Hotels near Xujiahui Station, Shanghai

The location is excellent! There's a supermarket right next door which is super convenient, plus a few restaurants. It's also very close to Jiaotong University and all sorts of shopping malls are in the vicinity, so it's really handy. You can easily catch a ride right outside the entrance. The service from the young man was also very good. Overall, it's pretty decent.

The location is indeed excellent and very convenient for getting around, which is its biggest advantage. However, the experience in other aspects was rather mediocre, and I hope they can improve. The breakfast is 69 yuan per person, which isn't cheap, but the variety is limited. It's basically the same few items every day, and they're not replenished promptly. If you go a bit later, some dishes are already empty. The chefs at the noodle and wonton stations were quite aloof, which wasn't a great experience. The room cleaning felt a bit haphazard. Upon closer inspection, there were many neglected spots with visible dust and hair. One of the power outlets was broken, and it wasn't fixed even after reporting it, which was inconvenient. The parking lot barrier isn't automatic. Every time we entered or exited, the driver had to honk several times before the front desk heard and opened it. It was quite a hassle each time. For this price and location, I really hope they can improve the facilities and service details, otherwise, it's truly a shame.

This was my best experience in a hotel in China. Everyone was so nice!! I should go back to SH every year and I think I'll stay there again and again!!

Conveniently located near the subway, with a shopping mall, church, and Xujiahui Academy nearby. It's right next to Xuhui High School, which you can even visit during the Qingming Festival – it's quite a beautiful campus. The room itself was decent, though the facilities are a bit dated. The window couldn't be opened, making it a little stuffy, and the lighting at night was a bit dim. However, the cleanliness was well-maintained. The housekeeping staff were quite friendly. Breakfast was extensive, leaning towards Western options, with plenty of cakes and breads. I noticed a lot of foreigners dining there. The afternoon tea is also highly recommended – very substantial.

Pros: The room was quite spacious for Shanghai and well thought. The shower unit with small sink is separated from the toilet. Water pressure is ok. The beds were comfortable. The room was cleaned everyday. The hotel is situated in strategic location but expected to walk around 12-15 min to the nearest metro station. Cons: The infrastructure doesn't look that old but it won't age well for example so parts were falling out as the outlet cover after one use. We went end of March/beginning of April and the A/C unit/central unit wasn't ready so we couldn't use it which means that the room temperature is constantly around 25/30°C during the day even with windows opened. The staff is really passive during check-in no explanation for how to use the eleveator that are in the buidling next door. Some renovation works were happening during our stay and we were never informed properly ahead such as the laundry room being moved to another floor or the main hall being blocked so you have to use another entry.

I have to give a shout-out to the front desk staff! Their service was incredibly thoughtful throughout my stay. The check-in process was efficient and seamless, and they even proactively offered recommendations for local attractions. They were so friendly and patient, and always responded quickly to any last-minute requests for help. Truly professional and kind. The clean and comfortable environment combined with the fantastic front desk service made this a perfect stay. I'll definitely be back!

After checking in at night, I noticed that the mini-bar snacks, which Trip.com listed as a three-pack, only contained two packs (missing one pack of shrimp crackers). I took a photo and then ate one. On my way downstairs, I mentioned it to the male front desk staff and showed them the photo. When I returned to my room later that evening, there was still only one pack, and nothing further happened. I checked out at 6:50 AM to catch a train from Hongqiao Railway Station. After boarding the train, I realized my black Parker pen was missing (I've had it for at least ten years; the cap is cracked, but I'm used to it and never wanted to replace it). At 8:18 AM, I called the male front desk staff. They said they would inform housekeeping to check and then contact me, confirming they had my phone number. Over an hour passed, and it was nearly 10 AM with no update. I called again, and they said housekeeping hadn't yet cleaned room 2006. After I expressed strong dissatisfaction, they agreed to contact housekeeping to check. They then called back saying they had looked and found nothing. Now, I seriously doubt they even bothered to check, or at least didn't look carefully. [sigh]

The room layout was well-designed and functional, spotlessly clean. I especially loved the bathroom area; the spot for grabbing clothes, then right out to the mirror and soft stool for drying hair – the flow was incredibly well-thought-out. There's also a large space opposite the sofa, perfect for luggage. The location is fantastic too, right next to Xujiahui Metro Line 1 station. Grand Gateway 66, Metro City, and Xujiahui Library are all within easy walking distance. The hotel's breakfast and late-night supper options were good, and the welcome fruit selection was rich and high-quality. Plus, breakfast extends until 11 AM on holidays, which is a huge bonus. My only minor gripe is that it would be even better if the two elevators were a bit faster; waiting times could be quite long unless you happened to catch one just arriving. Otherwise, everything was excellent and highly recommended! 👍🏻 **Welcome Goodie Basket - 'Greedy Cat's Basket':** Crisps, tea, juice, bottled water. **Late-Night Supper:** Noodles, wontons, congee. **Welcome Fruits:** Shine Muscat grapes, cherries, blueberries, apples, nectarines, cherry tomatoes – a rich variety and delicious too.

This hotel is located on West Guangyuan Road in Xujiahui, close to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, giving it a strong academic vibe! The front desk and room service staff are all very kind, warm, and attentive! A special shout-out to Dolly, the lovely lady at the front desk, who enthusiastically explained the membership policies and local tips to us. We were really touched!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean, and it was clear that the hotel is quite new. The room had one large, comfortable bed, a private bathroom, as well as a kettle and a TV. Towels, toothbrushes, and all the essential amenities were provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. I also really liked the area. There are many interesting places nearby, and the metro station is within walking distance, which makes getting around very convenient. There are also plenty of places to eat in the area, which is a big advantage. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
