"Very good location next to train station. Very quiet location but also orime for shopping and night life. Short walk. Local shops and takeaways. Abundance of chain restaurants short distance. Apartments very clean, and had everything required. Was better than a hotel stay. Could cook and had dishwasher if needed. Free 24 hour tea and coffee from lobby and complimentary quants in the morning. Staff are very friendly and helped for local restaurant selection. They also support the homeless when you purchases slippers. They also offer discount for a car park 5 min walk away. Would definitely stay here again"

"Very easy checked in and out. Hotel is very near to the Newcastle Central train station and attractions. Although encountering small issues with the room air conditioner, the issue was fast being resolved and the staff in charged was very kind to give us the breakfast as a token of compensation. All the staff are friendly and a hotel to stay when you’re here in Newcastle."

"Lovely hotel in excellent location. However, when got back to our room in the evening, there was a loud disco going on above us, from the brochure of the hotel it was indicated this would end at midnight. We still heard it at 2am . We also tried to order room service and got no answer on phone. Finally, we were woken at 8am Sunday morning by what sounded like cleaners moving all the furniture and scrapping the floor. We mentioned it on checking out, and although the staff apologised, it did not sound very sincere. Would be reluctant to return ."

"The property was generally clean and well maintained. Service was standard, and amenities were minimal. However, the sound insulation seemed weak, and voices from the hallway late at night were quite noticeable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep."

"Great location, within walking distance to both the train station and St. James' Park. I had already paid for the hotel when I booked it, but they asked for my credit card again during self-check-in. I had to find a staff member to process it manually afterwards, so be careful about that. The room was very spacious, and I could fully open my suitcase. The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak."

"We had a really good stay here. The staff were kind, helpful, and professional throughout. When our air conditioning was not working properly, we called for assistance and someone came to check it within five minutes, which was impressive. At check-in, the staff also recommended some places to visit nearby, which was very helpful. Breakfast was made to order, so you could choose what you liked from the menu. I thought this was a brilliant idea, as it helps reduce waste and gives guests more choice."

"Upon checking in the lade receptionist was quite rude to us never smiled either . In the evening we went to eat in the bar salad came with mud still on the leaves which then put us off our meals, I asked for refund . Receptionist came refunded our salad but not once from the restaurant staff or the receptionist did I receive an apology which is unheard of . Later I asked same receptionist for a late checkout as being a Leonardo Hotels member you can get this free of charge he said yes I shall mark that down. Today at 10am I was wanting to check that the evening receptionist had noted it down luckily I had checked as he hadn't even done it . The lady receptionist had to put it on . Would I stay again absolutely not ."

"Fantastic stay, when we arrived there was a problem with our room but the issue was sorted straight away. The room was lovely. We had a fantastic view. We had an executive room so had access to the lounge which as lovely, high tea in the after, drinks and hot food at teatime."

"The facilities are relatively new, but there's no main light in the bedroom, making it very dim at night. The bathroom is quite spacious, but lacks heating. The shower has great water pressure, which is a plus. There's a mini-fridge with two complimentary bottles of water, and you can ask the front desk for more if needed. The cleanliness was generally acceptable. The hotel's location is close to the train station. You can faintly hear the train from the room, but it wasn't a major issue. It's an 8-minute walk from the train station to the hotel, but you have to go around the front of the station to get to the back where the hotel is situated. This can be a bit challenging if you have heavy luggage, as the path isn't entirely flat and requires some effort. For service, the front desk offers luggage storage. However, there was only one person at the front desk during check-in, so I had to wait for quite a while."

"Helpful friendly staff at reception Good location. The bathroom in my room had an unpleasant odour, smell, possibly the pipes from the toilets, was clean but the smell was very unpleasant. Bathroom needs ripping out & updating & new pipes for toilet. Not good for light sleepers like myself - can hear drunks outside & people outside at night. The train going past on the bridge is a lil noisy & the guests in other room made noise. Comfy bed & nice sized room & view. Hard working housekeepers who do an EXCELLENT job 💫💫💫 Good value for money."
