"For a woman to stay alone, it's simply a disgrace - you have to get into the city either through a lonely, dirty, long underpass or a long, hidden footpath between the bicycle parking garage and the warehouses. There's no one there in the evening and not much going on during the day. When you return from the city in the evening, there are no groups you can join. You need to be with at least four people to feel comfortable. Nasty area!"

In the adjacent courtyard, many pigeons continue the noise. The quality of sleep was therefore zero. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is simple (€15). "The hotel service leaves much to be desired. We were put in a room for people with disabilities, even though we'd booked a standard room, meaning we couldn't take a comfortable bath. When we asked to be moved, they offered to cancel our non-refundable reservation and move us to another hotel. When we asked for a set of slippers, it turned out they were out of stock, and this is a spa hotel, so they still hadn't arrived for three days. We were also offered dental kits at the kiosk, along with a bathrobe. This is very strange service for a 4-star hotel."

I booked a room but just 10 minutes after booking, I had an unexpected emergency—I accidentally put the wrong fuel in my car and had to stay in Munich instead of traveling to Mainz as planned. I contacted the hotel immediately, asking to cancel the reservation, but they ignored my request and still charged me, even though I clearly explained the situation and could not use the booking at all. It’s very frustrating and shows a complete lack of flexibility or understanding. I will not be booking here again"
