"We had an amazing stay. The room was clean, spacious and had a spectacular view from the 9th floor. Reception was helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was not bad, although it ends relatively early at 0930H. I would consider staying here again."

"Amazing location! The restaurant was surrounded by lots of restaurants and a bustling night market. Walking distance to many of the popular streets downtown. The room was clean and very comfortable and I really appreciated that there is a free washing machine/dryer to use. I booked the room with breakfast however due to an early flight I couldn’t eat so the front desk gave me extra snacks instead!"

"As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the doorman came forward enthusiastically to help me open the car door, took my luggage, and politely guided me to the front desk to check in. His thoughtfulness instantly dispelled my fatigue from the journey. The check-in process at the front desk was also very fast. However, the dishes served in the Chinese restaurant are up to the standards of a luxury hotel and taste very good. The room TV cannot be connected to the screen. The water temperature and pressure in the bathroom are very stable, which is great for a hotel located on a 15-story building. The toilet room is completely independent and not separated by glass. GGuest UserCould not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

TTongxinCFirst, the pros: 1) The location is excellent, just a 3-5 minute walk to the South Railway Station entrance. 2) It's situated amidst a cluster of new office buildings, offering a clean and elegant environment. The rooms are modernly furnished and feel spacious. 3) The service is warm and attentive; staff were always ready to assist. 4) The hotel front desk proactively upgraded our room. 5) The breakfast offers a good variety of choices. There are several small supermarkets nearby, and a mall is just across the street. 6) We were also pleasantly surprised with a welcome gift on check-in day, including fruit and pastries – a really nice touch! 👍 Areas for improvement: 1) The bed was too soft; after just two nights, my back was aching and I found it hard to straighten up. I wish there were an option for rooms with firmer mattresses. 2) There were no rubber shower slippers, and it was quite cold showering barefoot as there was no non-slip mat. As a workaround, the hotel kindly provided extra disposable fabric slippers, which I appreciated. I'd suggest the hotel consider keeping some disinfected slippers or non-slip shower mats available for guests in the future.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, right next to the subway, making it incredibly convenient to get around. It was also nice to be able to take an evening stroll around Yingze Park. However, the hotel itself was quite mediocre. The rooms felt stuffy and lacked proper ventilation, and the overpowering artificial scent in the lobby was very off-putting. During my two-day stay, the used towels weren't replaced after the first night. The complimentary water was also just haphazardly placed on the table. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the service felt quite inconsistent and unprofessional. I do appreciate that they proactively contacted me about an item I left behind and assisted with shipping it back.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel for one night, while going from Pingyao to Zhangjiajie. We arrived at the train station in the evening, and had to take the train the following morning. The hotel offers pickup and drop-off which was very convenient and comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, with snacks, tea and all the furnitures we could need. The staff was SO helpful: they ordered some food for us (everything on the app was in mandarin and we couldn't understand how to do it ourselves), recommended some local favorites, and delivered it to our room. They also helped us do laundry even though it was late in the evening, so we had clean clothes to continue our trip. All in all, our stay was excellent, and I couldn't recommend the hotel more.

TTarraleahExcellent location directly across the road from Maoye Plaza which is one of Taiyuan’s best shopping and dining destinations. The location means there’s a bit of traffic noise, and my room also had a bit of noise from the restaurant kitchen which was straight above, but it was all tolerable, especially for the convenience of the location. The room was very comfortable well-equipped, but cleanliness was a little down on what it should have been. Reception staff were most friendly and helpful, very quickly and happily helping when I had difficulty connecting to wifi. The breakfast was very good, with a healthy and tasty range of Chinese vegetable and meat dishes, salads, fruits, and more. I would very happily stay here again!

We can only put it in the aisle. . . And the various facilities are average: the bathroom faucet is very difficult to turn, the sink is small and easy to splash water, all are disposable paper cups, and there are no tea bags. . . The quality of toiletries is also poor, the breakfast is mediocre, and the noodles need to be cooked by yourself. . . . . . In addition to the good location and the good attitude of the service staff, if the quality of facilities and supplies can be improved, it may be more in line with Home Inns NEO's image!
