The hotel is not far from the main train station and easily accessible by public transport. The staff were friendly. The room was a bit small, but it had a separate hallway area with a wardrobe. The bathroom was nice with a good layout. The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I was very satisfied with my stay.

This hotel has a very modern design, which is great. The breakfast selection is quite rich. The surroundings of the hotel are very peaceful and green. There's a metro station and light rail station within 500 meters, making public transport convenient. The front desk staff provided prompt service. We booked a room with an extra bed, but when we checked in and got to our room, we found there was no extra bed. Since it was already midnight, the housekeeping staff had gone off duty. To our surprise, the front desk attendant quickly helped us set up the extra bed. LOL.

The room isn't huge, but it's sufficient. The bathroom and bedding were clean. They provided a complimentary bottle of water. However, the mattress dipped in the middle, which wasn't very comfortable. The location is incredibly convenient, very close to the subway station. There's a PENNY supermarket just across from the hotel's side entrance. Breakfast was mediocre. The lids on the hot food containers need repair; they wouldn't stay open. I'm quite tall, and even I had trouble closing them once opened. One day, a lid wouldn't stay open while I was serving myself, and it fell and hit my hand. It broke the skin, and seven days later, I still have a large bruise. (The restaurant supervisor gave me some medicine). The room had a balcony, which was lovely, but it seemed unused for a long time. The table and chairs were dusty, and there were even cobwebs. I wiped some of it, but stopped because my arm started to hurt. If you're a solo traveler and don't spend much time in the room, I wonder if the hotel has rooms without balconies, which might offer more interior space.

The hotel room is very comfortable. The bedsheets smell hygiene and good. I love the bathroom with beautiful bathtub 🛀. They provide very comfortable bathrobes by default. Their service is excellent. Can ask for extra still water and standard stuff without charging. I would definitely wanna book the same hotel if I am in Munich. Location is just next to the main interchange train station with direct ride to Munich Airport.

Let's start with the spa - an oasis of relaxation and rejuvenation. From the moment I stepped into the tranquil haven of the Vier Jahreszeiten Spa, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of serenity and well-being. The spa facilities are impeccable, featuring a range of treatments and therapies that cater to every guest's needs. The expert therapists displayed a deep understanding of their craft, ensuring a customized and revitalizing experience. After indulging in one of their signature massages, I felt completely refreshed and invigorated. The spa's attention to detail and commitment to providing a sanctuary of calmness was truly impressive. As for the location, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski is a true gem in the heart of Munich. Situated on the prestigious Maximilianstrasse, it offers an ideal home base for exploring the vibrant city. From the hotel, you can easily reach Munich's iconic attractions, designer boutiques, and renowned dining establishments. The convenience of being able to stroll through the historic city center or simply step outside to admire the beauty of Maximilianstrasse made my stay even more enjoyable. It's a testament to the hotel's commitment to offering guests the best of Munich right at their doorstep. The overall experience at Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski was nothing short of exceptional. The luxurious accommodations, attentive staff, and attention to detail throughout the property were all factors that contributed to a memorable stay. The blend of classic elegance and modern amenities created an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere, which I found to be both comfortable and inspiring. In conclusion, Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich is a top-tier hotel that truly understands the art of hospitality. The remarkable spa and the unbeatable location in the heart of Munich set it apart as a destination that caters to travelers seeking a perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience the best of Munich in a luxurious and welcoming setting.

At this hotel, I had trouble using the induction hob because I wasn't familiar with its operation. I contacted Trip.com customer service, and even though it was late and I couldn't cook on the first night, they were very proactive in helping me communicate with the hotel staff. The next day, the hotel staff came and tested it, confirming it was working, and even wrote down the operating instructions for us. I'm really grateful to both Trip.com and the hotel staff. This hotel is very close to the subway, and there are shopping malls and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient. The room is spacious, and we had no problem opening up two 28-inch suitcases. The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils and even includes seasonings.

We were pretty satisfied with our room and felt it was well appointed for the price. We got the twin bed room and felt it was pretty spacious with lots of room for our things. They had a closet area, two stools, a table, side tables by the beds, and a small TV. The wifi was pretty strong during our stay too. The bathroom was good too with good shower pressure and temperature. They have an all in one body wash/shampoo so you may want to bring your own products. The hotel does not use key cards but instead has codes to unlock the doors. The beds were comfy and the linens were clean and new. The pillow was thin but it was fine for what we needed. The temperature is pretty easy to control in this room with an AC unit and radiator but we didn't need either in December. We got a good night's sleep both nights at this hotel. The area is quiet when it matters but it should be noted that the nearby church starts ringing its bells at 8 am and some of the businesses nearby make a bit of noise later in the night as they close. The hotel is in a decent area with lots of convenience stores and middle eastern restaurants nearby. It is about a 10 minute walk away from Munich's Central Station and has good tram access around the area to get to most of Munich's major sites pretty quickly. We did get lots of walking done while in Munich and felt the area our hotel was in was pretty safe. The hotel does have a small common area in the lobby and a small garden. You can get a drink or some snacks at the front desk. The hotel does offer breakfast for an additional fee on the top floor and if you are a member through their application you can get a slight discount. There is a parking garage underneath the hotel and some street parking nearby. You may need to call ahead to confirm parking because it is a small hotel and street parking is limited. They offered luggage storage for us when we arrived early but needed time to clean the rooms so they could not provide early check in. The front staff were nice and efficient.

Overall, a rather average experience – especially for a 4-star hotel. The location is definitely the biggest advantage of the hotel, as it is very conveniently located close to the main train station. The hotel was also flexible and helpful with a few practical things: luggage storage worked without any problems, and getting a second room key was also straightforward. Unfortunately, the actual hotel standards were less convincing. The room was generally clean, but the cleaning felt rather superficial. There was still some dust and dirt in the corners, including in the bathroom. It wasn’t bad enough to make us uncomfortable, but for a 4-star hotel, we expected a higher level of cleanliness. One of the biggest issues was that the air conditioning was not working during our stay. We were not informed about this in advance or when checking in. Luckily, there was a thunderstorm during the night, which cooled things down a little. Without that, the lack of air conditioning could have been a significant problem. The room amenities also felt rather basic. The pillows were far too thin, and the towels in the bathroom felt almost like disposable towels and were not particularly comfortable. Overall, there was a recurring impression that the hotel was providing the bare minimum rather than trying to offer a proper 4-star experience. The breakfast itself had a reasonable selection and was generally fine. However, the breakfast room was located in the basement and felt quite dark and cramped. There was also one unpleasant interaction at breakfast. When I arrived, I was asked for my room number and gave it as requested. A few minutes later, a staff member came back and told me that breakfast was not included in my booking. The way this was communicated felt more like an accusation than a simple question or clarification. I was quite sure that I had booked breakfast, and after checking again, she found that it was indeed included. There was no real apology afterwards. This may well have been an isolated incident, but the interaction was still unpleasant and did not improve the overall impression. Overall, our stay was average to slightly below average. Given the price and the expectations that come with a 4-star hotel, we expected considerably more. The location is really the main highlight.

facilities: I was surprised there was a toilet/shower in the dorm room which is very convenient. Everything is clean and modern. There's a kitchen for use or you can also order from the bar (ground floor or rooftop) Location: walking distance to the train/metro station, there's also a tram stop right in front of the hostel. I get to Marienplatz from hostel within half hour. Could be improved : wifi is very weak in the room.
