"An excellent hotel in Boston! It comes equipped with various amenities (which is rare for North American hotels). The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the dining service is superb. Room service delivers excellent food. Highly recommended!"

"This hotel offers a standardized, industrialized experience, which I found to be excellent. The shared showers and restrooms, serving four rooms, were continuously cleaned by staff, which was also great. The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the North Station train/bus station, and also a 20-minute walk from Boston Common/the start of the Freedom Trail. Chinatown is a 10-minute walk away. To get to Harvard University, it's a 10-minute walk to the subway station. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste when staying at hotels in the US. The Revolution Hotel offers great value for money. Also, US hotel prices can fluctuate a lot, so it's important to book at the right time and make a quick decision. Thanks to Trip.com and the supplier. Traveling abroad really makes me appreciate how well Trip.com performs, and it's no easy feat."

"Bunk beds, good location, first time staying in this kind of hotel, quite convenient, public bathroom, everyone keeps it clean, quality is still OK, greet each other when you meet. Right next to Boston Park, a few steps downstairs to the subway, a few stops to Harvard, Massachusetts, very convenient. A little walk to the city center, and then walk to Quincy Market. Will stay here next time"

"It's okay, the price-performance ratio is average. When booking, it was said that the room is 42 square meters, but it may actually be less than 20 square meters. The facilities are a bit old, but in line with expectations. There are many guests. There is free parking, but it takes a while to find a parking space at night."

"The room was large, very clean and very safe. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom, there is a microwave oven and a small refrigerator, and the short stay is also homely. Opposite is BETH ISRAEL, Starbucks' independent ordering and placing an order one step away. Will stay next time!"

"Rating: 4 / 5 A quick stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center: The Best Part: The breakfast here is an absolute winner! Huge selection (bagels, muffins, waffles, eggs, cereal) plus free coffee, tea, and hot cocoa in the lobby. Location/Safety: Connected directly to the hospital. The parking area felt a bit sketchy at night (we saw police cars parked there), though we personally didn't run into any issues or bad people. The Room: A bit outdated, but considering the price and breakfast, it’s completely fine for a one-night stop."

"About a ten-minute walk from the subway station. It's not in the city center, but the distance to downtown is still acceptable. The air conditioning in the hotel was terrible. I arrived in late April and still needed the heating on. It was either scorching hot, with the room approaching 30 degrees Celsius, or not warm enough, only 19 degrees. When I asked the front desk staff, their solution was to restart the heating myself. However, after restarting, the heater made an incredibly loud noise, so much so that I needed earplugs to sleep."

XXiaojingMMThe Westin Hotel boasts an excellent location. We booked a river-view room, offering a fantastic panorama of the Charles River and its two bridges, often dotted with sailboats. There are supermarkets of varying sizes right next to the hotel. I also highly recommend visiting the Boston Public Library; you don't need any ID to enter, and you can just grab a book and zone out under a green lamp. The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was the only hotel on this US trip that actually used a duvet cover instead of just two sheets, which made it much cozier. However, I felt both the pillows and duvet weren't down-filled; they seemed more like synthetic fiber, which felt a bit mismatched for a hotel of this caliber. Everything else was fine. Remember to use your daily $20 credit at the small supermarket next to the front desk on the second floor. Also, Wi-Fi is free because it's tied to a destination fee, so no need to worry about that.

GGuest UsercitizenM feels a bit more fun and welcoming compared to other modern hotels. The rooms are still on the smaller side, but they’re super comfortable, especially the big bed that takes up most of the space. Everything is controlled with an iPad—lights, blinds, TV—which is actually pretty cool once you get used to it. The lobby areas are a highlight, with lots of space to hang out, work, or grab a drink. It feels more social than your typical hotel. Overall, it’s a great pick if you like a stylish, relaxed vibe without spending too much.

ZZILIThis Indigo should have just been renovated last year, and Apple's own map shows Holiday Choice. I have stayed a lot at Intercontinental / Crown / Holiday / Smart Choice. This is my first time staying at Indigo. Some places around are under maintenance and a little messy, but there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Get a staple drink for breakfast, a small portion and a bad attitude. There is no garden around this hotel. Why is it called Garden? Because next to TD Garden, which is also the home field of basketball and ice hockey teams, concerts are also held, the price changes a lot, there are often no rooms when there are activities, and it is noisy after leaving at night. It is also next to the North Railway Station and the subway station, but to go to New York from South Station. There is a parking lot and valet parking at the entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, when I checked in, it was 5 ° C outside, and I changed to the fourth room to heat up. When your room has a small air conditioner as shown in Figure 4, the large air conditioner is likely to be bad, and the small air conditioner may also be bad, much colder than the hallway. The front desk will let people repair it. (Fake decoration) If it is not repaired, it will help you to change. The attitude is good, but I suspect that they already know which rooms have bad air conditioning. The cleaning staff speaks Spanish, not English at all, and requires software translation. In short, you don't need to live here if you don't want to watch the game nearby.

YYixinerxing7284Location: The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of downtown attractions like the Freedom Trail, Tea Party Museum, Quincy Market, City Hall, and Boston Common. Harvard is accessible by subway, and MIT is a walk away on the return trip. Both Boston South Station and North Station (which has a large Star Pharmacy supermarket) and the airport shuttle drop-off point are within walking distance. Chinatown and Macy's are a 5-minute walk away. Cleanliness: Decent. Value for Money: Alright. A good choice if you prioritize saving time and feeling safe. Room Size: The twin room was a suitable size. Soundproofing: Decent. Room Amenities: The beds are high and the mattresses are quite soft. The bathroom has a bathtub (low and small), the showerhead is a bit low, and the water pressure is average. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. No slippers, toothpaste, or toothbrushes. The room has a microwave and a mini-fridge. There's a free ice machine and water dispenser in the hallway. Service: Check-in is at 3 PM, check-out at 12 PM. Early check-in costs an additional $50. Luggage storage is available in advance (free). A $100 per day deposit is required at check-in (held on the bank card, refunded within 2 hours after check-out). Complimentary cookies are given at check-in (very sweet). The hotel lobby bar features a singer in the evening, offering an American bar atmosphere.

GGuest UserThe whole place is old, hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom, not cleaned at all. I told the front desk about valet parking but it was no use, until I got impatient and called again, no one responded. I called for car and luggage service at 11:15, and called again at 11:30, and someone came up to pick up the luggage, and then the luggage service notified me to pick up the car, and I left the hotel at 11:45... I think the Ritz brand is basically finished.

Ssofiia ShokhinaThe hotel itself was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the housekeeping staff was especially kind and attentive - we truly appreciated their work and hospitality. However, we experienced a serious issue regarding the resort fee policy, which left us feeling confused and misled as international guests. During online booking, the resort fee was listed as $25 per night, but important information about additional mandatory charges only appeared after payment was completed, when cancellation was no longer possible, wich is disappointing. Upon arrival, we were charged $200, which was later explained as $25 per person per night - something that was not clearly communicated during the booking process or at check-in. Initially, we believed this payment was a refundable deposit, as no clear explanation was provided. What felt particularly unacceptable was the way additional fees appeared in multiple stages: 1. extra charges becoming visible only after payment and confirmation, 2. additional payments required again upon arrival at the hotel, and 3. further unexplained charges after checkout - in our case, an additional $16 was withdrawn without clear justification. A staff member kindly explained that the resort fee includes Wi-Fi, water, and tea in the room, which we did use as they are standard services normally included in hotel stays worldwide. The fee also covered additional optional amenities such as bicycle parking and a complimentary alcoholic drink at the bar. However, we did not use these extra amenities, as they were not relevant to our stay. Since these services are optional by nature, it was unclear why guests are not given the choice to opt out instead of being required to pay for them regardless of usage. Even more concerning is that these mandatory resort fees are presented as payment for comfort and amenities, yet the overall stay did not fully reflect this. The soundproofing in the hotel is very poor, and we could clearly hear the neighbour’s television. The manual heating system in our room also did not function properly. We chose not to report these issues at the time because we spent little time in the hotel and did not expect the final cost of the stay to become so high. In hindsight, considering the total amount paid, these comfort issues become more significant. We strongly believe that all mandatory taxes and service fees should be transparently included in the total hotel price from the beginning. When fees continue to appear after payment, during check-in, and even after departure, guests understandably feel uncomfortable and misled. Because the final amount paid was much higher than expected, we realized that for the same total price we could have chosen a better hotel without additional hidden fees - which we in fact did for our following stay. We kindly ask the hotel to review these charges and consider a partial refund, as greater transparency and fairness in pricing would greatly improve trust and the overall guest experience

CColin Chiang (zhengguohua)My stay at the Boston Copley Place Marriott in a River View King Room was a terrible experience. I arrived late at night and, after checking in, was assigned a room right next to the elevator. Throughout the night, the elevator frequently started and stopped, creating a constant and noticeable buzzing vibration and operational noise. The soundproofing was extremely poor, and the incessant noise made it impossible to get any restful sleep, severely impacting my rest quality. The front desk clearly thought I was an easy target, putting me in such a subpar room despite the price I paid. The room assignment was completely unreasonable and showed no consideration for guest comfort. My overall stay was unpleasant, and this experience was just as disappointing as my last one. I advise friends to always request a room far away from the hotel elevators, or else the staff will take advantage of you.

GGuest UserI arrived at the hotel after 11 PM. I had specifically requested a room with a good view when I made the reservation, but the next morning, when I opened the curtains, all I saw was a wall. I was too lazy to change rooms, so I just made do for a few nights. One morning, there was a loud drilling noise at 9 AM that lasted on and off for about an hour. I contacted the front desk, and they just said they'd check on it, but the noise didn't stop, and I never received any follow-up. The room was also very small. On the positive side, the location is excellent; it's convenient to go anywhere and it's connected to a large shopping mall, which is great for shopping and dining. Overall, it's okay, but the front desk service could use improvement.

GGuest UserYOTEL is honestly a pretty cool place if you’re into modern, no-frills stays. The rooms are small, but they’re designed really smartly, so it doesn’t feel too cramped. I liked the adjustable bed and the overall vibe—it feels kind of futuristic. The self-check-in is quick, though it can feel a bit impersonal. It’s in a great location, which makes getting around easy. That said, it’s probably not the best if you want lots of space or a super cozy feel. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a short, convenient stay.
