Our stay was absolutely delightful! The hotel staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and their professionalism made the check-in process swift and seamless. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The comfortable bedding ensured a great night's sleep. The Westin Tianyuan feels like a nouveau riche past its prime. While the hardware is showing its age, it's still acceptable. However, the service really needs improvement.
**Environment**: We stayed during the May Day holiday, and the booking price was quite high. As soon as we entered the room, there was a slight musty smell. We turned on the air circulator provided in the room, and it was as loud as a tractor.
**Service**: Even with earplugs, I was woken up in the middle of the night by the noise from the circulator. Later, my back started hurting, and I couldn't sleep because the mattress felt as hard as a **plank**. I checked it and, sure enough, the mattress was upside down. In the morning, I spoke with the front desk, and a housekeeping staff member confirmed that due to some guests preferring a firmer bed, they had intentionally flipped the mattress. Seriously? The Heavenly Bed is Westin's signature feature! I can't believe someone would desecrate it like that by flipping it over. And the front desk didn't even inform guests about this. Honestly, I didn't get any good sleep. I came here to enjoy my holiday, and running into something like this is just incredibly frustrating.

Thanks to Manager Cheng, a caring lady. She cleans the room very quickly and helps check if there is anything missing in the room every time I come. I feel her care for me as I am on business trips all year round. She always puts a few extra bottles of water in the room. She pays attention to small details and is willing to stay in a hotel with a human touch. She also recommends fun places and delicious snacks on weekends!

The room is located on the C1 floor of Wanda Plaza, with very convenient transportation, and the subway is within 5 minutes. Transportation, shopping and dining are very convenient. The promotional pictures are consistent with the actual situation. Even though we were facing a housing shortage during that time, the price didn’t go up much, which was very considerate.
Facilities: The projection quality is very good and the clarity is very high. The shower water is very strong and the faucet is temperature-controlled, so it is very comfortable to take a shower. Served with Jingtian water. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on. Open the curtains and you can see a small part of the river. The room and bathroom are really big, which is beyond my expectation.

Environment: Better than expected, with a warm, Instagram-esque decor. The room has a rooftop terrace, which was very comfortable. It's only a 20-30 minute e-bike ride from the southern and northern tourist attractions.
Service: The owner was very attentive and personally picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel.
Amenities: Plenty of hot water, effective air conditioning, and the room comes with disposable bath towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and face towels.

KKafeihentianEvery staff member at the hotel was incredibly kind and patient. They'd escort you to your room, help with luggage, and all visible snacks and drinks were complimentary. It was very relaxing. Getting to Sanfang Qixiang was also super convenient. The room had tea and books, and these books introduced famous figures and literati who lived in Sanfang Qixiang.
Welcome fruits and a greeting gift were delivered directly to the room.
For the Chinese bead stringing cultural experience, my child still wears the beads they strung themselves.
Besides these, you could also make your own postcards and lacquer fans.
Finally, we even received a parting gift.
Fuzhou's winter really isn't cold at all; I even saw mosquitoes!

The room was an Executive King, very spacious, and even included a hot tub with bath salts for a relaxing soak. The slippers were of good quality, not the usual disposable fabric type.
Breakfast selection was quite good for a four-star hotel, featuring hot dishes. You could even customize your own hot pot with options like beef eye, fish balls, and more. It really had a distinctive Fujian flavor.

Environment: The view was fantastic, overlooking the Min River. We got to watch the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful.
Facilities: The TV wasn't a smart TV, so we couldn't cast anything to it. Hopefully, they'll update that soon. I really liked the toiletries, though.
Breakfast: There was a good variety of options, but the taste was just average. It was extremely crowded, and there was a lot of waiting in line.

It's also very close to the subway station, making getting around a breeze. The hotel's cleanliness is good, and the rooms aren't small, with all the necessary amenities. I hope the breakfast selection could be a bit more varied, but it's not a big deal since Fuzhou has so many great local snacks. On the last day, they kindly extended my check-out time to 2:30 PM, which was very thoughtful and perfectly aligned with my train schedule. Excellent service!

GGuest UserBooked too late, so all the hotels in the city center couldn't accommodate my booking requirements. I had no choice but to opt for Shoukia Junlan Hotel. The hotel's location is indeed a bit out of the way, but it's right by a subway station, which is convenient for those without a car. The subway goes directly to the Sanqixiang Scenic Area. Since I arrived quite late on the day of check-in, I had dinner directly at the ground floor restaurant. The hotel's Chinese food was quite good and the portions were generous. We ate until past 9 PM, and the staff were still very polite and didn't complain. Also, Auntie Zhu Yuanyuan, our room attendant on the tenth floor, was incredibly warm and polite, always ready to help with anything we needed. She promptly arranged anything we requested. Highly recommend!

AAnh-BaoThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.
