The most commendable thing about the Taiyuan Lingang Guesthouse is its courtyard, which makes parking convenient, quiet, and safe. (Unlike some street-facing hotels without courtyards, parking is not only difficult, but there are also sometimes people gathering at the entrance who are not sure what they are doing, which makes people feel unsafe.) The location is also very good, right across from the Shanxi Provincial Children's Hospital and close to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, making it very convenient for medical treatment.

Stayed at this hotel for several nights and the experience exceeded expectations, especially thanks to the front desk team and the comfort of the room. About the front desk: When checking in, the front desk staff was not only efficient, but also actively upgraded the room type. I noticed that I was carrying a suitcase, immediately handed a cup of warm honey water, and introduced the breakfast time, gym location and surrounding attractions in detail. I accidentally dropped the headphones when I checked out, and they quickly contacted and helped express it back. This carefulness and responsibility made me very touched. Regarding the room: I stayed in a double bed room, the overall simplicity and warmth. The bedding is soft and breathable, close to the spine, and the curtains have excellent shading, which ensures high-quality sleep. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the shower water is fast and stable, and the toiletries are herbal aroma, which is very soothing. The room was soundproofed and very quiet at night. The first round of the minibar is free, and a handwritten welcome card and fruit platter are also prepared. The details are very careful. Overall experience: From check-in to check-out, every link is smooth. The hotel is conveniently located, the breakfast is rich, and the service responds promptly. Next time I come to this city, this is still my first choice.

The service here is really good, and it's super convenient for dining and accommodation. Right outside the hotel entrance, there's a food street. If you turn left out of the main gate and walk straight, you'll reach a pedestrian street. If you turn right and cross the road, you'll find the Du Jun Fu (Governor's Mansion). If you like eating fruit, it's best to prepare some beforehand, as there are no fruit vendors within about a kilometer of the hotel. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Taiyuan.

The soundproofing is extremely poor. The sound from the TV and the woman's sex next door is extremely loud. The front desk called the neighbor and asked them to turn down the TV volume, but I still couldn't sleep because of the noise. Then after 11 o'clock, the woman started to sex again. It must be that the young people are super capable. I told the front desk again that the woman next door had been screaming all night and I couldn't sleep. Then they changed our room, but I could still hear the chatter from next door... I am impressed by the soundproofing. I will never go back!

I visited Taiyuan during the Chinese New Year and stayed at the Zhanghe Hotel. The location and service were excellent. I booked the hotel on the second day of the ***** New Year, and the price was very reasonable – only 360 yuan per night including breakfast for two. The room had a separate shower and toilet, which was very convenient. They also provided disposable toiletries such as towels, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Breakfast was served until 10 am; there was still food available around 8 am, but by 9 am, there wasn't much left, probably due to the large number of guests during the Spring Festival. Free parking was available, and I parked in the parking lot of the Jin Merchant Museum, which was very convenient. I also visited the museum. The hotel is just a few hundred meters from Liuxiang, Gulou Street, and the food street – perfect for shopping and eating! However, it was very crowded during the holiday; all the surrounding restaurants had long queues.

The location is great, near Liuxiang, with plenty of food options and easy access to transportation. On the second day, housekeeping left a note saying they wiped down our luggage. However, on check-in day, the room temperature was around 26 degrees Celsius, and the air circulation was poor. I'd subtly sweat even when doing nothing, though I initially dismissed it as me not being used to the 10-degree outdoor temperature. The next day, after returning from sightseeing, I found the AC on cool, yet the room was still at 27 degrees. The in-room phone to the front desk didn't work, so I used my mobile to call and ask if the high temperature could be adjusted. The front desk replied that the AC system had been broken for the past couple of days and said they'd check if housekeeping had a fan. About half an hour later, a man, not in uniform, knocked and said the hotel had no fans and the AC system was broken, with no solution available. It was already past 11 PM, so I didn't want to engage in a fruitless conversation and let him go. Later, past midnight, I noticed bloodstains on the pillowcase. I felt it wasn't worth bothering with, so I just set the pillow aside and didn't report it to the front desk.

My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was made exceptionally warm and welcoming by Evan at the front desk, and I must commend him! Evan's professionalism was truly impressive. Check-in was quick and efficient, completed in just a few minutes. He proactively and meticulously explained the hotel's facilities, breakfast hours, and Wi-Fi connectivity, patiently answering every question I had. Later, when I inquired about nearby restaurants and transportation, he not only provided detailed suggestions but also thoughtfully highlighted key information and even proactively coordinated luggage storage. Throughout the entire process, he was all smiles and incredibly attentive. It was Evan's proactive and detail-oriented service that made me feel right at home in this unfamiliar city, making my stay exceptionally pleasant. The Hilton Garden Inn truly has a rare find with such outstanding staff; I highly recommend him!

Environment: The surroundings are quite convenient with many restaurants and close proximity to the scenic spots. Service: There was only one front desk staff member, so the service was just okay.

I have stayed in Taiyuan for a few days in a row. Homeinn standard facilities and services, bathroom and TV are easy to use, bedding is clean, there are many fresh food and beverage convenience stores around the hotel, there are many bus stops, less than ten minutes walk from the subway station, breakfast is rich, there is freshly cooked knife noodles, there is a cooperative parking lot next door (free parking), The service attitude is very good and in place, and the overall evaluation is good. . .

The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Liuxiang business district in the city center. It's about a 400-meter walk to Zhonglou Street, Food Street, and the Jinshang Museum. Transportation is incredibly convenient, with Kaihuasi Subway Station right at the entrance. We were on a family trip and stayed in the Hollywood room (room 1111). The room features a smart control system, so you can just say ”Xiao Du Xiao Du” to open the curtains or turn lights on/off, which was really handy. The bed was huge, definitely big enough for three people, and the room was kept very clean. The service attitude was also great. We arrived quite early with our child before the room was ready, and the front desk and staff proactively asked if we needed to store our luggage and offered children's toiletries and slippers. What impressed me most was the breakfast! Wow, it was a fantastic surprise. I've traveled and stayed in many hotels, but the breakfast here is definitely one of the best. The food selection was extensive, from bread, fried shredded pancakes, fried rice, and freshly cooked noodles, to hot and cold dishes, various grilled sausages, soups, and a wide variety of drinks including coffee, milk, soy milk, orange juice, grapefruit juice, and more. It mainly featured Shanxi cuisine, which was excellent, and we were very pleased with that. Since we had our child, we paid an additional 34 RMB. I think there's a standard for this, like children over 1.5 meters pay 68 RMB for an adult meal ticket. Overall, we were very satisfied. If you're looking to visit places like Zhonglou Street and don't mind a slightly above-average price, I highly recommend this hotel.
