I'd give this trip a perfect score! It completely exceeded my expectations! 🏨 The hotel is conveniently located in a villa area just outside Shuhe Old Town, offering a central base with easy access to Lijiang Old Town, Baisha Old Town, and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The rooms are private, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained. The overall environment is tranquil, and it's pet-friendly, making it an excellent choice for solo travelers or families alike. 🤠 The host was incredibly attentive. Immediately after booking on the platform, they reached out via WeChat to confirm all services and offered a complimentary one-way transfer service (to/from the station or airport). What's more, the host is a true connoisseur of Lijiang cuisine 😄. Every restaurant they recommended introduced us to distinct and incredibly delicious local Yunnan dishes 😋. 🍜 Who could resist authentic Yunnan rice noodles served fresh for breakfast every morning at the hotel? I can confidently say I ate it for three days straight and never got tired of it! Afternoon tea provided the chance to sample authentic black tea and fresh fruit. If your itinerary allows, you can truly spend your time here admiring the flowers, sipping tea, and soaking in the slow-paced Yunnan lifestyle. I hope to revisit in winter to see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain again!

The location is excellent, right near the ancient town. The room's decor and color scheme were beautiful, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The long beans in the breakfast rice noodles were a delicious highlight! I also want to specifically mention the young man at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly and proactive, always ready to help with luggage. When I was checking out this morning, we chatted for a bit, and I truly hope to get the chance to try the rice noodles he recommended. I wasn't careful enough while packing this morning and accidentally left some clothes behind. He kindly offered to mail them to me, for which I am extremely grateful.

Right by Shuhe Ancient Town, it's incredibly quiet and peaceful – perfect for just chilling out and unwinding. The young man at the front desk was super friendly and helpful (he even looks like Liu Yuning, haha!). They offer complimentary welcome fruit and breakfast, plus there are laundry facilities with a convenient drying area.

The owner's incredible hospitality made us feel so welcome; they personally helped with our luggage and enthusiastically introduced us to nearby attractions. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the living environment was wonderfully quiet and comfortable. The courtyard was meticulously maintained and absolutely picturesque, brimming with succulents, which gave it a unique and charming character. Its prime location means Shuhe Ancient Town is just a few minutes' walk away, and from the rooftop, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the distant snow mountains. The rice noodles prepared by the breakfast cook were incredibly delicious and definitely a must-try!

The service was excellent. The owner was very friendly and chatty, always happy to help with any questions. Oxygen tanks are provided, which is a nice perk. The room was quite spacious and even had a courtyard. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The setting is beautiful, and from the third-floor sunroom, you get a clear view of the snow-capped mountains (see photo 1). For breakfast, they offer delicious rice noodles, freshly prepared by the resident 'Auntie.' The common lounge on the first floor is a great spot to brew some tea, enjoy fruit, and chat with the staff/host. The accommodation itself is very peaceful. While getting around isn't the most convenient, renting an electric scooter is a good solution (the rental shop will even deliver and pick it up). An e-scooter makes it super easy to reach both Baisha and Dayan Ancient Town without worrying about traffic. However, Shuhe remains my absolute favorite.
