Highly recommended hotel. Clean room and the staff was very helpful. accessible location, restaurant and coffee shop nearby.

The stay was overall decent, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The self check-in was not smooth as I had expected. The shower is also not adequate and it needs some improvements to make it more user-friendly. The location is very convenient, but unfortunately the room is quite noisy. For this reason, I would strongly recommend including a pair of earplugs in the welcome kit, as they would be very helpful

I was thrilled to find that absolutely every necessary amenity was provided right at my fingertips. Stepping outside, the neighborhood is bustling with great dining options and convenient shops, making everything perfectly accessible.

La Sinfonía Citadel is perfectly located for exploring Hanoi. It’s right by the bustling Old Quarter streets, close to Train Street cafés, coffee shops, food stalls, shopping areas, and the lake. You can step straight out into the energy of the city, which makes it an ideal base for walking everywhere and soaking up the atmosphere. The staff were fine, professional but not particularly standout. Breakfast gets very busy and can feel quite packed, with limited options during peak times. The coffee is instant, so if that matters to you, plan accordingly. It’s best to go early for breakfast to get the widest selection and a more relaxed experience. Overall, the location is the real strength here. A great choice if you want to be in the heart of the action and explore Hanoi on foot.

The room was decent, but cleanliness could be improved. Facilities were average, though I did appreciate the wooden floors. The hotel front desk staff were helpful and friendly, and their English was good, which made communication easy.

It was a great place and great location.  The breakfast buffet was great.  The room was a bit noisy, but that’s because it was in the old quarter and it’s all noisy there!

I chose A25 Hotel - Nguyen Khuyen 88 near Train Street for my New Year's Eve trip to Vietnam, specifically for my first night in Hanoi. My decision was based on a combination of comfort, proximity to attractions, and value for money. 🚗 Transportation: A Grab taxi from the airport took about 50 minutes, but traffic can be heavy during peak hours. 🎯 Service: The front desk staff were quite welcoming. Even at 1 AM, there was someone at the door to greet me. Check-in required my visa and passport. The front desk's English wasn't perfect, but we managed with simple communication or a translation app. 🏡 Room: I booked a deluxe double room, which was windowless and had poor soundproofing. You could definitely hear motorcycles zooming by, so I'd recommend bringing earplugs. The room was small but well-equipped. They provide two complimentary bottles of water, welcome fruit, and a good selection of toiletries. Free Wi-Fi was available with decent speed, and standard two-pin Chinese plugs worked directly for charging. 🥘 Dining: The restaurant is on the second floor across the street. Breakfast options were limited but sufficient, including pho, rice noodle rolls, fried eggs, fried rice, vegetables, and drinks. Staff would ask for your room number. Other: It's very close to Train Street, and most attractions are within a 15-minute walk. They offer free luggage storage after check-out. Overall, it's a hotel with high value for money, perfect for those staying one night in Hanoi as a transit stop.
