Amazing choice if you prefer single rooms over shared dormitory hostels. Medium-sized rooms, with clean bathrooms. The location is good as it is not too far from the town center. The breakfast buffet is delicious.

One of the northernmost hotels, this one has individual rooms but no private bathrooms. Six rooms share one bathroom, which is fine. It's not far from the town's supermarket, but it's only open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

We chose this hotel, considering other hotels in Longyearbyen were quite expensive. We were pleasantly surprised! First, the layout is unique, like a museum showcasing antiques. Second, the shared living room and kitchen are spacious and well-equipped, with dishes disinfected daily. Third, we met many Chinese people, and the conversation was truly enjoyable.

This hotel is very cost-effective for traveling alone. It is very good in this place. Of course, the premise is that you are alone.

Considering the cost of living in Svalbard, I was initially looking for a budget accommodation, but the photos I saw in the reviews were very attractive, so I chose this hotel. In the end, this was the right choice. Location: It is a very convenient location, just a 5-minute walk from the center of town, and within a 10-minute walk from the sea, clock tower, and sake brewery. Scenery: I was able to enjoy the magnificent mountain views from the large windows in the room. Room comfort: It was spacious enough for one person, and it was equipped with central heating in the winter, so I was able to stay comfortable without feeling cold. There was a lamp by the pillow, and it was bright enough. And the WIFI was fast and problem-free. Shared bathroom: It was very clean, and even though I shared it with many guests, the toilet and shower were always available when I needed them. Breakfast: The repertoire was consistent, but the bread and baked goods were freshly baked and crispy. The croissants in particular were delicious, and especially so when eaten with salmon and cheese. Tour: Although I didn't book through the hotel, the tour company's bus came to pick me up at the bus stop in front of the hotel, so I was able to join smoothly. Overall: I stayed a total of four nights, and my stay was so comfortable that I wanted to postpone my flight until the day before departure and stay an extra night.

I stayed here for two days and the location is very good. If you don’t have enough budget, you don’t have to stay here. Hotels further away are only a few dozen minutes’ walk from the city center. The breakfast was well prepared and the bathroom was a little unclean, but this was a matter of quality of other guests and the hotel staff worked hard too. The hotel map is very clear, which is great for people who are easily lost! I was very happy to see the game room, thinking that there would be at least one computer for me to work overtime, but it turned out to be just a place where noisy young people hang out. Maybe I have a different understanding of this word than Westerners.

The sheets were obviously not changed after sleeping for a long time and were oily to the touch. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has many facilities, including a tourist kitchen and living room.

Old wooden houses are simpler and share bathrooms. Service and breakfast were very good.
