The welcome begins with a traditional blessing ceremony, followed by fresh juice, sweets, and water. Everyone makes you feel genuinely looked after. The spa was very good, but the highlight of my stay was definitely breakfast. It is, without question, the best hotel breakfast I have experienced. The variety of choices is outstanding, the service is exceptional, and even the use of technology—a serving robot—adds a fun touch without taking away from the hospitality. There is one area that could be improved: cleaning . I found a hair in the bathtub, and the divan behind the cushions was dusty and hadn’t been cleaned properly. Next time, I will check the room when I arrive and ask for anything that needs attention to be cleaned. Despite that, I would happily stay at The Roseate again. The check-in process was smooth, and the service was quick throughout my stay. The hotel is conveniently located near IGI Airport, making it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. The food was tasty, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, affordable, and comfortable stay in Delhi. I would definitely choose Hotel Urban Lion again!

*Poor hospitality - hotel staff lying to guests & downgrading guest’s room type during their stay* This is my second time staying at this hotel, as I find the location and facilities suitable. However, I am extremely disappointed this time due to the poor level of hospitality. I booked my stay from February 11 to 14 initially, and then added one more night on February 10. We arrived at the hotel at 23:45 on February 10. When we checked in, we informed the staff that we had two bookings. At first, the staff asked us to check out and check in again on February 11. This was very strange and inconvenient for us. After some discussion, the staff said we did not need to check out and check in again on February 11. The room type was also upgraded to a suite, and the staff assured us that this upgrade would be valid for the entire stay until February 14. On February 11, around 16:00, we received a call from the hotel informing us of issues on the entire 11th floor and requesting us to move to another room. This was very disturbing, as we had just checked in late the previous evening. Unpacking and repacking our bags exhausted us. The staff assured us that the new room would be of the same type as our current one. However, when we moved and reached the new room, it was a standard room. We are disappointed that the staff has been dishonest. How can a hotel downgrade a guest’s room during their stay? This is absolutely unacceptable. When we called the staff, they claimed that we had to leave the suite because it was full. The reason given earlier (issues on the 11th floor) was a lie. Moreover, we did not receive a room of the same type as our original one. This has been a completely horrible experience for us. When we returned at night, we saw that some guests were going to the 11th floor, which indicates there are no issues there. This clearly shows that the staff's explanation was false. I hope there will be an explanation. Is this discrimination because I am not a local Indian? I also believe that better training for your staff is needed. This kind of hospitality only damages the hotel’s reputation. I am also providing the upgraded and downgraded room type as a proof of this comment.

I had a generally positive stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for a short stop near the airport. The location is very convenient, the staff were kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent with good quality food. I also appreciated the complimentary drop-off service to the airport. The main area for improvement is cleanliness, specifically in the bathroom. The toilet seat clearly needed a deeper clean, and it gave the impression that some details are being overlooked during housekeeping. This seems like an easy fix with a bit more attention and consistency. One small note as well: the driver who provided the drop-off was a bit insistent about tipping. It wasn’t a major issue, but something management may want to be aware of to ensure guests don’t feel uncomfortable. Overall, this is a solid, well-located hotel with friendly service and good amenities. With a bit more attention to cleaning details, it would be an excellent stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful four-night stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect—the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the staff was exceptionally warm, polite, and helpful. The hospitality was outstanding, and the entire atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Every detail made my stay truly special. My review would be based on my 4-day stay and will only be fair and square. The hotel is located in a bsuy area of main bazaar, so expect noisy neighborhood with honking cars and shouting people. The place is not that secure, if that is your concern. The hotel is in a neighborhood of slums (yes, i explored the inner streets and alleys). The hotel though is decent, good value for your money. Transportation is a bit difficult (especially if you will book indrive or uber) since it is a busy and narrow street, cars and motorbikes don't go much often there (they get stuck in traffic). The hotel room is okay. I booked a double room (i am a solo traveler but i want a big bed). They put two single beds together, so i can't really sleep in the middle because i sink in. The room is small. When I arrived, i was greeted by three medium sized cockroaches -two in the bedside table and one in bed. I managed to kill them though :-). Shower water is not always available. You can order food 24/7, and it was tasty (the falafel however is salty).. i paid roughly 100 usd for my stay. Internet connection is fast and reliable but you need to log-in everytime you get disconnected. Secutiry of the hotel itself is lax. In fact, they have a notice that THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THEFT WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THE THINGS ARE STOLEN IN YOUR ROOM :-)... Visitors are not allowed. They provide airport pick-up and drop-off but the same is too costly (10usd) but in-app booking is only half the price (and even less). Hotel staff are willing to help you anytime foof the day - for a price. They always ask for tip (as in always).... Their tours are relatively competitive and at par with other providers. Breakfast is bad (i forced myself to finish the pancake, bread and omelette). The utensils, plates and glasses were dirty (watermarked in the glasses). They provide electric kettle in the room but no coffee or tea provided, nor mugs. Pillows and bed were soft, aircon is good but television not much choices. The only english content is the news. Will i recommend this hotel to friends? Yes if on tight budget. Otherwise, find a better one.

The hotel’s about a 10-minute walk from Aerocity Metro Station, and there are loads of taxis and tuk-tuks right outside—super easy to get around. The air conditioning worked well. I didn’t really notice any noise issues. The room and hotel were generally clean, though I did see one small cockroach in the room. Just a small one. No hot water for the shower. Refridge worked great. One thing to watch out for: everyone seemed really focused on getting tips. Your room key stops working every day at noon, so you have to go to the front desk to reset it. Then someone will escort you to your room—and ask for a tip. If you want to use the Wi-Fi, you have to ask the front desk for a password slip that only works for one device and only for one day. Each time you go back for a new slip, they expect a tip again. I'm sure this hotel was beautiful back in its heyday, but clearly has not been renovated in decades. I would NOT stay here again. Top complaint: WiFi did not work the 3 days/nights that I stayed at the hotel and the staff was completely unhelpful in resolving this issue. This is *unacceptable* for business travelers and was a huge inconvenience. Medium complaint: The gym is far too small for a hotel with hundreds of guests. There was also only one yoga mat which had to be shared amongst many sweaty exercisers. Minor complaints: The rooms smell strange, the room decor is quite old-fashioned, and the bars of soap are very poor quality (and fluorescent green). Positives: The outdoor garden is lovely and the freshly made masala dosas at breakfast were tasty.
