Hotels near Wangfujing Street, Beijing

The front desk staff and cleaning crew were all very friendly and always greeted us warmly. The hotel's location is excellent. It's right downstairs from a pedestrian street, and there's a subway station and bus stop nearby, making getting around incredibly convenient.

During my stay with family at the Sunworld Hotel in Beijing, I really enjoyed my stay. In the 7 days we stayed in April, I had quite the utmost quality of every hotel in the district. The twin room we stayed was very nice with 2 queen size beds that can be joined together to form a very spacious bed fit for a couple and a kid. The interior of the room was recently renovated with comfy beds and well deaigned bathroom. I would like to thank the cleaning lady on the 8th floor who would systematically clean rooms with the best quality experience, each day. Next, about the food for breakfast. I really enjoyed the food they offer at the hotel buffet, with lots of really cool options, such as noodles cooked on the spot, bread, fruit with watermelon and banana, and yogurt. I also appreciate the location of the hotel, with the site near the major sites, such as the Wangfujing shopping district, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Jingshan Park. I recommend this hotel because it is close to two metro stations in Beijing, Line 8's Jinyu Hutong and Line 5's Dengshikou, and the facilities are very high quality. It will be more perfect to include a running machine in the fitness room.

The hotel is old, but the location is very convenient for those of us who use public transportation, as it is very close to the metro station. I stayed here for a couple of days at the beginning of my trip and then traveled to other places. When I returned to Beijing, I chose to stay at this hotel again because the staff are very friendly. One staff member named Xiaosong (小松) kindly helped us carry our luggage to our room, as we were assigned to stay upstairs where there is no elevator. His offer of help was greatly appreciated and made our stay much more comfortable.

Pro Location is King: It’s a 5-minute walk from Beijing Railway Station. If you’re catching an early train, this is a lifesaver. Vibe: It’s an old courtyard house (former home of Edgar Snow). It feels authentic and ”Old Beijing” rather than a sterile corporate box. Price: Very hard to beat for this part of the city. You get a lot of character for a budget price. Quiet: Even though it’s near the station, the courtyard setting keeps the street noise out. Cons Tight Squeeze: The rooms are not too big. If you're traveling with huge suitcases, you’ll be playing Tetris to move around. Finding It: It’s in a hutong. It’s charming, but your first time finding it with bags can be a bit of a hunt. Basic Bathrooms: They’re clean and functional, but don’t expect a spa-like setup. The Bottom Line It’s perfect for backpackers or solo travelers who want a cool, historic home base in Beijing

Location was convenient. It's right by Tiananmen Station. A short walk from Tiananmen Square. About 30min walk to the Forbidden City and 40min walk to Jingshan Park. Very nice hotel, too bad it was under renovation and the garden was not accessible. Windows in my room were blocked by constructions so there were nothing to see. They do have a laundry room with two dryers and two washers.

The location is super convenient, and the service is great. The room was exceptionally clean. Next time I have a chance to visit Beijing, I'll definitely stay here again. It's also very close to the attractions. You can walk or take the subway.

Excellent location! It's super convenient to get here – just transfer from the airport line to Line 5, and the hotel is less than 20 meters from the subway exit. There are also great local spots nearby like Daoxiangcun and Heyan Roubing. It's the perfect choice for travelers stopping over in Beijing, and the price is incredibly good value for money, especially for this area. The rooms are well-equipped with smart toilets and memory foam mattresses. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – instead of young women, there were two handsome guys who were incredibly professional and enthusiastic. When I arrived late at night, I called the front desk for directions, and one of the guys actually came out to meet me! 🤝🤝🤝🤝

Tucked away in a lively area, this hotel offers great convenience for getting around. Shopping, dining, and attractions are all within walking distance. This is my third time staying here, and as someone sensitive to noise, I really appreciate how quiet it is and the excellent soundproofing. It's also very kid-friendly. The front desk staff, especially the young man, provided superb service!

I have to rave about the location – it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. You can walk to Metro Lines 1 and 5, making travel absolutely effortless. Step out of the hotel, turn left, and just 50 meters away is a mall with so many shopping and dining options, you'll be spoilt for choice. All your retail therapy and foodie needs are easily met! The room was an even bigger surprise. It was incredibly spacious and bright with fantastic natural light. The floor-to-ceiling window offered an amazing view – so comfortable to just lie there and take in the scenery. The facilities were also comprehensive. The pillows and mattress were incredibly comfortable; I slept like a baby and woke up completely refreshed. And let's not forget the breakfast on the second floor. The variety of Chinese and Western dishes was extensive, offering so many choices. Every morning, I left feeling completely satisfied. I had such a wonderful stay these past few days. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit!

Came for a concert and after looking at many places, I chose Manxin Hotel on Jinyu Hutong. It turned out to be an excellent choice in terms of location, surrounding amenities, and hotel service. When you exit Metro C with luggage, you can take the elevator directly from the food court under Wangfujing Center to ground level, so you don't have to carry your luggage up stairs. Turn right on the street, and it's a 3-minute walk to the hotel. To the right of the hotel entrance are Siji Minfu and Grandpa Don't Steep Tea. Guests can ask the lobby staff to help them get a number in advance, which is super convenient. Further down, there's Fangzhuan Factory Zhajiangmian, and the famous Gege makeup studio at Wangfu Century. Across the street, there's a 7-Eleven. Right next to the subway station is Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. This location is absolutely fantastic! The hotel is standalone, unlike other hotels I've stayed at in Beijing that share a lobby with other establishments. Check-in was quick, and staff helped with my luggage. The room was very clean and had no strange odors. When I returned in the evening, the cleaning lady had left a note saying she had wiped my suitcase, which I really appreciated. However, I wasn't informed at check-in that the room card would deactivate at 12 PM on the day of check-out. So, even though I had a late check-out, I was locked out when I returned after 12 PM. Luckily, a cleaning lady nearby verified my information and helped me open the door. Other than that, I was very satisfied with this trip and experienced Beijing's hospitality, even though the weather was really hot. Next time I come to Beijing, I'll likely choose this place again; it's convenient for getting everywhere.
