Hotel Monastyrski Minsk City Centre Reviews

Due to a long overnight layover, it was decided to stay at the Monastyrsky Hotel. It was interesting to get acquainted with the architecture of the Upper City of Minsk, old churches and monasteries. The hotel did not disappoint for a second, it was interesting to visit the walls of the old monastery, upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite, which was undoubtedly pleasant. The monastery fully corresponds to its name, the rooms are more reminiscent of cells, as if monks had recently lived here, the interior design repeats the decoration of monasteries of past centuries, and the silence and darkness provide complete peace, only the sounds of ventilation and air conditioning slightly interrupted the silence. The room is spacious, the carpets, the ceilings are high, the walls are probably a meter thick) the windows are chic, wooden and with real shutters!) The furniture is very high quality, made of wood, heavy and good quality, you rarely see such furniture in exclusive fives. The room has many chests of drawers, cabinets, everything you need for your stay, bathrobes, slippers, towels of different sizes, plenty of sockets, tea set, water, clean and fresh bed linen. Honestly, I didn’t expect it from a hotel that positions itself as 3 stars. If you add a little gloss to the interior and update it with more expensive appliances, you can safely give this place 5 stars! The most important thing we paid attention to was cleanliness! On the floor, on the furniture, in the bathroom the plumbing itself is clean! There are no dust or crumbs anywhere, everything is perfect! Believe me, there is something to compare with, the travel experience is enormous. It was just cool, of course, we checked in late, the room didn’t warm up, but closer to the middle of the night it became comfortable. Very advantageous location, there is plenty of room for a walk. I didn’t regret that I didn’t choose the five for the night, European or Presidential...., for some reason I intuitively wanted to stay here, feel the atmosphere of the past... and as always, my intuition did not disappoint! Many thanks to the management, managers and employees of this interesting and wonderful place, if the road ever leads us to Minsk, we will definitely come again!
