"Staying at the Zang Mi Mu Ye Hotel with our kids was an absolute blast! It absolutely blew my mind! The courtyard is probably several thousand square meters, and the kids had no problem running around and playing there, not feeling cramped at all! The smart features in the room were a huge plus. Lights, curtains, and other controls can be controlled with just your mouth, which was super convenient when you're busy with kids. It's a high-tech and practical experience. Most thoughtfully, the hotel knew we were traveling with kids and provided them with their own toiletries: a cute little toothbrush and toothpaste set, perfectly sized for little ones. So much attention to detail, it made us feel incredibly cared for. What touched us most was the staff's warmth and attentiveness throughout the entire stay. They responded quickly to all our requests, leaving us feeling incredibly warm. Since we were planning to go out early and worried about missing breakfast, we mentioned it to the housekeeper, who even prepared a takeout breakfast bag for us! The comfortable stay and excellent service make this a truly worry-free choice for a trip with kids. I highly recommend it to families with kids."

"Fantastic little place just outside Shuhe ancient town and about 30 minutes drive away from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain national park. The grounds were beautiful and very peaceful and the rooms were luxurious and very comfortable. Service was fantastic, the owners were very friendly and helpful. They didn't speak English but they were happy to use WeChat to translate. Would definitely recommend"

"Despite spending most of my stay indoors due to a personal health issue, my travel spirits remained high. The exquisite afternoon tea, sumptuous breakfast, and incredibly warm and helpful staff at the guesthouse more than compensated for not being able to explore due to my discomfort. I am immensely grateful to the staff who not only called an ambulance for me in the early hours but also accompanied me to the hospital. Their unwavering support made me, a traveler far from home, feel incredibly cared for and truly touched. I would absolutely love to return to this guesthouse, which truly has a heart and soul, should the opportunity arise. A special shout-out to the owner for generously providing several complimentary oxygen tanks (which, I confess, I used quite a lot of! 🤭)."

"My stay at Banyan Tree truly left a lasting impression. The traditional Chinese garden design was both grand and wonderfully serene. The room with a private massage plunge pool was simply stunning; from the comfort of the bed, I could gaze directly at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The massage plunge pool maintained a pleasant warm temperature 24/7, and the daybeds on either side allowed for stargazing, making you feel completely immersed in nature. The spacious, 300+ square meter private courtyard was neatly laid out, felt wonderfully natural, and incredibly quiet. It was incredibly conducive to complete relaxation of both body and mind. I hope they might consider introducing 3-day and week-long special packages during off-peak seasons. That way, I could frequently fly over for a relaxing getaway."

"Everything about this place, from location to hospitality, is amazing! The homestay arranged to pick us up at an intersection and carried our luggages all the way. The sound proofing of the rooms are not that good though, so a word of caution for light sleepers. During our stay, 小李 took really good care of us, never failed to ask what we intended to do on each day, provided help and suggestionsto us on what to do. We started and ended each day chatting with him. 😊 On our check out day, we had to leave at 6.30am to Shangri-La and 小李 woke up to help us with our luggages and waited with us till our driver came! We could not thank him enough and appreciate him going all the way to help us. We had a wonderful 5-day stay and Lijiang made an impression on us. We definitely recommend anyone to stay there.."

"Good location. About 12 minutes walk to lijiang international shopping plaza. It's easy to get Didi from the main road unlike hotels in the ancient city. Hotel is clean. The voice activated intelligent feature is good but they also have very clear buttons. Shower room is nice and spacious. There are plenty of hanging space which is always useful. Service is good. They always bring extra water promptly when requested. That was the view from our window. You can see the mountains beyond the city from the 6th floor. Breakfast has a good selection. We had a good stay. Thank you."

The bed was incredibly comfortable - I had some of the best sleep and didn’t even want to get up in the mornings. More importantly, the owners were exceptional in making me feel welcomed and cared for. Within just a couple of days, I felt like I had bonded with them like brothers. What makes them truly special is their sincerity and genuine desire for you to have an unforgettable time under their roof. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer if I had more time. Until next time!"
