrounding are within walking distance. Will definitely come back next time.

Everything was perfect, except for the ceiling fan, which had white dust on it. The breakfast was amazing with so many options, but I couldn’t finish the eggs Benedict I ordered from the menu. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the heart of the city. I strongly recommend it.

************* our experience at the hotel is great. The building itself is stunning!!! The room is spacious & i personally love the big bathtub. The balcony is also beautiful and it makes a great place to relax while enjoying the view. However, the baby crib they provided us was a bit old and flimsy. Didn’t dare to put our baby inside it.

One of the best hotel I stayed in Melaka. Great location, staff are friendly and welcoming, room are clean & spacious. My room was facing the Melaka River and I can see boat cruise passing by. Great place to just relax as the room is quiet amd peaceful. We were given complimentary breakfast & enjoyed tasting the local & western dishes. We ordered from menu and still enjoyed the buffet spread. Went to Jonker Street by foot and had a great time exploring nearby tourist attractions. Parking is free at the basement. Swimming pool over looks the Melaka River and Melaka city view. Since Fan Bingbing is the Melaka Tourist ambassador & stayed at Casa del Rio, rooms are fully booked.

I stayed for 3D2N at Rm 323. For the price paid , I expected more from Casa Del Rio Melaka Hotel. Such as : 1. The lock for the sliding door to the balcony is faulty. I didn’t feel safe sleeping. 2. The shower glass door is mouldy, the moldy rubber gasket could be easily replaced. 3. While showering, the Floor trap was apparently choked, water level rose to almost my ankle. 4. Bathroom floor is not clean. Corner of wall is stained both on the floor & wall. 5. WC flush is also very slow in clearing the waste. Obviously there’s choke that’s not being cleared. 6. Window & Door not sound proof. I was awaken by the sound of the fire crackers , pyrotechnics. I couldn’t sleep. It’s obvious housekeeping didn’t clean / sanitise thoroughly before giving green light for guest to check in. I liked the fact that it’s located by the Malacca river. I appreciated that the maintenance swiftly cleared the choke in the shower area after I highlighted to front desk. I also liked that hotel provide shuttle to Dataran Palawan. I appreciate that hotel allowed us late check out in order for me to perform my prayer. If I come to stay at Casa del Rio again, it is because of its location.

Location wise which near to Jonker Street & staff is very friendly.

Pros: Very refreshing welcome drink ginger ale BUT cold towel was smelly. Friendly frontdesk staffs. Beautiful hotel & great ambience. Room is spacious & clean. Cold & adjustable aircond with ceiling fan. Comfortable bed & pillows. Separate toilet, shower and bath tub; with bath salt & rubber duck. Free and covered parking, parking attendants even cleaning up your car windscreen for free. Free wifi. Complimentary in-room coffee makers & menu bar items. Satisfying breakfast buffet. No deposit required. Walking distance to Jonker Street & other nearby attractions. Quality herbal-smell toiletries. Cons: Arrived early but need to wait quite sometimes as room was not ready. Long lines at the front desk during my check-out. No bidet. Limited tv channels. Lousy noise when using water spray next to toilet.

We booked this hotel because it is a walking distance to Joker Street (night market), which is just about 2 minutes away from the hotel. All the staff are professional and very friendly from the receptionist to the security, F&B ( Saturday night stall). They do provide the service help to book melaka cruise and shuttle bus to pick and drop off to close by mall. We booked river view king bed room. There is only 1 issue for this room location, which is the noise level last until midnight 2 am since our room balcony is opposite the tourist area, where they are people having karaoke/ music on Saturday night. We will definitely book it again, but we will choose the inside view.

Last minute book . Services provided not matching with the price we paid . Maybe they are more focus on tourists instead of local people. 1. Welcome towel with sweat smell , but the drinks just nice 2. Rooms amenities ( coffee machine , local coffee bag, tea bag, nuts ,soft drinks ) . But the toilet amenities not up to hotel’s level. 3. Toilet wood door can’t close . Request change room but the new room near river side ( a bit noisy) , so we just stay at the same room and ask them to repair the door after we check out . 4. Breakfast - not vegetarian friendly , lack of choices. Even fruits only with watermelon and melon only . I did mention during booking and check in is it’s suitable for vegetarian ? ) Conclusion : I’m still Hungry after the breakfast . Although not satisfied with the stay experience , but they try to fix the problems we met , only does not met our expectations and needs . Actually just want to experience why this hotel’s price so high compared with others , but sorry I won’t stay for the next time.

Rooms is spacious. Hotel location near major tourist attraction in Melaka central district. Enjoyed my stay.

Great location, hotel is next to the river and steps away from Jonkey walking street; and can access the most of key sightseeing spot by foot Room is quite big with nice balcony with the river view There are few buses back to Singapore can pick up from hotel directly very convenient. Highly recommended
