Hi Inn (Shanghai Railway Station) Reviews

Location is a 22 minutes walk from the high speed rail station (not exactly beside). Room was not clean and extremely small, price paid is comparatively not worth in China. We had to change rooms because the first room had a huge stain on the table and there was uncleared litter. In the 2nd room, there was a worm in the shower (earthworm in length but fat), used toothpaste left behind and the TV only showed one channel. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbour speaking at night. The "hotel" is also located in the same building as a mahjong/ card playing outlet and the lift is filled with smoke. Not recommended.

Overall it is a good quality-price option, close to the Railway Station which we needed. They provide the enough things needed for our stay. Our room only had a tiny window with not a lot of ventilation and even if it was a non-smoking room, the smell could be felt. The check-in took a lot of time when we arrived but the staff was friendly. One night is just fine for this stay.

The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions and public transport. Overall, this hotel provides a solid, affordable option for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Around 15 minutes walk from the metro. But room is nice. It's quite spacious for a solo traveller. May be a bit squeezy for 2. Good impression of Hi Inn after this stay.

Cute clean rooms with all the necessary amenities you need for a night. They also have lockers that you can use for free in case you still want to visit the city but have to check out. The entrance was a bit hard to find though. It was on the side alley on the right side of the building and on the third floor.

It was good, but the room was much smaller than we expected and the room smelt like smoke

Perfect location, very close to the national park, the service was helpful and they even gave us an explanation of the itinerary we could follow and the main spots to see inside.

Lovely staff on-site. Shanghai Railway station is a quick 15-minute walk away.

The environment is clean. The room is comfortable, warm, tidy and clean. The laundry is convenient and fast. The transportation is convenient. There are many places to eat around. The convenience store is downstairs. There is a supermarket nearby.

Small room suitable for one person, enthusiastic staff, hotel entrance is in a small alley next door, near the bus station but the subway is a bit far about 900m

The front desk was very slow in processing check-in without ID card, which took 5 minutes, causing me to be almost late for the meeting. In my anxious situation, the two front desk staff were still communicating emotionally with each other. The room was a non-smoking room, but it smelled of cigarettes and was very humid.

The environment is unexpectedly great. There are disposable bath towels in the room. The location is very convenient, especially the front desk service. I was catching the high-speed train and didn't have time to pick up my luggage. I contacted the front desk immediately and they sent it to us by SF Express. Thank you so much.
