If I had to point out something that could be improved—some of the restaurant's services and prices are sometimes perceived as high, but overall, the value for money is considered very good. "

"Overall, I had a good stay at the hotel. The property is beautiful, the room was comfortable, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were two issues that significantly affected my experience. First, the hotel charged a very large security deposit of approximately AED 1,600 for a two-night stay. This amount was charged to my card without a clear explanation during check-in, and I was not informed in advance about the size of the deposit. As of writing this review, I have still not received the amount back. Better communication and transparency regarding security deposits would be greatly appreciated. Second, the housekeeping service was disappointing, especially on my checkout day. I requested ice cubes three separate times and only received them after approximately 1.5 hours. In general, whenever I requested something, it took a long time to arrive, and I had to repeatedly follow up with the staff. That said, I would like to sincerely thank Carolyn Muimi for her professionalism and support during my checkout process. She took the time to assist me, address my concerns, and promptly send an email to the finance department regarding the refund of the security deposit. Her assistance was greatly appreciated and left a positive impression. While I enjoyed the hotel overall and appreciated the facilities and atmosphere, I believe improvements are needed in guest communication regarding deposits and in the responsiveness of the housekeeping team."

"Highly recommended, and reasonably priced. It's close to the airport, making it easy for business travelers to meet friends and ensure a pleasant and relaxed state of mind. Facilities: Modern facilities. This family-friendly hotel offers a kids' pool and a children's menu. It also features an executive lounge, restaurants, and a conference center. Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent. Environment: Outdoors, it's near the exhibition center. There are fountains and well-maintained park greenery. Service: The service is excellent with a friendly, smiling staff. The employees clearly enjoy their work environment, which translates into an exceptionally positive attitude towards guests. The breakfast restaurant staff provides very attentive service! Thumbs up to the service team, they are incredibly patient~"

"This stay far exceeded my expectations, a definite must-give good review. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the pillow height was just right. I slept soundly all night, and all my fatigue vanished. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the water pressure was stable, washing away all the dust from my journey. I especially want to commend the service; everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping staff was smiling and responded quickly. The breakfast was plentiful, and even staying for three days, the options were never the same. The location is also very convenient, with a subway station right outside. "Very nice stay overall. The room was super nice and fully up to Mövenpick’s premium standard. The staff were also extremely friendly, and they were very flexible — they even offered breakfast, which I really appreciated. I spent my Christmas Eve there, and they had an event by the swimming pool. It was a bit pricey, but you could see they put a lot of effort into it, and higher prices are expected in a premium hotel. The location is very good, close to the main attractions and also near the airport by taxi. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and a jacuzzi, and the view from the pool area is quite open with a beautiful mountain backdrop. There are also several restaurant options on-site, which is convenient. Overall, it was a solid and enjoyable stay, and I definitely recommend it."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended I had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Muscat Hotel from 21st to 23rd January. From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and pleasant. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the hotel has a very nice, welcoming scent throughout the lobby and common areas. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the bathroom was spotless. The pool area is great, with different depths (1.1 m and 1.3 m), plus a dedicated kids’ pool around 30 cm, which makes it ideal for families as well. One of the highlights is the direct access to Qurm Beach, which is a big plus. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good buffet selection, and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Overall, a great stay and a classic, reliable 5-star experience in Muscat. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again."

"My husband and I just checked out of the Kempinski Muscat and wanted to express our gratitude. The breakfast was very satisfying, with a good variety and served fresh and hot, making us feel comfortable and at ease each morning. The staff were friendly and unobtrusive, which was perfect for older travelers like us. The hotel is situated on a stunning beachfront, and the interiors are understatedly luxurious, creating a tranquil and elegant atmosphere that was truly relaxing. A special thank you to the hotel team for the complimentary room upgrade and late checkout. These small touches really made our stay more relaxing and thoughtful, and were truly helpful. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. It was a quiet, comfortable, and memorable stay. If we return to Oman, we will definitely choose Kempinski again."

"The Chedi brand never fails to disappoint. And the Muscat experience does it so much justice. And more. The usual “black pool” (2 of them actually), a gym like really really no other. "Decent hotel, rooms were big for nothing really cheap and plain decor fake marble tiles room interior was not matching the hotel price or downstairs lobby, for the price of hotel all amenities and mini bar was chargeable also price of breakfast was not worth the money, the dressing table was a joke unusable plugs socket on dressing table, huge construction site outside the hotel only attraction was the 5 star restaurants on site keep your wallets loaded 😉"

"Excellent location, many restaurants Shisha bar nearby, also is in the middle of everything. To all attraction everything is within 30 minutes taxi including airport. If you want to do boat trip or see activity, maybe it’s better to leave closer to the port. Before us the extra 20 minutes on a taxi is not a problem. Very clean, very spacious, providing quiet luxury vibe. Breakfast is a little bit smaller selection than I expected, but the food quantity is good. The room is very spacious and comfortable layout, the best bed I’ve ever slept on in any luxury hotel. Only problem I had was in the room, they might need to do some quality checks, a lot of appliances does not work, for example the steamer didn’t Work, need the time to change it, also scale doesn’t work, it doesn’t read a matter for me but everything adds up just a small little disappointment. On the first night, there’s some really loud noises from the air-conditioning throughout the whole night, raise this in the morning, second day afternoon already fixed it. It was a quick fixing, but I would have expected the room wouldn’t have such noises when I check in. The spa is amazing!! highly recommended to do at least two hours treatment, this is definitely one of the best spa experience in any hotel. Servicing overall is very good, specially the room cleaning stuff super friendly, the ladies in the spa also very nice, everyone on the servicing are super friendly, helpful. Just a front desk reception with a little bit of colder attitude. Facility wise is enough, good size pool not the biggest but is enough. Unlike most of the luxury hotel,This MO hasn’t got their own private beach, it’s a beachfront property, however they have a small sessions on the beach with hotels own beach chair for the guest. Is not a usual larger luxury resort, only 150 rooms, I will say the facility is okay but I would expect a little bit more. Also, there is no information to pre-book any activities or any special activities going on in the hotel unless you ask. Pool size service m may be need a little bit of improvement. The stuff is very nice to lay down the towel the moment you reached the pool or the beach area. But this level of hotel should automatically bring some water, ice bucket, or sunscreen available to the seat. They are sunscreen only laying around at certain spot and you need to stand and use it. Overall experience has been amazing, also it is top three best and luxurious hotel in muscat. But for this price everyone will expect a little bit more. I’d definitely rate 8.5/10 of the 3 days stay here."
