The rooms are spacious, the bedding is clean, and the balcony is large and comfortable. Toiletries are well-stocked, and the in-house coffee is delicious. It's quiet at night, and there's a 7-Eleven not too far away. The surrounding area is full of Muay Thai gyms, affordable massage parlors, and laundromats, making daily life very convenient."

"This hotel is small but very cozy. The rooms are like apartments, very nice and spacious. They have a living room with a TV and a kitchen, though you'll need to bring your own utensils and appliances if you plan to cook. There's a bedroom and a bathroom on the lower floor. Upstairs, you'll find another living area, a walk-in closet/dressing room, and a large bedroom with a big bathroom. The shower is modern and fun. The best part is the terrace with a lake view, which I absolutely loved. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and be close to nature, this is the ideal spot. It's so peaceful here; all you hear is the birds singing. The only downside is that it's a bit out of the way; there are no restaurants nearby, and the closest market is about four blocks away. We even had to take a Grab taxi just to exchange money, but the good thing is it's only a 5-minute taxi ride to get back to the city. In the mornings, breakfast is served in a charming open-air restaurant with direct lake views. Oh, and I almost forgot, they have a washer and dryer, and you're allowed to do your laundry. 👌 Super!"

"The staff here are all very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. We especially appreciate Rach's proactive and friendly service. Although the lobby is a bit far from the rooms and we had to call the front desk every time we went out or came back, the shuttle service arrived very quickly and never delayed us. Even when we returned late, there were always staff members on standby to drive us back to our room immediately. The hotel provides shuttle services to and from the Old Town and Central Festival. It would be even better if we could take the shuttle to the Old Town and then be picked up from Central Festival on the return trip. The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was excellent, though the water pressure was a bit weak. The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again!"

"I've been to Phuket many times and have pretty much covered Phuket Town and all the main attractions. These days, all I want to do is spa, eat, and drink, and maybe hit up the Cliff Restaurant at Promthep Cape nearby for a photo op. I usually come here to escape the hustle and bustle of concrete jungles and crowds, and this place truly is a secluded haven. It's affordable, and during my May trip, outside of the rainy season, watching the sunrise and sunset from my hotel window each day just made time slow down beautifully."

"For the latter half of our trip to Phuket, we switched to the Marina Phuket Resort, nestled between Kata and Karon beaches. Firstly, this hotel boasts a traditional Thai style, built on a hillside with a rich tropical rainforest vibe. Strolling through the grounds feels like being immersed in a romantic jungle. The architecture is distinctly Thai, and the landscaping offers beautiful scenery at every turn. What truly stands out is that the rear of the hotel connects directly to Karon Beach. Come sunset, gazing out at the horizon, the crimson twilight merges with the sea, waves caress the golden sand, and the dark cliff rocks add to a stunning, unparalleled view. You can walk along the soft, fine sand or enjoy playing in the water – it's perfect. Next door, there's a restaurant that hosts fireworks and fire-breathing shows in the evenings, so if your timing is right, you can enjoy them for free. Secondly, the hotel's service is generally attentive and gentle, very much in the Thai style – perfect for a relaxed, slow-paced vacation. Guests receive complimentary dinner daily at the Red Chopsticks restaurant right outside, offering a fusion of cuisines that's pretty decent. Breakfast is served by the pool, though the selection isn't extensive. Finally, I personally feel this hotel is better suited for older families or couples seeking a quiet retreat. For families with young children, there aren't many play areas, and due to its hillside location, it might be inconvenient for the elderly to move around."

"The hotel is beautifully decorated, with a strong emphasis on wood accents, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. It's fully equipped with amenities, and the common areas are also beautifully designed. It's a truly beautiful and wonderful hotel."

"Basic facilities, but the balcony was super convenient for drying dive gear. Plenty of hot water too. They did ask for a 2000 PHP deposit, which I found a bit odd for such a small guesthouse. The front desk service was fine and met all my needs. Overall, it met my expectations."

"The hotel is relatively quiet, which is a big plus! It was better than expected. Although climbing the stairs was tiring, the staff helped with our luggage. The pool is beautiful, and I even practiced snorkeling there on the first day, haha. The location is excellent, with a great massage parlor nearby that I visited daily and shared in my photos. There's also a famous restaurant downstairs with a super delicious mango shake—all within a 5-minute walk. Plus, there's a shooting range and Kata Beach. My friend said Karon Beach was dirty, so I chose to stay near Kata Beach this time, and the sand was indeed very fine. The location is truly superb. Several front desk staff speak Chinese, making communication very smooth. The most noteworthy thing is that Skyline Adventure is nearby. We booked through Trip.com, and they picked us up last, which saved us a lot of unnecessary detours and waiting for other members. Nice!"

"Pros: 1. Room cleaning: The service was excellent and efficient. Rooms were cleaned both in the morning and evening. If the 'do not disturb' sign was on all day, a note was left under the door. 2. Breakfast: Whether we went at 7 AM or 11 AM, there was always a full spread. Fresh pastries, egg dishes, etc. Nothing extraordinary, but you definitely won't leave hungry. 3. Hotel app: You can do everything through it – book spa appointments, request towels, order cocktails by the pool, and more. 4. Pools: They are fantastic, with a very comfortable temperature and always few people. Cons: 1. Some design genius decided it would be a great idea to put a glass partition from the bathroom directly next to the bed (see photo). Am I wrong in assuming that if I were on vacation with my parents, for example, I'd have to lie in bed and watch my mom or dad showering? 2. One evening, we had a power outage (affecting the entire hotel). It lasted about 5 hours. While power was restored to many other hotel buildings after 2 hours, ours remained without electricity. This was late at night, and it was impossible to sleep because the air conditioning wasn't working. I called reception and even went there in person multiple times that night, only to hear excuses that the power would be back on in 10-20 minutes. Ultimately, we didn't get a room where we could sleep until 2 AM! Essentially, I spent half the night trying to resolve this issue with hotel staff. 3. Insects: The hotel is located in a green area, and they do treat the premises for insects. However, the entrance doors have several-centimeter gaps where geckos would crawl in (see photo). Also, the air conditioning unit has an open connection to the outside, allowing a large American cockroach to fly in, which we couldn't get rid of. After our complaints, we were given an electric fumigator, then moved to another room, but found another gecko inside. It wasn't until the third room (around 2 AM) that we found one free of insects. 4. The hotel is undergoing renovations. While details are provided in the app and it didn't really bother anyone, a part of the spa was closed when I wanted to use it. Regarding the location: We left the hotel every day and always had to call a taxi. However, I can't call this a 'con' because we knew about it beforehand and deliberately sought a quiet hotel (which it truly is – quiet and peaceful)."

"The pool water was very clean, and being on the 7th floor with no obstructions, the view was excellent. The room was super spacious and very clean, with all the sofas and chairs looking brand new. The front desk staff were very friendly during check-in and even offered welcome drinks. The only downside was the breakfast. Although it's served until 10:30 AM, by a little past 9 AM, almost all the food trays were empty. There were only 2-3 trays with a small amount of food left. I walked around and couldn't find anything to eat, which was quite disappointing. Eventually, a staff member brought me a plate of stir-fried rice noodles, which at least filled me up. This was the first time in decades of traveling that I've encountered such a breakfast situation. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast on the second day was only slightly better, still feeling like leftovers. It's also quite close to the King Power Duty-Free Shop."
