"The male receptionist's attitude was a bit mediocre, but the hotel really offers good value for money. For 500 RMB a night in Europe, with breakfast included, and the rooms being relatively new and in a good location, it's quite a find. If you're visiting Venice, this place is definitely an option. The breakfast isn't really tailored to Asian tastes, but it's decent enough to fill you up. It wasn't as good as the slightly more expensive hotel I stayed at, but it definitely did the job."

"A&O Venezia is located ~10 minutes from the train station and also ~5 minutes from the bus stop which takes you to the main island. Large building with a large working space and bar and offers free baggage storage which is nice of them. The bed is comfortable and big and the room is clean with air-con. The bed also has a small rack to place items and has both a charger and wall plug. However, the built-in charger seems out of date as it doesnt seem to have tje voltage to charge smartphones. So the wall plug is the only charging appliance. The toilet is clean and the shower comes with body wash + shampoo. However, it seems that there is a leak somewhere for the flooring. The whole toilet becomes wet after a shower and there is also a slight unpleasant smell."

"Honestly, I didn't expect to find such a great hotel at this price, and it even included breakfast – incredible value for money! The location was the absolute best part. It's only a five or six-minute walk from the train station, which was a huge relief when traveling with heavy luggage – so convenient for anyone on the go! Staying off the main island meant better prices and a quieter, more comfortable experience without the crowds. The breakfast far exceeded my expectations. There was a wide variety of food, they refilled dishes quickly, and everything tasted great – I was completely satisfied. The room decor was simple and practical, clean, and tidy, making for a very comfortable two-night stay. I have to praise the hot water system; it heated up fast and the temperature was stable, making for a fantastic shower experience. If you're looking to save money, save effort, and enjoy a comfortable stay in Venice, this place is definitely the right choice!"

"The hotel is located near the train station, about a seven to eight-minute walk away. The exterior design of the hotel looks very modern. However, the first room we were given only had a shower curtain in the bathroom, and water would spill out everywhere when showering, making the floor wet – I almost slipped. On top of that, the shower curtain smelled musty, which was quite disgusting. After speaking with the front desk, we were moved to another room with a glass door for the shower. This is a four-star hotel, and the official website photos showed a three-piece toiletry set (shampoo, conditioner, body wash). In reality, the room only had a three-in-one product for hand/hair/body washing. This is a significant difference in quality; typically, three-in-one products are found in hostels, B&Bs, and budget hotels, not a four-star establishment. This is misleading for consumers. When I first brought it up with the front desk, they said there was no three-piece set. After I showed them the official website photos on my second attempt, the front desk reluctantly provided body wash and body lotion."

There's a Chinese supermarket opposite the hotel, which is handy for buying water and other things cheaply. You can pay directly using the owner's WeChat Pay or Alipay."

"Great stay in Venice – highly recommended! I had a very pleasant stay at Staycity Apartments Venice. The apartment was clean, modern, and very well equipped. The bed was comfortable, and everything felt well maintained. The location is excellent – close to public transport and easy to reach both Venice island and the airport. Very convenient for business or leisure travel. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Venice."

"The hotel is very close to the train station, which makes getting to and from Venice Island very convenient. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old, and the bed is too soft. They only change the sheets, and the remaining cups are fixed, which I found a bit unacceptable. For the duvet, they just put a new sheet on top. The owner seems to be Chinese, and all the staff are Chinese. The room's soundproofing is terrible; the cleaning staff are too loud in the mornings and at noon, making it hard to sleep. I hope they can improve this. The only positive is that the breakfast is excellent! And considering the room rate, it's already one of the lowest in the area."

However, there's a good bus connection to Venice. You can get public transport tickets at the front desk. The amenities are perfectly adequate for a pleasant stay. All in all, it's a recommendable hotel for anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay with good connections to Venice."

"I really liked the hotel! It's close to the station. It's clean and has a stylish interior. The funny names everywhere clearly show it's a youth-oriented hotel. What also really impressed me is that this is the first budget hotel during our trip through France and Italy that offered a complete, familiar set of amenities for guests: slippers, a shower cap, a hygiene kit, toothbrush and toothpaste, and bottled water. The room also has a mini-fridge, which is a rarity in Europe. On the ground floor, there's a co-working space, a dining area, a gym, and a huge kitchen. I assume it's for the students who live here permanently, but we were able to heat up food from Spar and have an affordable dinner."
