My 7 and 8-year-olds enjoyed the breakfast. The indoors were slightly cold, but bearable enough to stay in a Korean apartment without the heater on. The indoor pool is 1.5 meters deep, so it is difficult for children to play in alone. The indoor sauna has a lake view, which is nice. Overall, it is not bad."

"This hostel is super close to the ferry terminal (though only one of the three operators) and within walking distance of the city center, with a tram running every 10 minutes. It's clean, tidy, and quiet, and the attic sauna is a great bonus for those who use it. The front desk staff speak good English and are helpful with various requests. The rooms are decent enough, though you have to make your own bed, and the bedside lamp is too bright, illuminating both beds instead of just one. There's one kitchen and one bathroom (separate for men and women, of course) per floor. The optional breakfast is very poor – I can't recall such a meager menu, and I visit several places a year. For instance, there's practically nothing for vegans, only one coffee from a thermos, tea, and what I think was some kind of compote (forget about juice), and only one hot item. The unmade beds and poor breakfast really detract from the overall impression, in my opinion. If these things don't bother you, you'll be happy, especially considering the prices of other accommodations in the area..."

"We stayed here for just one night and the location is near the railway station and most of the tourists attractions in walk distance. The rooms is quite spacious except the towels smell like long time no change.. can’t find the phone in room to contact the front desk but they did reply through email as a timely manner. The hotel is quite big so needs some walk inside to get to the room, no bellboy to handle your luggage. And suitcase storage is a room with lock but without any tag attachment service. Guest just put the suitcases themselves in and the space may be not enough so some of the suitcases need to be put outside the room with no particular person to take care of. Overall, good to have a short stay here. The breakfast choice is various and food is good"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right out of the train station on the right-hand side. You don't even need to cross the road – it's super close and convenient. The front desk staff were quite good, very warm and friendly. However, the room was really small, and the breakfast was just okay, nothing particularly special or outstanding. It was pretty standard. The room wasn't big; compared to the hotel we stayed at on our first night in Helsinki, which was just across the street, that hotel had a super spacious room where we could open two large suitcases with no problem at all. Here, though, it felt very cramped."

"Breakfast was heavenly, but the details were a deal-breaker. First, the positives: The breakfast definitely deserves five stars. It was exceptionally generous, a rarity for Nordic hotels, with a great variety of cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, meatballs, and baked beans, all authentically prepared and high-quality. The dining environment was bright and comfortable. The sauna was also a plus; sitting by the window after a steam, enjoying the lake view, park greenery, and passing trams, was incredibly relaxing. However, the rest of the stay went downhill from there. The room facilities were disappointing: No coffee machine, tea bags, or electric kettle. If you wanted a hot drink, you had to go down to the lobby on the first floor, and even then, coffee and tea cost extra. In 2026, this is seriously outdated, especially inconvenient for travelers who like a hot beverage in the morning. The cleanliness was concerning: There were hairs left in both the bathtub and on the towels, and stains around the tub's edge. I had to scrub it myself before I felt comfortable using it. For a four-star hotel, this cleaning standard is completely unacceptable. In summary: If you're only coming for breakfast, I'd highly recommend it. But if you plan to stay overnight, be prepared for a 'self-service' mentality. The location and views are decent, but the service and hardware details really let it down. I hope the hotel addresses these issues."
