This place felt more like someone's personal apartment than a hotel room. It was clean and tidy, and the space was just right. While there weren't any fancy facilities, everything I needed was available. My only minor complaint is that the bedside outlet was too far away; a standard charging cable isn't long enough to use your phone while lying in bed. đ„Č

We arrived at the hotel. At first, it seemed like a regular hotel, but when we saw our private rooftop lounge area, we were really surprised and decided that the hotel was definitely worth it, even better than the price (the price was quite cheap). We really loved the hotel. The location is excellent! There's a 7/11 nearby and Karon Beach is just 5 minutes away. Wonderful!

This hotel is splendid! The staff is very friendly, especially the guy at the front desk. He was always helpful and accommodating. For example, when we needed to check out by 12 PM, he allowed us to stay in the room until 3 PM so we could get everything done â what a kind soul! And when my husband was sick, he even gave us two extra bottles of water for free. The rooms are great. The only minor issue is that there are a lot of birds, and they often relieve themselves right on the balcony; my dress even got soiled once, but it wasn't a big deal. Housekeeping is daily, and all toiletries are always replenished â toilet paper, toothbrushes, shampoos, and soap â which is a huge plus! The noise level is acceptable. If you stay on the pool side, it's fine, but it can be noisy near the restaurant. We were perfectly fine by the pool, on the second floor. The only thing was sometimes we could hear conversations outside our balcony, but by midnight, it was quiet, so it was ideal for our schedule anyway. Breakfasts are well-balanced: there were always eggs, fruits, even berries, and yogurts with cereals, juices, and milk. Sometimes they rotated between broths and Tom Yum with noodles and vegetables. We're not picky eaters, so by our standards, breakfast was excellent. I definitely have to highlight the hotel's location â it's perfect! Everything you need is nearby: restaurants, street food stalls, fruit stands, massage parlors, a 7/11, a pharmacy, and of course, quick access to the beach. We were really pleased and very happy with this place. We'll definitely come back; the vacation was superb!

The room size is decent, and it's a five-minute walk to Karon Beach. Karon Beach is cleaner than Patong; if you're looking for food options, choose Patong, but if you prefer clean water and surfing, Karon/Kata is your spot.

Hello everyone đ€ I stayed in this hotel for 6 days! Overall, I really liked the hotel! The service, staff, and breakfast were all top-notch! A special highlight â„ïž is the view from the room! By the way, all rooms have a sea and Karon view! The pool is a separate work of art! The only thing I can say is that this hotel is not suitable for elderly people because it's located on a hill, so you have to walk a bit.

Baumancasa Beach Resort boasts an excellent location, just across the road from Karon Beach. There are plenty of 7-Eleven stores and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. However, the prices during Chinese New Year were significantly inflated compared to their regular rates. If you can book outside of peak season, the value for money would actually be quite good. I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the rooftop pool and views. It's a shame that I spent most of my time out exploring and missed the sauna and pool opening hours when I got back to the hotel. The breakfast was also pretty good, though the coffee tasted a bit like instant. P.S. Avoid the Amber Restaurant near the hotel entrance. Don't be fooled by its high rating on Dianping; it's not good value for money, and they even swapped out my dish, which raises some serious trust issues.

The room was RM70 per night but we need to pay 3000baht for deposit when we check in at the counter. The deposit must pay by cash it is not friendly to tourist. We stay at different hotel for the previous day so we dont have enough cash to pay for it and the staff told us to withdraw cash at 7-11 to pay for deposit. We requested for twin bed room, but they arrange us queen bed room without informing us.

The staff were really welcoming upon arrival, with a drink and fresh towel to cool down. I was given a twin room but the staff kindly put the beds together immediately. The mattress and pillows were so soft and I slept comfortably. One small faul is that there was no remote control for the AC, so I did have to get up in the middle of the night to adjust the settings.

3rd time returning to Kpop hostel!
Itâs always a pleasure coming back to stay here, the manager + maya are always super friendly and welcoming.
Sure itâs a hostel, but beds a comfy, clean, and with a privacy curtain. As someone who also works I need to use the desk space, for which there is plenty of either upstairs office area or downstairs (my favourite spot).
Plenty of different travellers that come here so thereâs many different types of conversations to have.
I will of course be back if Iâm ever in the area!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is a bit too remote. At night, the road outside the hotel is completely dark, so you're pretty much limited to dining at the hotel restaurant. However, you need reservations for dinner, and during Chinese New Year, it was impossible to get one. We ended up ordering takeout (though options were limited, and you had to pick it up yourself from the front desk). While there's a beach, the waves were too strong to really swim. The service, however, was excellent. We only booked this hotel because we were going to Similan the next day. P.S. Similan isn't worth it unless you're deep diving; snorkeling and a day trip are definitely not worth it.
GGuest UserI would like to say thank you for Noku for the birthday arrangements and also the kind service from the staff; I do not like complaining but I do have to raise up my issues as I do believe there can be massive improvements in the hotel and how they handle issues ($550USD for two night stay)
- I booked a HILL VILLA KING; I requested prior to arrival that I wanted a certain view and they replied we will try to the best of their availability (which is totally understandable)
- When I arrived the service was good and they were very kind and again I appreciated the birthday setup they did in the room
- After I checked in ROOM H11; which I saw was weird was there was 2 separate bed bases; and using common sense I thought why would a KING bed have 2 bed bases
- After trying to sleep at night I noticed that it was actually a 2 twin beds put together which explains the two separate bed bases; during the night the bed moved in the middle (with obvious two twin beds and the line in the middle) the bed sheets did not fit because it was two twins and they gave me two separate blankets (it was me and my girlfriend) so it is weird having two separate blankets
- I went to explain my situation to duty manager (AM is his name) he was very nice but very inexperienced I must say; I went to the front desk and I said âhi may I know what type of room I bookedâ then they said âking bed Hill Villaâ I said perfect then I said I would like to speak to a manager (they knew what I was going to say)
- When AM came out he did not let me speak he just talked and said sir because you requested for a nicer view we gave you this room and because the king bed broke which is why we put two twins together. I asked if that is the case why did you not inform me at check in? He said oh we did not im so sorry; let me change your room for you and I will send a fruit plate as apology (TBH I donât want a fruit plate I can easily get one for $2USD anywhere in Thailand) I said please I had lunch yesterday which was around $25USD pls waive that for me as courtesy and everything would be fine. AM replied of course thatâs not a problem sir (I THOUGHT everything was resolved) not sure if he did not understand but I spoke slowly in English due to the language barrier
- We went to my new room at night and saw the fruit plate (thought it was a bonus) room was better and was a king bed which is what I wanted. I go to check out the following morning (I DID NOT HAVE TO) they do not take a deposit which is weird because I signed a lunch to my room so I could have just left. I met AM again and he showed me the map of the whole hotel; Pointed at H11 and you can clearly see that the room has two twin beds (So the BED was not broken they just put me in a twin bed combined into a King) He said yes lol not sure why because its not what he said yesterday that the King bed broke. Then he said oh sir you do have a lunch that you had to pay for (Yesterday he just said yes no problem I will take care) now I need to pay for it; I said did you not say you will take care of it he replied âsorry sir because this is another departmentâ To me its one hotel; how you deal with costs internally is not my problem ( I WAS NOT GOING WRITE A REVIEW BUT AFTER THIS I HAD TO)
- Also just to add First day breakfast I asked for (ICE THAI COFFEE) they said they do not have and interesting as im in Thailand all hotels have this but it was fine; BUT the breakfast colleagues said at afternoon session they have so I said no problem! But one of the staff offered âsir tomorrow morning we can offer if you would likeâ I thought amazing thatâs service; next day I went âSIR WE DO NOT HAVE THAI COFFEEâ after the disappointments above I gave up and adding to the bill not being waived which is a fraction of the cost of the room I gave up
- All in all this hotel tries to be âhigh endâ but there are many improvements that can be made
Sorry for the long review but I was not too impressed
ZZhubagongzimianThis hotel seems to be less frequented by Chinese tourists. During my three-day stay, I only saw about four Chinese guests, while the Sheraton next door was packed with them. The hotel has an old-school Western resort vibe, with spacious rooms and a large enough pool, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I probably got lucky with the price this time, under 600 a night, which was a real bargain. The only significant drawback was the breakfast; the food options were limited, and the service needed improvement. However, for someone like me who can't wake up early, it wasn't a big deal.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's right on the beach, with a 7-Eleven and laundry service just a 5-minute walk away. It's also only about a 10-20 minute walk to Jungceylon. It's convenient yet quiet enough at night. I originally booked a garden view room, but the front desk staff upgraded me to a sunset garden view upon check-in. The room was spacious and well-laid out, with a sofa and a desk. The bathroom was large and clean, and the balcony had two lounge chairs, giving it a great vacation feel while staying at the hotel. Overall, I think it's pretty good, a bit like a Wyndham or Shangri-La in China. While it's not overly luxurious, at this price, what more could you ask for? I'd definitely book again if the price is right next time.
**Facilities:** The room facilities are complete. Although a bit old, they are well-maintained. The cushions on the balcony lounge chairs were slightly worn but didn't affect their use.
**Cleanliness:** Clean and tidy, meeting 5-star standards.
**Environment:** The hotel consists of roughly three buildings flanking two pools, making it ideal for a 'staycation.' The beach is right outside, and there's a restaurant near the sea with live band performances in the evenings.
**Service:** It seems a bit understaffed, but generally, the attitude was good. Basic services like luggage assistance and cleaning were all handled well.
GGuest UserïżŒWe loved the overall experience as a family of four. It was only a short boat ride from Phuket. Although the beach was small, there was a private pool in our villa which we loved. We swam in the private pool when it was sunset. It was so pretty. ïżŒïżŒ
The majority of the staff was also incredibly friendly, with almost every service available 24/7.
Impressed by the friendliness of the staff at Naka Island Hotel. None of them went past us without smiling and greeting us, and almost everyone we met was ready to engage in little conversation to help us settle into the environment. It was so chilled all around, the surroundings and the accommodation, our nerves were rested for a good few days. Beautiful local excursions also available. We went on a little hike to Tad zoo beach which proved to be a little of an adventure because of the 30-min arduous walk for the kids. Once there, not only did we enjoy the beach chilled atmosphere, we got on jet skis with some discounts to the hotel prices too. Upon return to hotel, we jumped into the private pool overlooking the beach at sunset. An amazing experience hard to forget.
Breakfast was exquisite. It had the blend of modern western food and local Thai food. The noodles were delicious, broth was excellent. Got a shoulder and back massage free of charge at the entrance to the veranda restaurant (breakfast restaurant) - knowing how much it would cost, it made my day. Would recommend the Muay Thai to anyone seeking a workout with a touch of Thai culture. The instructor was friendly and funny. He identified my daughterâs talent in the sport. When we go back to HK, I will have another perspective to work on.
SShishinonoOur stay at Cassia Phuket was absolutely amazing! We stayed in the Loft Room, and the view of the lagoon and the beach from our room was simply breathtaking â it felt like waking up in a postcard every morning.
The hotelâs location is perfect, with direct access to both the lagoon and the beach. One of our favorite parts was the complimentary ferry that takes guests across the lagoon to the beach every 20 minutes â such a fun and convenient touch that made getting around effortless.
The atmosphere at Cassia is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help. The modern design of the rooms, the lively community spaces, and the stunning natural surroundings made our stay unforgettable not to forget mentioning pet friendly hotel.
Cassia Phuket truly captures the best of relaxation, style, and island charm!
DDonăăMy first time staying at a deck dorm style. The manager was willing to come, and did check in for me in the middle of the night. Do the 200 Baht refundable deposit. Give me the towel. Informed me to the rule of no sandal/shoes at 2nd floor to maintain the floor kept clean.
That is all you can see.
Nice room, chill, no noise in the room, and other âI am sleepingâ rules.
If you have an issue of not using sandals in the bathroom, then honestly you just need a hotel with a private room. Yeah, upper deck was scary. I dreamt of falling down đȘ
Well, deck dorm style is not just for me. But a good experience here, and with 217 Baht (including tax) I paid, it is worth the money.
This hotel provides breakfast too. Something I don't really expect đđ
They also give me a key gift over a checkout. For sure, I get my 200 Baht back.
Hhellenxiao831Reading other reviews made me a bit nervous at first, but after checking in, I found it to be absolutely wonderful. The hotel was very clean, and the Thai-style gardens and pool were fantastic. Plus, the hotel is right on the beach â just a short walk from our room, which was incredibly convenient. My child loved it so much they didn't want to leave!
The only downside is that there's nothing much outside the hotel; it's a bit isolated. So, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel stay with family fun, this place is perfect. There are a few restaurants by the sea, and the prices are quite reasonable. It's really great! I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.
AAnisurrahmansMy stay at the Andakira Hotel was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient. We were greeted with a cool towel and a refreshing drink, which was a lovely touch after a long journey.
Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and had a breathtaking view of the city skyline. The bed was supremely comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom was modern and well-stocked with high-quality toiletries.
The hotel's amenities are top-notch. We spent an afternoon by the beautiful infinity pool, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The breakfast buffet was extensive, offering a great mix of local and international dishes, all of which were delicious.
Its location is also a major plus, with easy access to public transport and main attractions.
We cannot recommend the Andakira Hotel highly enough. It was the perfect base for our trip, and we will definitely be returning.
Highlights:
· Exceptional, friendly staff
· Beautiful, clean rooms with great views
· Excellent pool and amenities
· Delicious and varied breakfast
XXiaolian2019We actually stayed here for five consecutive days! It was a very pleasant stay, and I really wanted to write more! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hygiene was excellent. The owner is Chinese and has been consistently upgrading the linens. The service was attentive; one night, our Indian neighbors were on a loud call at 2:30 AM, and the owner, contacted via WeChat, promptly resolved the issue! The guesthouse environment is very comfortable, with squirrels, cats đ±, and other small animals! The sea is right outside the door, as is a local night market! The food stalls at the entrance are also affordable and delicious đ! I loved it! And for only two to three hundred during peak season, the price is unbeatable!!
MMrV12341234LOVED our stay here and would recommend the place to others. See my below pros and cons.
Pros:
-the staff was very friendly. They all worked very hard to make sure the guests are happy.
-The food was delicious (especially the curryâs). Everything is good except maybe some of the western things like the hamburgers. Stick with the Thai dishes. The breakfast buffet was slightly above average.
-The rooms were very clean. No bugs.
-They provided us a very nice crib for our nine month old
-we never once heard our neighbors, or any guests, through the walls.
-The ac worked great.
-There is a free shuttle to old town Phuket each day (but see cons below on this).
You can use the Bolt or Grab app to call a taxi. This is much cheaper than the on site taxi.
-Free ride to and from the local beach (itâs not realistic to walk there because the road is too steep).
-The beach is very quiet compared to most beaches in Phuket. There is a bar at the beach that serves all kinds of drinks.
There are free beach chairs for you. If they are all taken the staff has large picnic mats for you to use (see below for negatives about the beach)
-beach area has a small childrenâs playground. One of those plastic castle style climb / slide things. There is also two small football (soccer) goals and a volleyball net.
-the beach is really nice in its own way. The sand and water is not as beautiful as other Phuket beaches, especially those on the west side, but the views of the nearby islands make it very serene and something the west side beaches donât have. If youâre not coming to snorkel and see fish, itâs a good beach. There is also lots of shade if needed.
-you get one free kayak rental per stay
-The sheets in the room were changed every day and were very clean and comfortable
-The hot water was really hot and never ran out.
-our room had a mini fridge that worked great and had a little freezer section.
-The pool is very clean, cool, and relaxing. You can order drinks right in the pool
-The upper pool has an amazing view of the Thai islands. Make sure to get to the pool early (8-9am) and secure a chair or two if you plan to have a pool day.
-speaking of the view, because youâre on the east side, there are many islands in the distance, making the viewâs spectacular. The west side beaches youâre looking out into open ocean. Here you see mountains and hills in the distance.
Cons:
-they give your room 2 water bottles each day, but youâre stuck at the resort unless you hire a taxi. So we had to continually buy water from the desk or restaurant until we went out to the 7-11 (I recommend stopping at a convenience store on your taxi ride to the resort and stock up on water, drinks, snacks etc that you enjoy)
-you have to get a taxi everywhere, even to a convenience store.
-There is a small store on site that sells snacks, drinks, souvenirs, cigarettes, etc. but it was never open. We got really frustrated because our 9 month old uses water for his formula and we simply couldnât get enough water, so we had to repeatedly ask to use the store and then a worker finally came and let us buy some water.
-Our room did not have electric outlets next to the bed (could be a pro for some?). Actually, there was only one outlet in the room that was reasonably accessible to charge phones. (Plug outlets are multi purpose, had USA & Europe holes)
-The snorkeling is terrible at the Supalai beach. Very murky and cloudy water (The tides are rather extreme here, hundreds of feet of shore line exposed), leaving a muddy/marsh like area at the beach each evening.
