"The service was wonderful. The staff were genuinely friendly, not just smiling because they had to. I had an issue with my room, and it was resolved very quickly and with great kindness. The hotel is located close to a market with several restaurants and two supermarkets, one of which is open 24 hours a day. It is also very close to Sea Life and the roller coaster attractions, making it a great choice for families and anyone planning to visit those areas. If your main goal is to visit the city centre, there are several bus routes and a tram stop right in front of the hotel. You can also rent a bike or an e-scooter and enjoy the ride through the park, which is a lovely option in good weather. If the weather is bad, the location is less convenient for getting to the city centre. However, when it isn't raining or extremely cold, the location is excellent and offers a much quieter, greener environment. One feature I really liked was the hotel's fantastic guest kitchen. I didn't use it myself, but it looked ideal for families travelling with children or for anyone planning a longer stay. The hotel also has a gym, a lovely rooftop terrace, and complimentary laundry facilities where you can wash and dry your clothes free of charge. There is also a sauna and a steam room, which are a great bonus after a day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with children or for travellers who don't need to be in the city centre all the time and would rather enjoy the surrounding parks and forests while still having easy access to the main attractions."

"1. The price is moderate, about 100.0 to 120.0 EUR per night, and the accommodation quality is good. 2. The room view is decent, and the room itself is very clean. 3. The hotel does not have a restaurant. For breakfast, you need to go to 'Cafe Roasberg' next to the hotel. It's a standard European breakfast, but as an Asian, I can't objectively rate it because I personally prefer Asian cuisine. 4. Both check-in and check-out were very easy. If I had any questions, I could easily find the hotel staff to ask."

"With a very cheap price for a hotel very closed to the central station, I can’t say any bad word. I booked a cheapest room with breakfast. It is a not luxury, but a small room which has everything and everything works fine. Beds are so soft and comfy, I slept really well. Breakfast is really good. I can’t believe this is a breakfast from a cheap hotel, much much better than many of pricey hotels I’d stayed."

"Scandic Kallio is a very convenient location as it is walking distance to the tram and bus lines. It also has a nice park in front of the hotel. The hotel room was clean and bed linens and towels clean and fresh. Breakfast offers a nice spread of continental and Finnish foods. Everything was fresh and delicious."

"The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, cooking utensils, and cutlery, but no seasonings. There were some seasonings in the common kitchen, so I guess it's okay to use those. However, when I checked at night, some party people had taken over the shared kitchen, which was disappointing. The sauna was nice, but instead of a cold plunge, it was lukewarm water. Also, the party people were chatting the whole time, so I couldn't really relax. Check-in and check-out are self-service, but there's always someone in the staff room, so it was good to be able to ask questions when I needed help. There were no towels in my room for some reason, but when I asked, they brought one right away, which was a lifesaver. I was happy that the room had a washing machine, detergent, and a drying rack. But it was a mystery that there was no hairdryer. You have to borrow one from a locker on a specific floor. I was lucky there was one left when I borrowed it, but it would be tough if there weren't any available. The shared lounge was great with various seating options. The hotel is right in front of the tram station, has a supermarket nearby, and it only takes about 20 minutes to get to Helsinki Central, which is very convenient."

"The staff are friendly, they have a kitchen. When many people cook at the same time. It’s a little crowded. The sign on the wall clearly says that everyone should wash their pots and dishes after cooking. Unfortunately, some guests still leave without cleaning up after themselves. It's inconsiderate and makes the shared kitchen unpleasant for everyone."

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay. We were a bit disappointed by the lack of some amenities, but in hindsight we realized that these were listed incorrectly on Trip.com. Lesson learned—it’s better to check the amenities directly on the hotel’s official website. The location is excellent. The airport bus stops right in front of the hotel, and there’s a supermarket next door, which makes it very convenient. If you’re looking for a simple, comfortable stay in a great location, I would definitely recommend this hotel. A nice bonus was the separate sauna, which was a great place to relax after a day out."

Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and everything felt neat and thoughtfully arranged. After long days exploring the city, it was a great place to rest and recharge. We also loved the hotel’s unique design and cozy atmosphere—it felt modern but still warm and welcoming. The common areas were spacious and nicely decorated, perfect for relaxing or chatting together as a group. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and key attractions in Helsinki. Breakfast was another highlight: good variety, fresh ingredients, and a nice Scandinavian touch that our group really enjoyed. Overall, Scandic Paasi delivered exactly what we were looking for: a clean, comfortable, and high-quality hotel experience.
