Just to wait for your chain inn (Lijiang Ancient City Wuyi Street Store)

This guesthouse is my favorite stay in Yunnan. It honestly felt like coming home after a long day out, even though I was traveling alone. The host was so kind — they were already waiting for me near the city gate to help with my luggage (which is such a lifesaver, because dragging a suitcase through the old town is no joke 😅). When I arrived, the place looked exactly like the photos — cozy, clean, and super relaxing. The location is great too — right inside the old town, but just a short 3-minute walk if you need to grab a taxi. It’s peaceful at night, so I slept really well. Perfect balance between convenience and quiet. The hostess is adorable and really thoughtful — she checked in every day to make sure I had everything I needed. Their hospitality made me feel so welcome that I honestly didn’t want to leave. If you’re coming to Yunnan, stay here. It truly feels like a little home away from home. 💛

This was the cutest spot to stay close to a gate in old town! We fell in love with the charm of this hotel. Plus the staff were beyond helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We also loved having such a pleasant courtyard to relax in and watch the coy fish. Overall, the ambiance here is inviting and comfortable. I highly recommend this business.
