The bathroom was small but clean and functional. Everything else was great; fresh towels were left at the door daily, which was very convenient and thoughtful. The room was cleaned every three days, perfect for guests who prefer minimal disturbance. Overall, it was simple, comfortable, and good value for money.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and convenience. One of its biggest strengths is the location—it’s situated in a very accessible area, close to key attractions, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to get around.
The cleanliness of the hotel was truly impressive. The housekeeping team clearly puts in great effort to ensure a pleasant environment for guests.
I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, especially the availability of free coffee and drinking water. It’s a small touch, but it really adds to the overall experience and makes guests feel welcomed and cared for.
Another highlight was the seasonal decorations throughout the hotel. The festive decorations created a warm and inviting atmosphere, showing that the hotel pays attention to detail and strives to make each stay special.

The central walking street is only 2-3 minutes walk away, sakaisuji line and midosuji line also very close. Hotel allows to store luggage after check-out for free which is a BIG BONUS. Hotel has 2 washing machines and 2 dryers, which is too little when keeping in mind how many rooms the hotel has. Staff is very friendly and receiving amazon packages is also FREE of charge - very kind!

✨ Acro Capsule Hotel (Japan) 🇯🇵
My first time staying in a capsule hotel, and honestly, I was more impressed than I expected!
📍 Location: Amazing! It’s very close to Dotonbori—just a few minutes’ walk to food, shopping, and nightlife. Also near train stations, so getting around is super convenient.
🛏 Capsule Room: I thought it would be very small, but it’s actually more spacious than expected. I could stretch out comfortably. There’s decent privacy with a curtain, plus a power outlet and personal light.
🧼 Cleanliness: Highly rated! The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Amenities are provided, including towels and a hair dryer.
👩💼 Staff: Friendly, helpful, and able to communicate in English, which makes everything much easier.
👍 Pros:
- Great value for money, perfect for budget travelers
- Excellent central location
- Secure system with lockers for your belongings
⚠️ Cons:
- If you get an upper capsule, climbing up and down can be a bit inconvenient (though it’s slightly cheaper than the lower one)
- Some noise is unavoidable since it’s a shared space
- It can feel a bit warm or stuffy at times
💬 Overall: Perfect for solo travelers or anyone who wants to try the capsule hotel experience in Japan. If you don’t mind limited personal space, it’s definitely worth it!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic, 120 out of 100! First, let's talk about the room size. I've been to Japan many times, and the rooms are usually tiny. But even though this room is small, the high ceilings make it feel spacious and not at all cramped. Second, the location is incredibly convenient. It's only a five-minute walk to Shinsaibashi, and the subway station is right outside the door. What do I mean by 'right outside the door'? Literally, you step out of the hotel and you don't even need navigation! You know what I mean. All in all, it's totally worth it!

The room is very spacious; at 6'3” I could sit up comfortably, and the chair was wide enough to easily climb onto. However, there was a creaking sound when my weight pressed down on the bed frame, and it was quite noticeable when I sat up from lying down. Eating is not allowed in the room; you have to go to the second floor. The room itself was relatively quiet, except for someone yelling for an unknown reason on the second day, and some incredibly loud snoring. The first bath towel was free, but the second one cost 100 or 200 yen.

The hotel is super close to the subway station, right at the exit. The room was generally clean, and both comfort and quietness were good. It's a bit of a walk from the JR station, about 15 minutes. Breakfast was quite expensive, so I didn't eat at the hotel; there's a Matsuya across the street which was a good alternative.

Absolutely incredible experience. The public bath and amenities was a wonder after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was comfortable and spacious, all areas were clean. The staff were impossible to fault as they were polite and thoughtful on every opportunity. For the price of a hostel room this is service for a higher end hotel.

Pros: Convenient location, clean and tidy.
Cons: The Wi-Fi signal was too weak and kept disconnecting, so I had to use my own mobile data. The air conditioning couldn't be adjusted; the hotel had it set to cool, so the room was always blowing cold air. If you felt cold, your only option was to turn it off. The day I stayed, the temperature dropped, and even without the AC, a single duvet wasn't enough, and it was still cold. The hotel didn't provide extra blankets or duvets, so I unfortunately caught a cold.

I can understand not being able to open windows but the second window was frosty without being able to see outside.
This hotel does not feel like a Japanese hotel at all. The so called ”sub-manager” with a shiny stone necklace around his neck and no uniform totally ignored my smile as I came back. When I asked if the umbrella was okay to borrow he barely even looked at my direction mumbling something. The staff members do not seem to wear uniforms or professional attire...which collar necklace confirms.
You have a private room but cannot eat or drink in your own room?!! I remember about this happening in Chinese culture countries such as Singapore or Taiwan. Operating company is a ”Singapore” company.. so it makes sense. The sign would not be here if the company operated by a truly Japanese company.

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Yotsubashi Station. If you're coming from Shinsaibashi, it's quite a long walk for an in-station transfer, which isn't very convenient. There's a McDonald's and a 24-hour supermarket downstairs. However, the 10 AM check-out time is unacceptable; hotels in Tokyo and Aomori all have 11 AM check-out. On the first night, I asked the front desk for an extra pillow and blanket but was told they didn't have any. Breakfast access is denied after 9:30 AM, and the selection is very limited. The room size was the smallest I encountered during my entire trip to Japan. The price is a bit high, making the value for money just average. While a 26-inch suitcase can be opened, for a family trip, kids pretty much have to sit on the bed as there's not much space to move around. The bathtub and toilet are in the same bathroom, not a separate setup. Overall, if I visit Osaka again, I won't consider this hotel. I strongly advise against booking the breakfast; for over 100 yen per person, you're better off getting something at McDonald's downstairs.
GGuest UserI stayed for two nights, which was perfect after a fun day at Universal Studios Japan – I could just come back and relax. The hotel is surrounded by a bustling shopping street with plenty of restaurants and shops. I even grabbed some Sushiro takeout to enjoy back at the hotel. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the three-part bathroom setup which was super convenient. All the bath amenities were well-stocked too. In the evenings, I could pop down to the 24-hour Lawson downstairs to buy a couple of onigiri to store in the mini-fridge. Each floor also has a microwave, so I could just heat them up before heading out the door in the morning.
XXLbaoWe stayed at The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan during our 4th trip to Japan and our first traveling with our auADHD toddler. This was our second hotel in Osaka, and we arrived by taxi directly from our previous hotel. Taxi tip: make sure you show the taxi driver the hotel name and address in Japanese. Our driver initially dropped us at Universal Studios Japan instead of the hotel entrance and that cost us when it showed him the Google maps address.
The hotel staff themselves were excellent. They deal with international guest on the daily and some speak English. Our forwarded luggage was received without issue and delivered directly to our room, which made arrival seamless. They have forms for luggage transport themselves that I used for our KIX airport hotel. Service throughout our stay was efficient and professional, and the staff clearly explained all hotel procedures.
The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, which gives you a real edge if you plan to rope drop. The subway station is directly outside the hotel entrance, making transportation extremely convenient. Universal Citywalk is steps away, with Starbucks, Lawson, Bikkuri Donki (Great for familes by the way), shopping, and countless restaurants all within immediate reach.
If you’re visiting USJ, I strongly recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. We arrived around 8:30 a.m., and it made the first ride strategy noticeably more challenging. Luckily disability service helped a little as it was similar to Disney when you have to go to the Fast Pass staff to get a return time but USJ uses pen and paper. The earlier you position yourself for rope drop, the smoother your morning will be. Lines were extremely long and we were only able to see half the park. Unless you have 2 days at USJ, I recommend buying the Express pass packages as early as possible as they were all sold out the day of. Definitely a big regret as we only had 1 day there.
The onsen sauna was of an average size. After long park days, it was incredibly relaxing. The baths are separated by gender, and there are no private rentable family spaces, so that’s something to keep in mind if traveling to onsen if you are not comfortable going commando with others.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt slightly dated but it was clean and fully functional. One thing I missed was having a small kitchenette and in-room washer/dryer. Laundry is available on the spa floor via coin machines, but in-room units would have been more better.
On our second day, we made a day trip to Ghibli Park in Aichi, which took about 2.5 hours each way via Shinkansen and local transit. It’s doable but long. If your primary focus is Universal Studios Japan, this hotel is an excellent strategic base. If you plan multiple long day trips outside Osaka, you may want something more centrally located. I should have planned a day to stay at Nagoya for my Ghibli Park day.
Overall, The Singulari is ideal for travelers prioritizing proximity to Universal Studios Japan, easy transit access (but not centrally located), and post-park relaxation in a quality onsen setting.
GGuest UserThe overall experience was good, and you simply can't beat the location—it's the best in Osaka, especially in Namba. However, the room was quite small, and the facilities are limited. If you're looking for a place to sleep and explore the city, it works well, but don't expect much space or extra amenities.
AAnonymous UserThe front desk had a staff member who spoke Chinese, which made check-in super easy. The room was spacious and well-laid out, and it's really close to the subway station! Plus, it's right next to some very upscale residential buildings in Osaka.
AAnonymous UserThe room had a fridge and microwave, which was really convenient for heating up late-night snacks and breakfast. I didn't get to use the washing machine though. The location is great, with the nearest subway station about a five-minute walk away. The room itself isn't very big, and if you're staying for only four nights, you need to put out the 'Please clean' sign yourself for them to empty the trash.
GGuest UserThe surroundings are very convenient, and the environment is clean and hygienic, which makes it highly recommendable. The breakfast pastries, coffee, and drinks were delicious, and the service attitude was also excellent. Plus, there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby.
HHeiressjloThe room itself is well maintained and the facilities are common basic ones that I need as a solo female traveler. It a 5 minute walk to Juso Station and a lot of convenience store around. They have a coin laundry machine as well so it was easier to wash clothes when I needed it. All additional things that you need such as toiletries are also readily available at the lobby area. And the best part was the free breakfast!
KkennyanHad a really great hotel experience. The room was cleaned daily, and the hotel is surrounded by a bustling commercial area, making shopping very convenient. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I didn't hear any noise at all. Plus, the breakfast was abundant, and it offered great value for money.
GGuest UserThe room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second,
upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service.
