My dream hotel! Staying here for five nights was such a blessing; it significantly boosted the happiness of my entire Kansai trip. It honestly made me so disappointed with the hotels I stayed in afterward. From now on, whenever I come to Osaka, I'm definitely staying here. The room was spacious, and the mattress and bedding were incredibly soft and clean – I slept so comfortably. I especially appreciated the fully enclosed duvet cover, which felt very hygienic (unlike another hotel of the same caliber I stayed in later, where they only used a single sheet between the duvet insert and the bottom sheet. Every time I moved, the sheets, duvet, and cover would all get tangled up – it was disgusting! Plus, the material felt as terrible as curtain fabric; it infuriated me!). The bathroom wasn't huge but was very clean, and all the fixtures were new. There were two bottles of mineral water provided. You need your room card to use the elevator. The view of the river from the window was beautiful, both during the day and at night.

The location is incredibly convenient. Fukushima Station is right outside the hotel, and Umeda is just one stop away, making it incredibly handy. There's a convenience store downstairs, a yakitori place right across the street, and even a delicious revolving sushi restaurant on the hotel's first basement floor – all excellent dining options! A pretty famous Oden restaurant (about a 7-8 minute walk away) is also worth checking out! Our family of four had a great rest with the four beds provided. Plus, it's not far from Universal Studios either.

The hotel is super close to the subway station, right at the exit. The room was generally clean, and both comfort and quietness were good. It's a bit of a walk from the JR station, about 15 minutes. Breakfast was quite expensive, so I didn't eat at the hotel; there's a Matsuya across the street which was a good alternative.

The location is fantastic; you can see the hotel right from Fukushima Station. There's a food street downstairs and a Hankyu supermarket (definitely worth a visit if you have time! Lots of great, affordable stuff). When we checked in, staff helped us use the self-service machine, and our luggage, which we'd sent ahead via Yamato Transport, was brought out to us at the same time. The front desk area also provides complimentary toiletries like toothbrushes and combs, as well as tea bags, for guests to pick up themselves. The room is small but has everything you need, though you can really only open one suitcase. 😂 Later, we needed to send our luggage to the airport. Luckily, we found a Chinese-speaking staff member, but we still had to fill out all the forms ourselves. I'm not sure why all the guides I read said the front desk would help with this. Since we can't write Japanese, it took us almost half an hour to fill out the three forms. There's also a really delicious yakitori place near the hotel! I highly recommend checking it out.

It seemed that advance check-in was recommended, but when I was in trouble, I immediately called out and responded at the reception. Very satisfied with service and cleanliness. It is safe that the first floor is divided into women and the second floor is divided into men. However, if the people nearby or the people upstairs are noisy, sleep will be disturbed. If you choose a shared hotel, it is unavoidable, so if you don't like it, let's make it a private room type hotel.

This is my top pick for a hotel when shopping in Umeda. It's about a 10-minute walk to Lucua, and the surroundings are really pleasant. The room was also very clean. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I come back. The only downside is the room size. It was advertised as 18.4 sqm, but I doubt it was even that. It felt much smaller, probably 15-16 sqm at most. There was absolutely no space to put my luggage. I had to move the nightstand just to squeeze it in. Later, when I stayed in Kyoto, I had a room that was also 18 sqm, but I could open my suitcase completely and still have space for a massage chair.

The hotel is located in Nakanoshima, and it's a bit of a walk from Higobashi subway station. When I arrived, I walked through an underground passage after exiting the subway, and then emerged from the basement of a building to find myself already in Nakanoshima. It was another short walk from there to the hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly. Their English wasn't perfect, but simple communication was manageable. The room was a bit small, but the window faced directly onto the Tosabori River, and there was no noise, which was great. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the restaurant staff were very nice. The hotel is on an island and is very close to Watanabebashi Station on the Keihan Nakanoshima Line, making it incredibly convenient to get to Kyoto by Keihan train. When I left, I walked along the riverside directly to Higobashi subway station, which took about 10 minutes. The view was much more open than in the underground passage, and it didn't feel too far at all.

I spontaneously booked this hotel because it was the closest one to the airport shuttle, and I was pleasantly surprised! Here's some info for everyone: **Location:** It's super close to the airport shuttle (a 5-minute walk). Even with 2 suitcases and 2 tote bags, the distance was perfect. It's also incredibly close to major shopping malls and Osaka Station, making it convenient for catching any transport you need for sightseeing. Seriously, it's so convenient! There are plenty of food options nearby too, so you don't have to go far at all. 👍 **Amenities:** They offer complimentary coffee and drinks, afternoon tea, and an evening bar (all free!). The service is just amazing. Plus, there's a large public bath, gym, washing machines, ice maker, and microwave. Basically, they have everything you could possibly need, and if something isn't provided, you can usually borrow it. There's a clear guide explaining all the services. The rooms come with a fridge, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand/face soap. In the lobby, you can help yourself to Sekkisei lotion and toner. The bed even has a button that I assume is for heating, because it made the bed wonderfully warm and comfortable. Honestly, everything is so thoughtfully prepared. And, super important, there are tons of charging ports – absolutely fantastic! 👍 **Space:** The room was much more spacious than I expected. I had 2 large suitcases and 2 huge tote bags, and there was plenty of room to open everything. For Japan, I'd say they've made excellent use of the space. All my requests, which I noted during booking, were met. 😌 **Overall:** I originally booked this last minute, simply choosing a hotel where I could fully redeem my Trip.com points. After using my points, I only paid the taxes, so I wasn't expecting much in terms of quality. However, I was genuinely and unexpectedly satisfied! If I were paying the regular price, which seems to be around 400-600 RMB, this hotel would be the king of value for money in the Osaka Station area. If you're looking for a place to stay in the Umeda shopping district, don't even think twice – just pick this one!

Amenities: The complimentary toothbrushes and other items on the second floor were a nice touch. Cleanliness: It was clean and tidy. Environment: Located in the Beibin financial district, it's very convenient and comfortable. It was also very quiet at night. Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Yotsubashi Station. If you're coming from Shinsaibashi, it's quite a long walk for an in-station transfer, which isn't very convenient. There's a McDonald's and a 24-hour supermarket downstairs. However, the 10 AM check-out time is unacceptable; hotels in Tokyo and Aomori all have 11 AM check-out. On the first night, I asked the front desk for an extra pillow and blanket but was told they didn't have any. Breakfast access is denied after 9:30 AM, and the selection is very limited. The room size was the smallest I encountered during my entire trip to Japan. The price is a bit high, making the value for money just average. While a 26-inch suitcase can be opened, for a family trip, kids pretty much have to sit on the bed as there's not much space to move around. The bathtub and toilet are in the same bathroom, not a separate setup. Overall, if I visit Osaka again, I won't consider this hotel. I strongly advise against booking the breakfast; for over 100 yen per person, you're better off getting something at McDonald's downstairs.

GGuest User✨ Acro Capsule Hotel (Japan) 🇯🇵 My first time staying in a capsule hotel, and honestly, I was more impressed than I expected! 📍 Location: Amazing! It’s very close to Dotonbori—just a few minutes’ walk to food, shopping, and nightlife. Also near train stations, so getting around is super convenient. 🛏 Capsule Room: I thought it would be very small, but it’s actually more spacious than expected. I could stretch out comfortably. There’s decent privacy with a curtain, plus a power outlet and personal light. 🧼 Cleanliness: Highly rated! The bathrooms and showers are very clean. Amenities are provided, including towels and a hair dryer. 👩💼 Staff: Friendly, helpful, and able to communicate in English, which makes everything much easier. 👍 Pros: - Great value for money, perfect for budget travelers - Excellent central location - Secure system with lockers for your belongings ⚠️ Cons: - If you get an upper capsule, climbing up and down can be a bit inconvenient (though it’s slightly cheaper than the lower one) - Some noise is unavoidable since it’s a shared space - It can feel a bit warm or stuffy at times 💬 Overall: Perfect for solo travelers or anyone who wants to try the capsule hotel experience in Japan. If you don’t mind limited personal space, it’s definitely worth it!

GGuest UserI stayed for two nights, which was perfect after a fun day at Universal Studios Japan – I could just come back and relax. The hotel is surrounded by a bustling shopping street with plenty of restaurants and shops. I even grabbed some Sushiro takeout to enjoy back at the hotel. The room was very spacious, and I especially loved the three-part bathroom setup which was super convenient. All the bath amenities were well-stocked too. In the evenings, I could pop down to the 24-hour Lawson downstairs to buy a couple of onigiri to store in the mini-fridge. Each floor also has a microwave, so I could just heat them up before heading out the door in the morning.

XXLbaoWe stayed at The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa at Universal Studios Japan during our 4th trip to Japan and our first traveling with our auADHD toddler. This was our second hotel in Osaka, and we arrived by taxi directly from our previous hotel. Taxi tip: make sure you show the taxi driver the hotel name and address in Japanese. Our driver initially dropped us at Universal Studios Japan instead of the hotel entrance and that cost us when it showed him the Google maps address. The hotel staff themselves were excellent. They deal with international guest on the daily and some speak English. Our forwarded luggage was received without issue and delivered directly to our room, which made arrival seamless. They have forms for luggage transport themselves that I used for our KIX airport hotel. Service throughout our stay was efficient and professional, and the staff clearly explained all hotel procedures. The biggest advantage of this property is its location. It is about a 10-minute walk to the entrance of Universal Studios Japan, which gives you a real edge if you plan to rope drop. The subway station is directly outside the hotel entrance, making transportation extremely convenient. Universal Citywalk is steps away, with Starbucks, Lawson, Bikkuri Donki (Great for familes by the way), shopping, and countless restaurants all within immediate reach. If you’re visiting USJ, I strongly recommend arriving at the park entrance by 7:30 a.m. We arrived around 8:30 a.m., and it made the first ride strategy noticeably more challenging. Luckily disability service helped a little as it was similar to Disney when you have to go to the Fast Pass staff to get a return time but USJ uses pen and paper. The earlier you position yourself for rope drop, the smoother your morning will be. Lines were extremely long and we were only able to see half the park. Unless you have 2 days at USJ, I recommend buying the Express pass packages as early as possible as they were all sold out the day of. Definitely a big regret as we only had 1 day there. The onsen sauna was of an average size. After long park days, it was incredibly relaxing. The baths are separated by gender, and there are no private rentable family spaces, so that’s something to keep in mind if traveling to onsen if you are not comfortable going commando with others. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom felt slightly dated but it was clean and fully functional. One thing I missed was having a small kitchenette and in-room washer/dryer. Laundry is available on the spa floor via coin machines, but in-room units would have been more better. On our second day, we made a day trip to Ghibli Park in Aichi, which took about 2.5 hours each way via Shinkansen and local transit. It’s doable but long. If your primary focus is Universal Studios Japan, this hotel is an excellent strategic base. If you plan multiple long day trips outside Osaka, you may want something more centrally located. I should have planned a day to stay at Nagoya for my Ghibli Park day. Overall, The Singulari is ideal for travelers prioritizing proximity to Universal Studios Japan, easy transit access (but not centrally located), and post-park relaxation in a quality onsen setting.
