This place was really awesome! I really enjoyed the view from the room and the hospitality was top notch. It's a bit hard to get to, even with a car, but we were helped out with getting our suitcases in and finding parking easily. Just about a 5 minute walk from the parking lot through part of the old town.

The host provided exceptional service! They helped us with our luggage into the guesthouse and even brought us freshly baked rose pastries, fruit, and tremella soup! From our room, we had direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking.

This is one of my absolute favorite guesthouses. The property's architecture and courtyard beautifully reflect the distinctive local style. The room amenities and linens are also top-notch and comfortable. What I loved most was the guesthouse's location and the views. Perched on the peak of Lion Mountain, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the ancient city, and the night scenery is particularly stunning. You can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right from the room window! Although cloudy weather prevented us from witnessing the spectacular 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise' (when the peak glows golden at dawn), the mist-shrouded, occasionally visible snow mountain was still incredibly beautiful. The guesthouse owner was wonderful – every day, they brought us warm tremella soup and were incredibly hospitable, often inviting us for tea. Plus, there are two adorable and super friendly kittens on the property!
