"I highly recommend the New Central Hotel in Macau Peninsula! The location, service, and cleanliness are all top-notch. From the room, you get a direct view of Grand Lisboa, and from the rooftop, you can see St. Paul's Ruins and panoramic views of the entire peninsula. The fountain is just a short walk from the hotel, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. It's also super convenient to order food delivery when it's hot, and you can walk to the Lisboa Casino. The only minor drawback in the room is its size, but everything else is perfect. Besides the usual water and coffee, they also provide complimentary snacks, drinks, wine, and beer – it's incredibly comfortable! The cleanliness is impeccable, spotless in every corner. I also loved admiring the hotel's vintage decor and overall ambiance!"

"The service was good, and the restaurant staff were all friendly and hardworking. There were too many people queuing for check-in; the self-service machine showed that my reserved room type wasn't available, so I had to queue again. The front desk staff were very polite and proactively followed up on the room cleaning status. The room was also comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The buffet was decent, not as bad as some reviews suggested. The dinner dishes were innovatively prepared, and the breakfast offered a good selection of Chinese options, including made-to-order choices by a chef, as well as the usual Western selections. The location is also very convenient; it's easy to catch a ride from the lobby on the upper floor, and it's only a 15-minute walk to Senado Square. Overall, the experience was good, except for the 25-minute wait to check-in on a weekend."

"Stayed at Hotel Kyoto in Macau for two days and had a really good overall experience. The location is definitely a plus – you can walk to St. Paul's Ruins and Rua de Cinco de Outubro, making it super convenient for shopping and finding food. The room was clean and tidy, and the living environment was comfortable. It saved a lot of hassle traveling with elderly people and children. It's a quiet spot despite being central and very convenient for getting around. For families visiting Macau, it's a great value-for-money accommodation choice."

"We checked into the Sky Seaview King Room, and when we plugged in the kettle's base, it sparked, emitted black smoke, and blackened my finger. My family was so scared they didn't dare to plug anything else in. After communicating with the hotel, we were offered a room change and a late check-out. They moved us to a Sky Seaview Twin Room with a slightly better view but significantly smaller in size. I discussed with the front desk that there was a price difference between twin and king rooms on the platform, and I felt the late check-out was justified, especially since my family nearly got electrocuted. However, the front desk stated that both room types were the same price and they couldn't control platform pricing, suggesting we contact the platform. Their attitude also made me uncomfortable. So, I contacted the platform's customer service, requesting to be moved back to the original Sky Seaview King Room. The platform customer service informed me that Sky Seaview King Rooms were only available on lower floors, or we could switch to a triple room without a sea view. We opted for the low-floor seaview king room. There might have been a misunderstanding between the platform and the hotel, as they then moved us to a triple room. From the exploding socket to the room changes, it took over two hours of hassle. All we wanted was to rest properly, but the soundproofing was terrible; we constantly heard people talking loudly in the hallway, and even on the lowest fan setting, the air conditioner's motor was noisy. The experience was truly awful, and I won't consider staying here again."

"The room was quite spacious, and the front desk staff upgraded us to a sea view room. The overall facilities and amenities were great. (It was really nice to have a machine that dispenses hot water directly, finally no need to bring my own kettle to boil water!) The hotel's location is super convenient, with a bus stop right outside. Senado Square is just a 10-minute walk away, and there are plenty of good eateries nearby. Breakfast was plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options. The Chinese selection leaned towards Cantonese cuisine, and all the egg dishes were delicious. Currently, there's no hotel shuttle. If you're coming from the airport, you might consider taking the MGM shuttle or simply take a public bus."

"I chose this hotel because of Zaha's design, and I was truly amazed by the futuristic setting. All the furniture and amenities in the room were very high-quality, and the perfume, hand cream, and toiletries had a fresh and pleasant scent. Interestingly, there was a picture book in the room that detailed the architectural design and construction process. When ordering room service, a dining table is brought in, and the service is excellent and responsive. The breakfast environment and taste are also fantastic – highly recommended. The only minor downside was that the bathtub wasn't clean; it felt gritty to the touch. Overall, I really loved this hotel and it's definitely worth staying at when in Macau. If I have the chance (and money) in the future, I'll come again and also try the Michelin-starred restaurant on the third floor."

"I've lived in Macau for a few years, and since I prefer quiet places, I chose this hotel over the popular '网红' (influencer-favorite) ones. I highly recommend their rooms with a view! You can see several iconic buildings of the Sands Resorts, and the view is definitely one of the best in Cotai. The room is relatively new and quite spacious, and the bathtub is huge! You can control the room with a tablet, and the flow of movement is well-designed. However, the decor style isn't particularly distinctive, though it does have a smart toilet. The welcome flat peaches were good, but the chocolate wasn't tasty, as strange as the dessert after dinner at The Kitchen downstairs. The amenities are noteworthy; the toiletries are Acqua di Parma, the drinking water is Nordaq, the slippers are thick and comfortable, and the minibar is well-stocked. Regarding dining, breakfast is semi-buffet style, and the quality is good, though the variety is a bit limited. The à la carte main courses and soup are Chinese, along with a seafood dish and juice. The Western pastries in the buffet area could be improved; the round bread was dry, the croissants were mediocre, but the muffins were delicious, and the Chinese options were excellent. Overall, the good outweighs the bad. Downstairs, they have my favorite steakhouse in Macau (The Kitchen) and Cantonese restaurant (Jade Dragon). The bar at Alain Ducasse at Morpheus next door is also good. Many restaurants are a bit of a distance from the hotel and involve some winding paths, so they might be hard to find if you're not familiar with the area. Both the front desk and housekeeping services were excellent; they were responsive to all requests and very thoughtful. The front desk proactively arranged a room with a view for me, and housekeeping patiently fulfilled my various demands. There were some issues with cleanliness, but the staff actively and promptly resolved them, and I even received a bottle of sparkling tea. The rain shower had a minor leak, and the problem persisted after repairs, so the hotel offered fruit as compensation. The housekeeping staff's uniforms look quite comfortable, which is great if they are! I noticed the tops are short-sleeved with a small slit at the back, the ladies' bottoms are culottes of appropriate length, and their shoes are sneakers. Many thanks to all the hotel staff for their hospitality, and I wish them all the best!"

"The hotel is a bit old, so the facilities feel a bit dated, but the cleaning lady was very enthusiastic, and the linens were clean. There's renovation work going on in the building, so it was noisy. The absolute best thing about this place is its location. It's perfect for anyone looking to do a deep dive into Macau's casinos. Wynn and StarWorld casinos are right across the street, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the old and new Grand Lisboa. After clearing customs at Gongbei Port, you can take the free shuttle bus from Wynn or StarWorld directly here. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I'm sure by then the renovations will be finished and the room facilities improved."

"Booked this hotel for a business trip over the weekend. Stepping into the lobby, I was immediately struck by how spacious it was, with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows providing excellent natural light during the day. The room was even more impressive; I could fully open my suitcase and still walk around it comfortably. In the evening, I could work on emails from the sofa without feeling cramped. The shower had consistent water pressure, and the soundproofing was good, allowing me to sleep soundly in such a large space. It really helped alleviate a good portion of my work travel fatigue 🏨"

"Every time I visit Macau, I always stay at the Grand Lisboa. If you're looking for a hotel on the peninsula, the Grand Lisboa is definitely the most convenient and best value for money. It's very close to the Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's, and shopping is incredibly easy. It's about a seven or eight-minute walk to Wynn to see the Tree of Prosperity. The hotel's breakfast buffet and dinner are also of very good quality."
