The hotel is very quiet and the facilities are new. The breakfast is very rich. The rooms are generally clean and soundproofed. The network is fast. There is a free late-night porridge road in the evening, which has steamed buns, cakes, and millet porridge. It is very considerate. The staff is very enthusiastic. The price is more than affordable, the rooms are spacious and count with all the toiletries necessary to a solo traveler.
The rooms are a little bit less than fairly clean.
The staff service is relatively friendly and effective.
If you're a none smoker, you'll hate the place. Under no circumstances take room 3811. Even if you don't smoke, the room magically reaks of a smoking parlour. The windows that can open are very small, to get the best conditions for destroying your lungs fast and thoroughly. If you're a smoker you'll rejoice in the suffocating depths of this cancer paradise of madness.

The environment and service are great, and they're generally very responsive to requests. However, the lack of infrastructure is quite noticeable. We booked a family room, but there were no small step stools for toddlers, no toilet seat for kids, and no bed rail. It was quite inconvenient. If you're offering family suites, these items really should be provided, especially for a five-star hotel. It's not like these are expensive things, and the age of this Sheraton shouldn't be an excuse. Among the three meals, breakfast was the most satisfactory and met expectations. The other two meals (afternoon tea and dinner) were complimentary simple meals – better than nothing, I suppose. The swimming pool was nice; it wasn't crowded, so we had a great swim.

The management at Hilton Hotels has always been excellent, and my stay at the Jiading location this time was fantastic! 👍 The twin room design felt very spacious, and the shower and toilet were separate, which was a plus. 👍 What really stood out was the complimentary self-serve tea and coffee in the lobby, available at all times. While I was on a call, a front desk staff member even brought me some red date and goji berry tea! 👍 I'll definitely choose the Hilton again next time I'm in Jiading. 👍

Stayed in room 923, a triple family room. It was quite a distance from the elevator. The mattress was comfortable. It was a bit inconvenient that there weren't individual chairs or stools in a multi-person room. The bathroom was large but lacked counter space, making it difficult to place toiletries. There was an issue with the lighting control; you could only turn off the master switch, plunging the room into complete darkness, which is a safety hazard for getting up at night. I suggest this be improved. Parking was convenient and free. The mixed noodles at the adjacent mall were absolutely delicious, highly recommend trying them!

Shanghai Jiading Pingcheng Road Light Residence Hotel - Intimate service makes people want to stay again and again!
As soon as I entered the door, I was warmed by the enthusiastic service of the staff! The front desk not only helped me check in quickly, but also took the initiative to help me move my luggage when they saw that I had a lot of luggage, and sent it to the room attentively. What surprised me most was their ”Blue Friend” WeChat service - leave a message at any time if you have any needs, the reply is super fast, and the attitude is super nice, just like having an exclusive butler!
Needless to say, the room is clean and comfortable, but the most impressive thing about this hotel is the sincere service of the staff. From check-in to check-out, every staff member smiled warmly and took the initiative to help. When checking out, they also asked me if I needed help with the luggage. This meticulous care is really touching.
Highly recommended to all friends who pay attention to service experience! It is rare to meet such a thoughtful hotel in Jiading. It is definitely my first choice for future travel!

This hotel is very cost-effective and convenient for transportation. There is Jiading North Station on Line 11 nearby. It takes only a few minutes to get there by bike after getting off the subway. The service attitude of the lady at the front desk is also very good. If you come to Shanghai to find a job, you can stay in this hotel. The auntie cleans the room every day. It's quite good.

CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!
GGuest UserThis Bund hotel stay was absolutely amazing! It's just a 5-minute walk to the riverside, and my room had floor-to-ceiling windows with a perfect view of the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' – I could watch the Oriental Pearl Tower light up at night right from my bed. The smart toilet and automatic curtains were super convenient, and soaking in the bathtub while enjoying the river view was just heavenly! The freshly baked croissants at breakfast were so good they were practically addictive. The rooftop bar had incredible night views, and the cocktails created a fantastic ambiance. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room and sent welcome fruits, and the robot delivering food was adorable. The soundproofing was excellent; I slept like a baby until I woke up naturally. Plus, free laundry and drying service was such a thoughtful touch! The location is unbeatable – Yu Garden and Nanjing Road are within walking distance, and the subway station is right outside. For around 400+ RMB per person, it felt like a thousand-yuan experience. As a detail-oriented person, I was completely won over. I'm definitely booking this place again on my next trip to Shanghai!
MMenglitanle. The facilities are great, and the room is spacious. Every time I come to Shanghai, I stay at this hotel. The front desk service is excellent, and the cleaning staff do a thorough and meticulous job. I highly recommend this place; they even have free popcorn at the front desk and complimentary whiskey. My girlfriend and I always stay here. The movies are also great, and there's a free membership that allows screen casting. Rooms with windows offer a view of the plane trees.
IimnotminFrom the moment you step into the Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund, the elegant charm of Old Shanghai beautifully intertwines with the Bund's vibrant bustle. From your room, you can take in the Lujiazui skyline, with the Huangpu River's day and night flow just outside your window. The personalized concierge service from Aaron Echole was incredibly meticulous, and the entire staff, from concierge to the front desk, exuded the calm sophistication of a long-standing luxury hotel. Enjoying a 'Shanghai Club' cocktail at the Long Bar in the evening felt like stepping back in time to the social scene of a century ago. An absolutely impeccable stay.
GGuest UserThe Peninsula Shanghai, nestled by the Waibaidu Bridge, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and the Bund, might not be described as 'convenient' in the traditional sense, but I found its location perfect for soaking in the unique Shanghainese vibe! The service here is wonderfully old-school and distinctively 'Shanghai' – unhurried yet efficient, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of guest needs. The rooms are classic Peninsula style, with well-defined functional areas, superb soundproofing, and impeccable cleanliness and maintenance, putting my mind completely at ease. The dining experience was a genuine delight; both breakfast and the Cantonese restaurant in the evening were so memorable. I particularly loved the evening bath ritual – pressing the SPA button and immersing myself in the tranquil, ethereal music, it felt like I was back in a cozy island retreat! My two-day Peninsula experience was a solid 12 out of 10. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to truly experience its unique charm!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a minimalist Japanese style, with a clean and atmospheric environment. The staff are very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport on the hour, which is super convenient for catching flights – a big plus!
However, staying for four consecutive days, the breakfast selection was incredibly monotonous and never changed. It got really boring after a while. The late-night snack options were also very limited, with only noodles and congee available – far too few choices.
Furthermore, during my stay, I noticed that the indoor air felt stuffy and poorly ventilated, always with a stale odor. My room was close to the road, so opening the window meant car noise, but closing it made the room stuffy and smelly, which significantly reduced my comfort.
On a positive note, they thoughtfully gave me a small souvenir when I checked out, which was a lovely touch. Overall, the service and airport shuttle were good, but the stay would be much better if they could improve the breakfast variety, add more late-night snack options, enhance room ventilation and soundproofing, and eliminate the stale indoor smell.
EElianaCThis review is long overdue! I was in Shanghai for a business trip in early March, and it happened to be raining heavily then. The underfloor heating gave me the warmest, most comfortable night's sleep, and the duvet cover felt incredibly soft. It was my first time staying in a Shikumen building, and the courtyard was so unique and stylish. Both the courtyard and the room's interior design were absolutely beautiful. The unit I stayed in was located on West Yan'an Road, very close to Xintiandi and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. It was perfect – I could just stroll back after dinner in Bei Li. Check-in was also a breeze. I saw that the host manages several other unique B&Bs, so I'd love to try them out sometime!
GGuest UserOur stay was absolutely wonderful! The room was spotless, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable, we slept soundly. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The facilities were comprehensive and had everything we needed. Plus, the location was incredibly convenient – we could easily get to wherever we wanted to go, and it was still quiet, not noisy at all. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and highly recommend staying here!
JjaspenI've wanted to stay at the W Shanghai - The Bund for a long time, and finally got to during my recent trip to Shanghai. It wasn't as perfect as I'd imagined.
First, the good points: The environment is nice, and the cleanliness is decent. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast offers a wide variety. The outdoor bar was the best experience.
Now, for the less satisfying aspects:
1. Previously, when staying at hotels, you could contact scalpers or certain individuals on platforms to use their membership tiers for room upgrades. Since I booked in advance, I contacted them early about a possible upgrade. I was told that if there was an available room type on the day, I could be upgraded. However, on the day of check-in, they claimed there were no rooms available and didn't upgrade me. At the time, I checked the Ctrip app and saw that rooms *were* available. I'm a platinum member with upgrade benefits, and I still didn't get one.
2. My Ctrip booking included two complimentary drinks, but the front desk didn't provide vouchers during check-in. I only found out at the bar that I needed to go back to the front desk to get them.
3. I had a lot of things and wanted to use the black bag in the closet. Unfortunately, it was broken, and the hotel hadn't replaced it in time.
GGuest UserI stayed here temporarily for a visa appointment. Although the room is small, it's reflected in the price, and it was perfectly fine for one person. The location is downtown, close to everything. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and tidy. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm very satisfied! ✅
